This intimate Gulf-front condo sits on the beach and offers a well-equipped kitchen, a spacious floor plan, and a private balcony attached to the primary bedroom from where you can enjoy the view. On-site amenities include a beachside outdoor pool, indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, fitness room, grilling area, and private beach boardwalk.

Looking for adventure? Head to Alabama’s Gulf State Park for a day of fishing, hiking, and beautiful scenic views, only two miles away. Craft Farms and Peninsula Golf Courses await less than 15 miles from your front door for those looking to play a few rounds. Just three miles away, Orange Beach Marina offers fishing charters, dolphin cruises, and watersports equipment rentals. And when you get hungry, popular restaurants are within three miles of this complex.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

great stay at the beach

We had a great stay at Tidewater, great view of the Gulf, quiet place to stay, we enjoyed the pool and easy access to the beach, furniture was a little dated, wife wished they would have had a Keurig for here coffee pods (she made due with the coffee pot) Air worked good kept us cool when we was in the room. Staff at the condo was excellent, security guard was always making rounds on the property. Easy access to the gated parking lot with plenty of parking. We will definitely keep this condo in our thoughts for future vacations.

Repairs/Upgrades Needed, Bring your coffee maker...

Where do I start? Weekend stay planned for husband's birthday, major disappointment. Multiple floor tile cracks. Cracks at railing joints to tile floor on balcony. Ceiling cracks. Ceiling surface peeled off and/or badly stained from a water leak (master bath ceiling fan).Living area chair, arms fabric torn. Refrigerator, only one shelf, the rest missing and crisper drawer cracked/broken. No coffee maker, despite online pics. Master bath vanity lights out (2). Unable to adjust ceiling fan speed in living area, due to tiny chain, well above reaching height. Guest bath faucet, knob came off. Hole in wall in master vanity. Wall dings and marks in nearly every area of the condo. Stove burners had to be reinserted into slots. Master tub, walls had not been cleaned and soap scum around top portion of tub. Sliding glass doors were cloudy. The only non- complaint for this unit is the view. Very disappointed with the state of the condo, given the price paid. Third time using Vacasa and the first two times, condos had minimal to no issues. This one desperately needs updates. Can't believe it would be rented out with the issues listed.

In bad condition

To remove personal opinion, I will simply list conditions. Key pad buttons stick, hall door broken, fridge shelf missing, total of 3 forks, no potholders, 1 kitchen towel, 2 bath towels, no extra blankets, faucet in shower loose, 2nd sliding glass door stuck-partially open, furniture old and worn, carpet old and worn, toilet loose, sink faucet fell off, lamp switch broken, corroded fixtures, stove top burners disconnected. Yes it was below average cost, but you would wxpect in the least things to function, with maybe a couple issues.

Owner should be ashamed

Living room furniture worn and dirty. Dining room chair cushions dirty. The towels provided are what you have for your entire visit. No beach towels, chairs ir toys provided. Balcony furniture is dirty and chaise lounge is broken. Expected better for the price

I love the location. I liked everything about the place except I rented a room for six people. It only had four forks and four towels. Two trash bags for the four day stay and the elevator smelled like a gut shot monkey other than that it was amazing

Fun stay

Condo was as described: basic furniture and kitchen items to cook meals. Condo is within walking distance of several restaurants and close to grocery stores and shopping. Beach was clean. They have umbrellas and chairs available to rent which I highly recommend. We had a great stay- only issue was the elevators going out several times during the week. It is a long walk up 12 flights of stairs with groceries or luggage.

Nasty, disgusting place. Not sanitized.

Left a day early due to the lack of maintenance and cleaning. No one would clean or repair issues in 1206 TIDEWATER. Body hair in tubs. Mold in shower curtains. Nasty disgusting sewer smell from kitchen sink. Hair and glitter every where. Standing dust on a/c return. Promises to clean room, fix door, change air filter no one ever came. Left a day early as place is disgusting. Afraid to sit on furniture with the stain. Wife refused to sleep in bed with sand in it. With COVID-19 fears one would assume sanitation and basic cleaning would be a priority. Not with Vacasa. They just want your money.

