Beautiful views

Our family stayed for a week, and we had everything we could possibly need. The property was very comfortable, and the views were amazing! We would definitely stay again!

Fabulous home

We stayed at this property for a week in August and could not have been happier with out stay. It is conveniently located in Islamorada, has a great dock, and the home was spacious, clean and had everything we needed to make this a great vacation for us all. The property and pool were also well maintained and the allowed for a fun, yet relaxing week.

Great stay in Islamorada. I loved the upstairs deck to sit and watch the ocean and fishermen coming in and out. Saw a visiting manatee one evening. Nice complex and pool. Everyone in our party had plenty of space to spread out. The owner was great to communicate with. The house was incredibly equipped. The location was also great for all of the activities we did such as a fishing charter, snorkeling, etc. we did not bring a boat but it was an option. The only downside was the sargassum on the south beach which nobody could do much about. The groundskeepers did try to carve a path through it one day to make it easier to get a kayak out. That is more of a problem on the Atlantic side vs bayside. I would definitely stay here again. Having a unit practically on the water is amazing ! Thanks for a great week!

140 Anglers Reef

The location and ability to have your boat at the property makes this a great spot for fishermen and boaters. Steve was a superb host and very helpful throughout the process. The house is well equipped and just right for our family fishing and snorkeling adventure. The community pool, kayaks and paddle boards were a plus. Thanks you Steve!

Fun in the sun

Beautiful home in a beautiful gated community...best house of them all. Exactly as described in the offering. Steve was very helpfull and accomodating with great recommendations and support. Hope to return in the future.

No place better than Angler's Reef

This was our second stay at Angler's Reef and our first time at Steve's beautiful house. We needed a larger space. The whole process was effortless and Steve (the owner) was always responsive and helpful when we had questions. Steve also provided a helpful Welcome book that answered any house questions. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking for a big group. The house has big wrap around porches on both the first and second floor with plenty of porch seating for all. We spent hours each night on the upper porch watching the stars and water. Can't wait to return!

Wonderful family trip

Our family with young kids (under 10) had a wonderful week long stay here. The private community is very family friendly and was full of families with kids. The pool was one of our favorite parts, it is the perfect size and doesn't get deeper than 5ft which is perfect for kids. Steve's unit has to be the best one in the community - the view is unbelievable. There are two large wrap around decks with perfect front row view of the water. There are docks that people fish off of right in front of the unit, and a small private beach that you can use kayaks and stand up paddle boards from - which we really enjoyed. The location in Isla Morada is great, private, secluded, close to everything that you'd want to do, and a nice Publix grocery store just a few minutes drive down the road. The unit itself was much more spacious than we imagined, and provided everything we needed in terms of towels, dishes, etc. We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be back again!

Stayed in Anglers Reef many times so we knew what to expect. Perfect location, very clean, great amenities, beautiful neighborhood, etc. Only slight complaint is the temperature of the house. We had to turn up the thermostat every day when we left so that it didn’t freeze up and then turn it back down when we got back. Also had to keep the blinds closed due to the heat, which kinda defeats the point of having an ocean front home.

Thanks for the review Robin. I do apologize about the AC having trouble keeping up with the high temps and humidity. The house has so much glass facing the ocean to the southwest that even a few window blinds left open all day can have an impact. My suggestion was to close them when you are not in the house (at the pool, out in the boat,out to restaurants, etc.) - not to have to close the blinds and lose all the great views while you are at the house. Sorry for the confusion!

Great spot in Islamorada

This is a beautiful home in a great spot in Islamorada. Love the dock, beach and pool and that the community is gated. Steve was awesome to work with. Great communication. Will definitely stay again!

Beautiful Relaxing Views

The rental was spectacular. It was super clean, had a well equipped kitchen, Bbq, pool, kayaks, boat dock and priceless deck views. The owner provided excellent information (fishing, restaurants, shipping etc) We will be back!!!

