Beautiful 2-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom condo with SPECTACULAR OCEAN VIEWS from every room, and a wrap around balcony. Located in the guard gated community of Coco Bay Estates with access to all the amenities of Coco Bay Estates (pickleball, tennis, main pool, fitness center/gym) included at no additional cost.

Unit includes: Two spacious master suites and master bathrooms with luxurious designer finishings and an in unit washer/dryer ensures an enjoyable and comfortable stay in Coco Bay. We have a professional management team ready to assist for any needs during your stay.

Property includes: The Club at Coco Bay Pickleball/Tennis courts, Fitness Center/Gym, and big main Pool with slide, all complimentary for our guests. Plus new panoramic view pool right outside the condo and guard gated overnight parking are also included at no additional cost.

Guests at the condo rave about the big balcony with stunning ocean views. They also love the new panoramic view pool right outside the condo. Safety is a priority as the property is equipped with 24-hour security and guarded free overnight parking. It is conveniently located near Ocotal Beach and Playa Del Coco including lovely boutiques, souvenir shops, and plenty of delicious restaurants and bars. *VRBO incorrectly says it is a 8 minute walk to beach but they should say an 8 minute drive to either Ocotal or Coco beach. Explore many adventures nearby including hiking, bird watching, boating, and snorkeling. Experience the Pura Vida lifestyle that Costa Rica is known for with a vacation you'll never forget from your own private sanctuary with panoramic views of the beautiful Costa Rican coastline.
**Note: It is best to have a rental car (golf carts not allowed by HOA) when staying at this property to explore all the area has to offer and as it is a steep hill (providing the big views) up to the condo.

Love the view, the unit’s double master bedrooms, location to great beaches (need a car!), restaurants and grocery stores. Hosts were great, communication excellent. Would definitely stay again. The pool was great to swim in every morning. Thanks for a great relaxing stay!

Great stay!

The Coco Bay resort has everything you need to make a great vacation. Numerous beaches are 10 minutes away, grocery stores are just outside the complex.If I had any complaint, it’s just windy up on the hill. But I heard from the locals it was unusually windy at the time.

Our Stay at the Condo in Coco Bay Estates –

We absolutely loved the condo and the stunning view it offered! During our stay, we found ourselves spending most of our time outside on the porch, soaking in the beauty of our surroundings. Mornings and evenings were especially magical, creating the perfect setting for relaxation. It was truly a memorable experience!

Perfection in Paradise

The property was exactly as advertised. Communication was great. Property manager met us at convenient location and escorted us to the condo.View is remarkable! Added bonus was that the balcony was sheltered from some winds that came up a couple of times and we were sill able to use it comfortably. The owner pays the fee to use the beach club at Ocotal and the gym, pool and pickleball, tennis courts. We had a great time at the pickleball open play with people from all over. Honestly, not sure how it could have been better. We never return to our prior rentals as we want new experiences but this one will be the first exception!

Magnificent View / Comfortable Apartment

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay and Playa del Coco. The drive to the apartment is an adventure, but well worth the effort because of the magnificent view over the bay. It was so relaxing to sit out on the patio and enjoy a cocktail (or two). We really appreciated the beach chairs and beach towels that were provided. They now have a fabulous pickleball setup down at the club and the “regulars” made us very welcome. Great fun! Hopefully we will have a chance to return in the future.

Great Vacation!

This is a very comfortable, clean, beautiful safe place to stay. We really enjoyed the beautiful views from the balcony. Our property manager was very helpful and quick to give us advice on restaurants and fun things to do in the area. The restaurants and pools were great. It was stated it is a short 8 minute walk to the beach, but it is my opinion that you can not walk to the beach, you will need a car.

Costa Rica Vacation

We enjoyed the condo. We were two couples and the king beds with their own ensuite was great. The two clubhouses where you could swim were lovely but you cannot access the condo without a car without a great deal of incline walking. Being up high adds to the gorgeous view. Owner was very receptive and Corby the property manager was responsive. Thank you for sharing your home.

Delightful apartment

My wife and I stayed in this condominium for a week the end of January, 2024. I have stayed at 30 VRBO units over the last 20 years. This was one of the nicest. At 1500 square feet with 2 bedrooms, 2.5 baths and a full kitchen it is perfect for 2-4 people. The view over Coco bay is beautiful. The furnishings were well chosen . The beds were very comfortable! There were excellent light blocking curtains in the bedrooms, an oft-neglected but essential item. The club associated with the unit had a beautiful pool, plenty of pickleball courts ( not my thing) and a nice restaurant. The local apartment manager, Corby, was very friendly and helpful with good accessibility. For spending time visiting this part of Costa Rica this is an excellent , reasonably priced accommodation and we fully recommend it.

