Escape to The Golden Spot, where relaxation meets luxury. Enjoy mornings in your private backyard oasis, complete with a spa and salt water pool overlooking the golf course. Pool heating is optional and available for an additional fee of $50 per day, while spa heating is always included at no charge.

Recently renovated in September 2023, this retreat offers a detached casita with a queen bed, private bath, and amenities like separate A/C and a flat-screen TV with streaming services. We're also excited to offer an on-site Level 2 EV charger (Tesla NACS connector), free for guests.
Inside the main house, panoramic views of fairway #4 await from the entry. The spacious master suite features a king bed and direct access to the outdoor spa, while two additional bedrooms offer comfort with a king bed and two twin beds respectively, each equipped with TVs and streaming capabilities. A full bathroom conveniently serves these bedrooms.

Entertain effortlessly in the open-concept kitchen with a gas stove, dining table for 8, and a large island for additional seating. The adjacent great room boasts a 65" flat-screen TV and opens to a beautifully tiled outdoor living space. Here, a built-in grill, beverage fridge, and cozy seating around an outdoor fireplace invite you to unwind against a backdrop of mountain views.

Guests of The Golden Spot also enjoy exclusive access to two large community pools and the Indian Palms CC Lifestyle Center, offering fitness facilities, pickleball, tennis, and bocce ball, all within a gated community setting. Additional amenities include a laundry room, a two-car garage, and recreational options like beach-cruiser bicycles and foot scooters.

We stayed at this beautiful home over Christmas and had an absolutely wonderful time! The house was even more stunning than the pictures — spotlessly clean and so welcoming. Tiffany was amazing to work with — incredibly responsive, kind, and accommodating from start to finish.Walking around the neighborhood was lovely, with friendly faces everywhere. We only used the hot tub a few times, but it was perfect each time, and we loved relaxing by the fire pit with a glass of wine while watching the golfers go by. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our Christmas Eve and Christmas Day dinners — we brought food just in case places were closed, and it worked out perfectly.This was truly an amazing place to stay, and we’ll most definitely be back! Our only regret is running out of time before getting to enjoy the bikes.

Amazing Coachella

We had a blast staying here. It was close to the festival, had great amenities, and the pictures honestly understate how nice the place is. The pool is heated and is the perfect size.

Relaxing stay

The house was spacious and very comfortable. Helped us with a much needed end of year recharge. Tiffany was exceptionally responsive when I had questions and was organized in terms of making sure we had all we needed to check in, access things in the developing, etc. Would go back.

This house was perfect for a 2 family getaway for thanksgiving.

We spent 4 wonderful days in the house, Bedrooms, linen and beds are 4-5* hotel quality. The house was fully equipped, great entertainment setup (tv, loaded roku, games). The long tables (indoor and outdoor) were perfect for festivities. The pool is small but good enough for adults and teens. We loved it.

Great house!

Our group of 4 adults loved our stay here for a long weekend of golf and hiking. The home was the perfect amount of space for us. It is clean and very well kept, well equipped with all the necessary amenities and offered great gathering space, both indoors and outdoors. Communication from booking through checkout was excellent. We'd certainly stay here again. Our only wish for an improved stay was that we could have used any of the neighborhood access gates rather than always making the drive to the main one.

Perfect getaway!!

We loved everything about this property!! You can see that this Owner takes great pride in her property ,it looks exactly as pictured. Home has everything you can possibly need, lot of extra amenities so you are not running to store every minute We used this as home base while attending a concert. Easy walk to empire polo fields , also a lot of rideshare options at complex also Owner was very easy to get a hold of if we needed anything. Our whole crew would definitely stay here again. 100% recommend

Wonderful Stay

We had a great time at the house. Very clean, nicely decorated and had all the cooking items we needed. We were in Indio for a lax tournament. We choose this house so we could ride bikes to the lax tournament. Our only issue is that the house doesn't come with a transponder so you are required to go to the main gate every time you enter/leave- which is far from the house. This added significant time to get to the fields. Once we realized that we were able to adjust planning but would have been nice to know ahead of time. We would stay there again even knowing the transponder issue and neighborhood access requirements.

Great place!

We were 3 families (5 adults, 3 teenage girls) here for a lacrosse tournament. There were enough beds for everyone and the house +casitas were lovely. I thought the beds were very comfortable. The house was just as advertised. We took advantage of the spa, the bikes, and pickle ball courts, as well as the easy walking/driving distance to the fields. That was particularly great for the early morning games. The only slightly annoying part is that the closest gate to 50th Ave does not have a walk through gate for pedestrians and cars need a transponder to exit/enter, which I am assuming is restricted to residents. I wish that there was a way to at least walk/bike through the gate without waiting for a car. I believe other reviewers had mentioned this so I knew what to expect. Otherwise, it was usually fine to enter/exit through the main gate, but it did get backed up the first night we were there and it took us 20 minutes to drive through the front gate after going to Walmart to get groceries. On Sunday, the Lifestyle Center closed early, which we didn't know, but fortunately there were some very nice people with extra paddles who shared with us when we went in the afternoon. The coffee pot was broken by previous renters and the replacement had not come in yet and there was a Keurig but no pods. Unfortunately I didn't know that before I went to the grocery store. Tiffany, the owner, was very responsive and I appreciated her communication. Overall, a great place to stay