Keys Vacation

The house was very nice and large for what we needed. Great having the gated community with the house at the end of the row. We had an excellent view of the water and sunrises. The beach was super close as well as the community pool. Islamorada was our favorite key along with Key Largo. All of the restaurants were very close to the house, and we hit every one of them during our stay. I would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic week in paradise

We traveled to 140 Angler's Reef with friends to celebrate birthdays & our anniversary and couldn't have found a more perfect location. Beautiful views of the ocean, quiet community, gorgeous pool and lots of local options for dining out. Grocery store was just down the street which made it nice to cook a few meals in the fully equipped kitchen. Loved drinking coffee on the porch watching the sunrise each morning. Reached out to the owner with a question during the week and had a response within minutes. Amazing stay! We will definitely be back again.

Islamorada dreaming

The rental and property is great. Gated community that is well kept. Pool and dicks were great. Unfortunately there was a hurricane and our guests had to cancel. We did purchase insurance but that apparently didn't cover hurricane warnings. Otherwiae this is a great rental for large families.

Wonderful family fishing trip!

This was our 4th trip to the Keys and 2nd time staying at Anglers Reef. We can't say enough about how great Steve's place is. The views from every room and the wrap around porches were amazing! We spent most evenings on the porch, cocktail in hand, enjoying the view and the breeze. The house is well stocked with kitchen appliances, cooking utensils, regular & Keurig coffee makers, blender etc. There is a gas grill, pool toys and a handy bait freezer outside. We also rented the boat slip along with the house. Dock steps are right in front of the house. Steve was great about communicating info about the house, checking in & out, Anglers Reef and the Islamorada area! He even sent some great Rum punch recipes! We will definitely be back & hopefully Steve's place will be available!

Great location in a gated community

We were very happy to have booked this property. It’s at a great location, it looks like the largest home at Anglers Reef. We were a few feet from the dock where my son would fish daily. There were kayaks available which we used 3 or 4 times. It was walking distance from a few restaurants. The home was great with everything you would need on a vacation. The communication with the owner was great. First class home.

Great Vacation Location - Low Key, Low Stress

This was our second trip to Anglers Reef, and our first time at this home. We had a great experience from booking to checkout. The property was exactly as we had expected, and everything was clean, well maintained, and stocked. We loved time on the deck spaces in both the morning and evening. We loved the gated, quiet neighborhood. The pool area is great with beautiful views. March is very windy in the Keys, but we were still able to fish, sit on the beach, and get some scuba diving in with Islamorada Dive Center, just down the road. Overall a great experience and we we surely book here again!

Keys adventure

We loved anglers reef! Our house was right on the water and equipped with everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed having a boat dock, kayaks and a nice pool complex. We would definitely stay there again.

Perfect Getaway at Anglers Reef

Steve's place was exactly as described and perfect for our winter getaway. Layout was great for our family and in-laws. Great pool and community amenities. Steve was a great host. Highly recommend!

Perfection! Exactly as Advertised

We had a terrific experience at Angler’s Reef and this property. It was completely as advertised. The house is very clean, up-to-date, and in the best location within the community. The beach and pool were well maintained, quiet, and terrific for our family. We would definitely come back!

Hard to beat

This property is going to be really hard to beat! This unit is closest to the water and just a few steps away from fishing right off the dock, which we did almost everyday. The community paddleboards and kayaks are great for exploring the shallow waters right off the beach. Kitchen is well-stocked, though we didn’t do much cooking this week. The appliances are in great condition, a nice big Viking fridge and a washer/dryer with a surprisingly large capacity for a stacked unit! Plenty of linens and towels for everyone. Publix is SO conveniently close that we made numerous stops throughout the week. Also very close to Theater of the Sea, multiple restaurants, and marinas for boat excursions. The property is clean, well kept, and hopefully we will be able to return soon! Thank you, Steve and Pat, for a fantastic week at your place!