Disappointed

My husband, mom, dad and myself recently stayed here in unit 1206. We were overall just not very happy with the cleanliness of the unit and other things that I can describe…. The handles on the kitchen cabinets were the cheapest plastic things I have ever seen, the stove didn’t work right half the time, the refrigerator had no shelves which just seemed stupid to us, the furniture in the living room area was probably the worst I’ve seen in a condo where we paid 3200 dollars to stay for six days, the furniture on the balcony was just as cheap and it was dirty and appeared to have some kind of mold on it, the balcony railing did have mold on it. The toilet in the master bathroom worked and was not secure, the fixtures in both bathrooms looked like they were bought at dollar tree as well as the shower curtain in the small bathroom, the drawer pulls in the bathrooms were made of the same cheap stuff that the ones in the kitchen were made of, the sliding glass door off of the master bedroom barely worked as we opened it one time and like to never have gotten it closed ( so we never opened it again). These are the things that I can immediately think of. I would not recommend this unit to any of my friends and family unless they make some major upgrades! I feel they should be ashamed of theirselves for charging 3200 dollars to stay in what me and my family considered a subpar condo for the price!

First and last—

Several cracks in my he ceilings of the den, kitchen, and bedroom Bi-fold Closest door was detached and inside the closet No shelves inside the fridge Den Sliding glass door would not lock. Bedroom sliding glass door was off track and stuck open Could not bathe in one bath bc there was no tub plug Bottom corner of dust ruffle was spiked in 3 places - nasty Stalactites were hanging from the ceiling over the walkway from the elevator to the room—concrete degradation??

Don’t stay here

It rained in the living room and bedroom. The tubs and sinks still had hair in them from the previous guest. The television in the living room didn’t work. The water in the front bathroom didn’t work, so we all had to share the same bathroom.

Good location, dirty unit

This location is great! We took our 3 and 5 year old here and the beach was very family friendly and clean. The beach was an easy walk, and the boardwalk is nicely built with hoses built in to clean the sand off of everything. All restaurants were just a few minute drive away, and there is a really great donut place and seafood place directly across the street. I cant say anything negative about the location and the beach environment. The unit was another story. It was dingy and definitely in need of some updates. The furniture in the living room as well as the bar stools in the kitchen were stained and had visible dirt/grease spots on them. I pulled a folded blanket down from the closet and it had a large pizza sauce looking spot on it. Not a stain, but an actual chunky sauce spot. It obviously hadn't been washed from the previous tenants. The living room curtains had a huge brown liquid looking stain on them, and there was black mildew spots along the floor boards throughout the bathrooms. It was just dingy and kind of gross. My husband and kids didn't notice, and we really didnt stay in the unit very much at all, but it really grossed me out. The view is great and beach access is great, but I would not say here again. There is no one on one contact with an owner, this is managed by a company, and I think it shows. When I stay at other VRBOs that are managed and run by the owner the experience is usually phenomenal and the upkeep of their unit is the same. This honestly seemed like a hotel, just in a condo. Kitchen utensils were pretty minimum and cookware/plasticware was the same. We bought lots of groceries and there was only one small plastic container to put food in. Otherwise it was just cookwear or big bowls. That might be petty, but I was expecting a fairly supplied kitchen. All in all the location and beach are great, and if you can get past dingy and dirty then this would be a good unit to stay in.

Top floor views!

The view is magnificent. I’d give it five stars if they replaced most of the furniture (including patio), gave it a fresh coat of paint, and had some extras like oven mitts- Master bed was comfortable though. It is on the top floor away from the elevator, so nice and quiet with no upstairs neighbors or street noise. You can still hear the waves though! I can’t wait to come back!! Favorite thing to do each night was to read on the balcony or in the bed with the curtains open while the sun was setting. So relaxing.
