Stylish, comfortable, and Snowbird friendly, this Gulf front getaway welcomes groups! Every bedroom boasts a beach view and has a sliding glass door for instant access out to the private, furnished, wraparound balcony. Summer House guests have full access to the large split level outdoor pool as well as the extra-large hot tub, fitness room, covered poolside gazebo, and soothing sauna.

Less than three miles up the coast, discover fine dining, boutique shopping, and a full-featured marina offering opportunities for deep sea fishing, diving, and other watersports, all at SanRoc Cay Marina. For a day of outdoor adventure, hike or cycle the miles of trails that wind throughout nearby Alabama Gulf State Park. And find fun, family-friendly attractions at places like Adventure Island, less than a mile away, and Waterville USA, only six miles from this rental.

THINGS TO KNOW
Please note that group rentals are not allowed at Summer House on Romar Beach. No more than 5 units may be rented for groups of any kind. Any bookings found to be in violation of this policy will result in a fine of $500.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Vacasa Forced Relocation

Vacasa notified us 7 days before departure that the condo was no longer available and they offered us alternatives. We were offered only one other beachfront property and it was in Navarre beach 45 minutes away. We did go ahead and accept that property but communication with Vacasa was terrible. They did not give us the correct WiFi password until the fifth day of our stay despite daily texts and requests for help, and the broken toilet in the master bathroom was never fixed despite daily calls. They did not reach out after reporting our concerns or leaving a poor review. I do not think we will ever book a Vacasa property again.

Girls’ Trip.

There were six of us girls (most are retired). We’ve taken a beach trip every spring and fall for many years. This condo was perfect for us. We loved the wrap around balcony, which had sturdy furniture—not so flimsy that you’re afraid to sit in it. Very clean. Great dining room and balcony tables big enough for cards and dominoes. Kitchen had most every utensil, pots/pans and dishes that we needed. Only two drawbacks were the need of a new king mattress and the tub/shower in one of the baths needed a liner as the curtain allowed water to get on the floor. We all decided that it is one of our most-enjoyed condos and that we will book it again. Hopefully the mattress will be replaced by then.

Amazing!

Communication was exceptional with the property managers. The check in process was easy. The rental was absolutely spotless. Our view from the balcony was beautiful from the 14th floor. Beds comfortable. We had an amazing stay while there. Would highly recommend this rental to anyone. I would definitely stay there again.

Great condo, awful management

We found the condo to be clean, spacious and the view is beautiful. The issue we had was with the property manager. The ice machine flooded the kitchen multiple times and communication about the issue was horrible. I had to text and call multiple times while waiting on hold. When someone finally came out they attempted to fix the ice maker but left the giant mess of all the wet towels we had used to cleanup. I requested clean towels but they never arrived so I spent two days of my vacation cleaning up a flood and doing laundry. Not relaxing!

Loved the condo

Loved the condo. It had everything we needed. Loved the balcony! The only complaint is the rugs…all of them need to be cleaned. Stains on all of them. Other than that, it was decorated great and was very warming and comfortable! Thank you! Oh, we loved the built in ice machine!😜

Great ocean view

We enjoyed the ocean view from each bedroom, living and dining room, however, working the microwave and toaster at the same time could result in flipping a breaker.

Great experience

Perfect location! Recently remodeled and very clean! Beautiful views from every bedroom and a wrap around deck. Short walk to the beach and pools. Plenty of parking! A great experience! We would choose 1401-b again!

First Time Fun at Orange Beach - Awesome Condo!

The condo was very clean, newly updated and very well supplied with everything we needed. The 14th floor view was perfect and we loved being on the corner. Our 2 kids (5 & 10) had their space to sprawl out with bothering each other. We would definitely recommend this condo if going back to Orange Beach.

Great Stay

The accommodations at Summerhouse was absolutely perfect. The condo was beautiful and the balcony was an incredible joy to relax as well as dine. Loved my morning coffee on the balcony. The only thing I could say is the check out email should be sent out much much earlier as I departed at 7am on checkout day but text wasn’t sent until after 9am and because I was driving didn’t see text until after 4pm. All in all I give 10 stars on a 5 star scale.

Short Get Away

Summer House B - April 2022

Always enjoy Summer House. Great rooms. On the beach. Clean units. Easy communication (after pandemic and Hurricane damage) interrupted our travel plans several times. I am at OB regularly and enjoy Summer House each spring for a week - this year lagniappe - 8 days. You will not want to go home.

Nice condo

We enjoyed our stay and the condo was very nice with amazing views from 14th floor. Can see pool and ocean!! Came with starters of soap, detergent, paper products, etc. Also had bath towels. Only issues that owner should look at was black on master ceiling and sliding door in twin room had handle that was loose. Also, maybe a dishrag for kitchen but did come with a sponge which was nice!! We would definitely stay again as we love Summerhouse with the indoor and outdoor pool and so close to ocean!! Wish we could stay forever!!

Needs Some Work but the Balcony is Amazing!

Overall the condo is great but the garbage disposal was broke - Used it before we knew - called for assistance, waited all day, no response - luckily we had someone with us who knew how to “unfreeze it” so we could avoid a smelly situation. Also the shower curtain in extra bath was ripped about half way so showering was a bit of a challenge in order to not get the floor and wall wet. The balcony is the best feature!