Lovely stay

My husband and I had a lovely week at Coco Bay Estates. The view is the highlight of the condo, we sat on the balcony a lot. We’re early risers and would sit with a cup of coffee watching the bay come into view while listening to birds and monkeys. Corby, the property manager in Coco, was a delight to deal with. From meeting us upon arrival to communication throughout our stay. The condo is well appointed, and has everything you might need during your stay. Accessibility is great, up two short flights of stairs, or there is an elevator. A security guard was stationed next to the building during the night and would patrol the area frequently during his shift. The drive up to the condo never got old, up the steep hill. We found a regular car was fine to get around. Coco itself was busy, and we found it a bit chaotic, people walking and cycling everywhere, with motorcycles weaving around cars. Parking in El Coco can be challenging. We enjoyed the pool at Coco Bay Estates, poolside drink service was excellent. The pool at Ocotal beach club is smaller, but also very nice. Great to have beach access from there as well. There were not very many mosquitos during our stay, and as an arachnophobe I am happy to say we only saw two spiders during our week, and they weren’t even that big. We did a hike to La Leona waterfall, as well as a rainforest tour, and didn’t see any snakes, tarantulas or other large bugs. Highly recommend this condo.

Amazing

This property was a breath taker. Between the views, sounds the luxurious feel and overall warmth. This made our vacation. To come back to a place where you can move around after falling in love with Costa Rica day after day for a week. We loved all of it from the amenities, the size, the comfort, the views this place is nothing short of AMAZING. And Corby is just a doll to work with.

Beautiful Views From Well Maintained Property

Stunning Views. Nicely appointed and maintained unit that has all the amenities you need. Owners and management team responsive and helpful. As pointed out by others, a Car is a necessity to go anywhere, including pool and clubhouse dining. Property condo complex is at the top of an extremely (and I mean extremely) steep road. This condo complex is in a gated community that is isolated from town and the beach. Just be prepared to drive wherever you want to go. Also prepare to be underwhelmed by the touted community beach club and ocotal beach. This is not a high end beach club experience, more like an HOA building and pool near a locals beach. Playas del coco itself is a small village and not part of the main tourist destination area, an advantage or disadvantage depending on your point of view.

Amazing view

Our stay was exactly what we needed. The condo was nice and close to town/grocery stores and restraints. You must have a rental car to get to it because of the steep hill but oh my the view makes for a nice relaxing place to unwind on the balcony. The property contact went above and beyond to answer questions and set up excursions for us. We would stay here again.

You'll love the view

The condo was very nice and we especially appreciated Corby, the property manager. She was quick to answer any questions and was super helpful. The biggest benefits to this rental are the view and access to two swim clubs. Ocotal Club is especially handy because it offers a place to park, swim, bathroom and shower facilities when visiting the beach. Additionally, the beds are very comfortable, and the two bedrooms are very big with ample closet space and en-suite bathrooms. The biggest negative is that the condo is completed isolated from anything walkable. You absolutely must have a car and it is the only way to access anything - including the pool. With the heat, humidity and massive hill, it is impossible to walk anywhere. However, with a car, accessing the pool (2 min drive), local restaurants, local shops (7 min drive), etc. is very easy to do with a bit of planning. The kitchen is a bit small but has everything we needed to do some cooking at home. This was helpful since we stayed for a month. Lots to do within a 2 hour drive ... volcanos, adventure parks, waterfalls, beautiful beaches, restaurants.

Very clean and amazing views!

I am a regional manager for a hotel chain and we took this trip for my 40th birthday. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable. I have high expectations of cleanliness due to my position at work, and this place was exceptionally clean. Very short drive to restaurants, beaches and other activities. The communication from the property owner to the checkin manager was great! Corby took time to meet us at subway and show us how to get to the condo which was above and beyond for our first time in this beautiful country! Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful view, very comfortable condo

Overlooking the bay and ocean, this very comfortable condo has all you need for a short or long stay. Although the kitchen is just a bit small, the living area, to master bedroom suites, and generous balconies are ample. You’ll probably want to rent a car, as the condo is at the top of a fairly steep hill, but you can usually get to the beach or to the restaurants and clubs in Cocoa. Highly recommend!
