This studio condo is located at Surfside Resort, which offers one of the area's most outstanding locations with great on-site amenities and views of the Bay.

This 2nd floor unit is full of upgrades and can sleep up to 4 people. This beautiful unit has floor to ceiling windows providing magnificent bay and sunset views. The condo has 2 full sized beds, a flat screen TV, and a DVD player. This unit also has a microwave, mini-fridge, coffee maker, and toaster. This unit is sure to be your home away from home on one of the most beautiful, pristine beaches of the world!

In addition, Surfside Resort offers its own on-site dining at the Royal Palm Grille Restaurant featuring a great selection of meat and seafood entrees, sandwiches, salads, sushi bar, and a children's menu. All meal selections can be eaten in the dining room overlooking the beach, the sports bar, or even delivered to your room. The meals are wonderful and generous in size so bring your appetite!

Beach access is limited to Surfside Resort guests. There is an incredible pool deck featuring heated swimming pool, 2 Jacuzzi spas, kiddie pool, expansive pool deck, saunas and bath house. There is a pool side tiki-bar and beachside food service which is available to all guests.

Take advantage of the outdoor sports deck which includes 2 tennis courts, basketball court, volleyball and shuffleboard. Equipment can be check out from the on-site front desk. The fitness center is recently renovated and is available at no charge. Complimentary unlimited wireless internet is also available. A guest parking garage is available at Surfside Resort, 24 hour security and indoor hallways keep the family secure and out of the weather.

Surfside Resort is proud to be the first resort in the Destin area to offer fully fiber-optic internet. Every room is equipped with state-of-the- art Wi-Fi with the ability to connect up to 12 devices at guaranteed 100 mb up and down speeds.

Destin is home to several of the best championship golf courses in Florida such as Sandestin, Regatta Bay and Seascape Golf Course which is located directly behind the resort. Surfside Resort is located close to Destin’s best attractions, dining and shopping including Silver Sands Factory Outlet and Destin Commons.

Deceiving

The resort is not accessible at all. No elevators innthe garage. I have a young child that still requires a stroll and to get to the sidewalk of the garage there are steps too! To get to the beach with wagon or stroller is impossible from the resort. When you cross the street to beach access there is about 8 steps and it you take the sky walking bridge there is 5 flights!! Also the description of the room "full of upgrades" is very laughable. It was a standard room. The door to the balcony is very hard to open due to sand and dirt build up on the track, the trim.in the bathroom was rotting as the doorway, the tv was a big as a computer monitor and lastly the bedding was not clean.

I had to book at last moment. A lovely location on the Beach saves the day because our room was severely lacking. Electrical outlets only supported 2 devices. TV did not work. The one extension cord had the prongs bent flat. The sliding glass door to the balcony would not budge. The handle broke off when I tried it. The balcony , alone, would have made a positive review. Even the blinds to the balcony were broken in several spots. Some panels were missing. Morning sun woke me before 6 each morning. I sent in a maintenance request. Then I went through the reviews and saw the exact same issues listed for two years. Throw in the fact that the Host Fee was more than the room rate. Total booking was more than double the face value. Every other part of our trip was fabulous but the room (I had reasonably low expectations to start with-). It would behoove the owner to remedy these problem or lower the fee.

My biggest complaints are associated with the room we had. It was very old and dirty. Half the blinds were missing and the other half were broken so the morning sun made sleeping miserable and almost impossible. On top of anyone being able to see us undressed from the basketball court due to lack of privacy. The tv is more like a 18” computer monitor. nothing was plugged in, due to there not being enough outlets in the room. We could only have one charger plugged in to share. There was no toaster and no dishes as adversities. The beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable. The stay mentioned nothing about the chairs and umbrellas for the beach not being included as it seems everyone else who stayed at the resort, it was included. There are only 2 elevators in the entire resort which take FOREVER to catch. You are better off taking the stairs. I was not impressed with my stay and will not be booking again here.

Not as advertised

This property was not as advertised. The location was the best part about the entire week. The room in general was spacious enough, but the accommodations inside were not up to the advertisement. The beds had the flattest pillows on the planet. No duvet or comforters. One bed had two pillow shams that were badly faded and stained. They smelled of old baseball cap. They were placed on top of the flat pillows. The TV was a fraction of the size as listed. The room was not adequately cleaned and had old coffee in the coffee maker and no filters for later use. There was also no toaster as advertised. No hangers available on the hanger rods as advertised. The mattresses were very old. Springs were exposed underneath beds. Parts of plastic for the blinds were under one of the beds and lots of dust. The headboard was no longer attached. The closet doors swung and were barely in track. Most importantly, the safety door latch was broken. Outdoor patio was severely corroded with many rusty edges. Property management informed me that the reason for no bedding was due to Florida’s heat. I assured him that I have visited Florida over thirty times and every hotel or condominium included bedding. We had to purchase comforters and pillows at Walmart.

Very disappointing

When I arrived to the resort I was informed that the host failed to enter my reservation into the computer which almost resulted in me not having a parking pass or beach access. I then went to my room and was very disappointed by the following things… 1. The refrigerator didn’t start getting somewhat cold until my 3 day there. 2. The pillows were very flat and did not have pillow cases on all of them. 3. The tv is extremely small and would have been very difficult to see even from the bed if it had worked because I was not informed that there was no tv/cable in the room. There is a dvd player but no movies to watch so it made for a very quiet stay. 4. The room phone does not work at all. 5. The very heavy sliding glass door is off track and almost impossible to open and shut without risking getting a hernia or pulling a muscle!!! 6. There are several pieces of the blinds missing which also makes it impossible to have any privacy for dressing considering there’s always kids playing at the basketball court which is directly outside of the balcony door. 7. The water pressure in the shower was so powerful that it was almost painful. For as much money as I paid to stay in this room for 3 days, I expected it to be a little better.

Horrible Place!

This is the worst property I have ever rented. The ONLY good thing is the location. The property itself is very poorly maintained. The air duct vents are filthy. The balcony is not usable because the sliding glass door is EXTREMELY difficult to open and close. There was no toaster in the unit, which according to the description was supposed to be there. The binds on the sliding glass door are missing several strips and some of the other ones don’t go all the way to the floor, letting so much light in that it’s impossible to sleep past 6:30 am. The worst thing of all is that they never get back to you if you need to contact them. We tried reaching out to them 4 times and they never responded. My advice is look for other accomodations. AVOID this one

Room was fine but getting the blue arm bands was like asking someone for gold and the security was always on you about not having it.
