Unit 513 is located in the family friendly complex of Beachside Villas. This property is in a quiet neighborhood in the Eastern Lake area, one of our rare coastal dune lakes of South Walton.

You can relax comfortably in this 2-bedroom 2 bath ground floor condominium. The bedrooms in this redecorated vacation property exude a delightful beachy charm! The king master bed is calm and soothing. While the bright cheerful guest room with 2 full beds is suited to please both adults and children.

The unit is the 2nd building off the beach and steps away from the white sugary sand of the beaches of South Walton and the emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

If you’re ready for a beach day, head down to your access right at the end San Roy Road, about a 4-minute walk. Enjoy both the Gulf and Eastern Lake. This is a 2+ acre stretch of beach with plenty of room and is the recommended beach for your stay at Beachside Villas. And, for your convenience, Beachside Villas provides transportation to and from this beach access via golf cart service from March – October (please call us for specific dates).

Beachside Villas:
Beachside Villas has such a great family-friendly atmosphere. Enjoy a game of shuffleboard, tennis, or pickleball. You can even grab pickleball equipment at the onsite HOA office. Soak up the sun at either one of the 2 pools. One of the pools is heated seasonally. Grill up an amazing BBQ feast on one of the community charcoal grills. The location can't be beat - quiet and secluded but close to everything you'd want to do on your 30A vacation: fantastic restaurants, shops, golf courses, and bike rentals. Seaside and Rosemary Beach are just a few miles away.

Book Beachside Villas 513 and enjoy exclusive Xplorie perks! one ticket per day, per activity! (over $700 in nightly value) Experience axe throwing, ziplining, and sunset dolphin cruises. Play golf at Emerald Bay and Regatta Bay, enjoy Black Light Mini Golf, and have a blast at Urban Air Adventure Park. Your vacation will be more than just a stay—it’ll be an adventure!

An initial Benchmark signature box of amenities is provided for all guests. For the kitchen this includes: 1 roll of paper towels, 1 dish sponge, 1 dish soap, 2 dishwasher pods, 1 pack of kitchen wipes and liners for each trashcan plus 2 washing machine pods. For each bathroom it includes: 1 roll of toilet paper, 1 set of facial and bath soaps/body wash/shampoo/conditioner/lotion. For towels you will receive: 1 body towel/1 washcloth per guest and 2 hand towels per bathroom.

Amazing condo

This condo is spacious, clean, well decorated and had everything we needed. Steps from the beach, first floor unit, pond on site for fishing, close to everything -bike rentals, restaurants, shops, etc. we had an amazing time! Highly recommend this unit for families

Great condo!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. First of all, it was spotless- one of the cleanest beach condos I've ever stayed in. The beach access was very close and easy to get to. We used the provided tram a few times; it was always quick and efficient. It's also easy to walk down the beach to our access. The unit is as advertised. Plenty of space to sleep 4, even 6 if you really wanted. Parking was easy too. We had a great stay and would recommend!

Never have any problems with Beachside villas. Great location for everything, we bicycle to 2nd breakfast, grocery store, lunch, parks The Hub. Just love staying at the Beachside Villas for about 5 yrs now.

Great little place

Living area is small, but clean. There was no broom/dustpan but manager brought one the second time we called. Wifi is a weak and Verizon cell service is non-existent, so if you have Verizon, be aware that is a definite issue. Shuttle service to public beach was nice. Very clean and would consider staying here again.

I realize they were at the mercy of the company sending the replacement. We will try to stay here again next summer!

Easy walk to the beach , condo was dirty

This condo is not what it looks like online . Very small and this was the most dirt and grime we have ever seen in a condo. Also the handle broke off the fridge durning our stay . I requested a full refund once we saw the place , however I was denied. The dirt on the ceiling fan was over an inch deep. We spent a lot of money staying here and was disappointed that we had to clean this unit while we were on vacation, after the cleaning crew had been there .

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon arrival, the first thing we saw was a very stained couch. I took my shoes off and within the first 5 minutes, my feet were filthy. The floors and couch were not clean. Other than that, it was alright. Good location to 30A. You have to walk or ride the trolley a long ways to have beach access (the beach directly across from the villas is privately owned & you aren’t allowed to sit down there.) There were no oven mitts. One dish towel. We still had a good stay. Probably would rather stay somewhere cleaner with closer beach access though.

Overall We Enjoyed Our Stay, But...

However a few things that could have been improved upon... Start with arrival...we followed directions to the property just fine, 11 Beachside Dr. This is the address of the property, but also there is a bldg 11 that you come to almost immediately and we were to stay in building 5. now we figured it out fairly quickly when we couldn't find our unit in building 11, but we also called the "help" number and they had no idea why our unit wasn't in building 11 and told us they would research it by calling someone else and would call us back. this took quite a while, in the meantime we were sitting in a hot parking lot waiting. after a bit we decided to drive around the complex where we found building 5 and our unit (code worked on the door) so we were finally good to go. The phone call (without a resolution I might add) came several minutes AFTER we had already unloaded and set up. The unit was nice, not quite as clean as it should have been and no pillowcases for the extra pillows that were provided, but overall acceptable. Also, we found the master bed to be quite uncomfortable, but understand that bed comfort is an individual taste. Also, the front left burner of the stove seemed to not be working. We don't want to sound like we are just complaining. We really enjoyed our stay, but these things need to be said for an Honest review.

Love the starter packs of soap, lotion etc that Benchmark provides. However the King size bed is very squeaky and my husband nor I slept well because every time one of us turned, the bed squeaked and woke the other up. The shower curtain liner needs to be changed consistently it was slimy and had mildew on it. The sitting area and facility is not up to standard and a very small area but then again we were barely at the property.

Disappointed with Unit 513

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in unit 513 and would prefer not to stay there again. The lighting was not very good. It was dark and the light bulb was out on the lamp next to the master bedroom bed and the porch light was out too on arrival. Even if these worked the lighting would have still been very dim. Their were stains on both sofa cushions, guest room quilt and master bedroom quilt which just made things feel unclean. The floors looked clean but the bottoms of your feet turned black within minutes of walking on them. Are these mopped between guests? It certainly did not feel that way. I definitely did not want my child on the floor. There were also lots and lots of millipedes crawling around. The washer and dryer both had rust on them and you had to be extra careful not to rub your wet clothes against them when switching the laundry. The Wi-Fi worked about half the time and we were emailed the wrong code. There was broken glass in the kitchen cabinet so we had to clean that up too. The porch was also not clean and all the furniture was out of place.The bathrooms were extremely small. There is no counter space and it says that 6 people can stay there, but I would not recommend it. We were very cramped with 2 adults and a small child. There is not table and only seating for 5 people to eat.We have been visiting Beachside Villas for years and love the property and the beach. However, we were disappointed in this particular unit.

The Best Week!

We had family staying across from us in 612 and it was the perfect size and location for us to all gather for meals and to hang out. Super close to the beach as well as the pool. We rented a golf cart through Vacayzen (highly recommend) and were able to drive it to town and around to different activities. We will definitely be back.