So-So Property

Nicely decorated as seen in the photos. Kitchen stocked adequately but cooking supplies dis-shoveled and thrown in drawers. Food and crumbs in the utensil drawers and food stuck on dishes. I had to rewash when we arrived. The outdoor furniture is very run down and poor quality. The couch pictured is actually pieces that slide easily when sitting on them and constantly have to be adjusted. Two beach chairs that look like they had been sitting in the sun for 10 years were included in seating option on the deck (I thought they were accidentally left behind they were in such poor quality). A 200lb person sat in it and the seat tore out. We were charged for both chairs. The owner markets the activity center as an amenity available for their guests, but fails to mention for only up to four guests (the home sleeps 10). The pool and hot tub can not both be heated so you will need to decide which one you want warm and coordinate with owner for heating, just FYI. I was disappointed with the lack of access to the main streets from this home's location. It's at the very back of the complex and over a mile to the front entrance. LONG wait times to go through the security gate at the front entrance to the complex with cars backed up into the intersection. The surrounding amenities are tired looking.

Thank you for your input, Shannon. We work really hard to keep the house and all its belongings in good condition and up to date. Your initial email to me after being in the house was "this is a great spot!" I really enjoyed working with you and was very surprised to receive the photos from our cleaner of how you left the house. Vomit on the floor, door and wall, blood on a pillow, towel rack broken, beach chair broken, trash left all over the house, to name a few. The hot tub was left on all night for multiple nights. The garage door was left open through the night. We got our first complaint ever from one of our neighbors, that your group was loud and disrespectful all hours of the night. You are correct, the pool and hot tub cannot both be heated at the same time. That is the way the system is installed. It is unfortunate that you have to access the neighborhood from the front gate, as it is about a 2-minute drive to the house. That is just part of being in a gated community. They are working on a new system to get people through the main gate quicker.

Great place

We were in town for a soccer tournament. We really enjoyed our stay. The house is very clean and the owners are easy to get a hold of if you need them. Everything about our stay was perfect. Would highly recommend this property.

This is an amazing house with all the amenities that you need for a perfect vacation. The house is beautifully decorated with plenty of rooms and close to everything. The owners were exceptional in answering all my questions and we look forward to staying there again in the future.

Overall Awesome!

Kitchen has everything you need. Beds were all comfortable with high quality bedding. Pool and spa clean and well maintained. Good location, close to groceries, golf and Palm Springs. Owners were super friendly and helpful. Would stay there again.

Family trip to Indio / Palm Springs

Beautiful home & better home owners! Tiffany & her husband were beyond helpful & an absolute pleasure to deal with every time. Every room in the house was gorgeous, the kids LOVED being in the backyard pool everyday & the built-in BBQ was also a huge plus! It was so nice having more than enough room for the 7 of us to enjoy our meals whether we wanted to eat in the dining room or at the table outside. This was the first VRBO I’ve ever rented & we couldn’t have asked for a better house than The Golden Spot. It was perfect for our family! We had 5 adults & 2 kids staying there & it never felt crowded. Great having big screen TVs in the living room & every bedroom with Roku & cable TV - fast wifi as well! It was also really nice to be in a gated community - safe, quiet, no vehicles flying by any of the houses at any time. So happy we chose this house. You won’t regret it!! We would love to stay here again next time we’re in Palm Springs / Indio!

Beautiful Retreat

Lovely Home for a Getaway

This home worked perfectly for our week long Spring Break with our extended family of 4. We had more room than we needed. Everything was provided and was very comfortable. Great proximity to great golf.

Nice place

The house was in very good condition. Perfect for a family between 4-6 people. We had a little issue with the spa/hot tub, but Sean and Tiffany were extremely communicative and took care of the issue. Very nice place, will be back at some point!

Wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday!!

In this crazy 2020 Thanksgiving year, it was so refreshing to stay at the Golden Spot. Although not all family members could make it out to Indio, the house was spotless and the check-in was so simple. House sits on the 4th hole of the golf course and got in 3 rounds during the holiday week. Tiffany was easy to contact and responded quickly to any questions. Read the guest binder and all the info is there. Grocery stores and costco nearby and we literally ordered out twice. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans that you ever needed that cooking was a breeze. Made use of the grill on several occasions and relaxed in the pool. There's both a table that seats 5, plus patio furniture to relax and enjoy the view of the golf course or mountains with use of the outdoor wood burning fireplace. Had access to 4 bikes and 2 razors/scooters and routinely rode thru the neighborhood. Residents in gated community were friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be back. Couldn't have asked for better hosts. Thanks Tiffany & Sean!!

Friends getaway

We loved it. It was perfect for the friends who just wanted to unwind and getaway. The kitchen was welled supplied and great for someone who enjoys to cook. The casita was a bonus for us since it provided one person who unfortunately had to work and a comfortable work space and privacy. The house is just as described and we loved the outdoor space since it is covered, has ceiling fans, lots of nice seating, and a view of the mountains. It felt spiritual for one friend and definitely comfy and homey to all of us. It was great place to go relax and we definitely would go back again.
