This extra-large studio condominium is located at Surfside Resort which offers one of the area's most outstanding locations with great on-site amenities and views of the Gulf of Mexico.

This 1st floor unit is full of upgrades and can sleep up to 4 people. The sleeping area has a king-sized bed There is a mini kitchen with a mini fridge, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. This beautiful unit has floor to ceiling windows providing an open floor plan concept with magnificent gulf and sunset views.

The living area has a flat screen TV, DVD player, queen sized sofa sleeper and complimentary high speed wireless internet, providing you with all the comforts of home. The condo has a unique floor plan with partial views of the Gulf of Mexico. The balcony gives you a view of beach as well as breathtaking sunset views. This unit is sure to be your home away from home on one of the most beautiful, pristine beaches of the world!

In addition, Surfside Resort offers its own on-site dining at the Royal Palm Grille Restaurant featuring a great selection of meat and seafood entrees, pizza, sandwiches, salads, sushi bar, and a children's menu. All meal selections can be eaten in the dining room overlooking the beach, the sports bar, or even delivered to your room. The meals are wonderful and generous in size so bring your appetite!

Beach access is limited to Surfside Resort guests. There is an incredible pool deck featuring heated swimming pool, 2 Jacuzzi spas, kiddie pool, expansive pool deck, saunas and bath house. There is a pool side tiki-bar and beachside food service which is available to all guests.

Surfside Resort is proud of the outdoor sports deck which includes 2 tennis courts, basketball court, volleyball and shuffleboard. Equipment can be check out from the on-site front desk. The fitness center is recently renovated and is available at no charge. Complimentary unlimited wireless internet is also available. A guest parking garage is available at Surfside Resort, 24-hour security and indoor hallways keep the family secure and out of the weather.

Surfside Resort is proud to be the first resort in the Destin area to offer fully fiber-optic internet. Every room is equipped with state-of-the- art Wi-Fi with the ability to connect up to 12 devices at guaranteed 100 mb up and down speeds.

Destin is home to several of the best championship golf courses in Florida such as Sandestin, Regatta Bay and Seascape Golf Course which is located directly behind the resort. I stay at Surfside every year. It’s a great condominium resort. My only issue with this unit was the master shower. The showerhead was not functioning properly and it didn’t drain so you stood in inches of water while showering.

Great location!!

We really enjoyed the location, and having private beach access and being on the first floor! I would suggest they get a new futon it was not great to sleep on it seemed like something g was broken underneath the cushion and the barstools at the table were broken. Other than that it was a great place to stay and had everything we needed and the cost was manageable. We will stay here again in the future!

The air did not work at all in the condo. There was no silverware. behind furniture and under the bed was filthy. The picture behind the table had ketchup all over it. The bed was absolutely horrible it is not possible to get a good nights sleep due to the bed sinking in. This condo could be very nice if kept up with.

Property was nice needs some cleaning done. And items need to be repaird in room. Previous reviews i read said itemes were broken in the room. And i figured they might have been fixed but they were not. And there were qutips and trash still all over. Would probably not stay here again

Although we got a great rate, state of room was poor. TV didn’t work, things in the place were in poor condition and assistance was non existent.

My husband could not get the tv to work. We sent a message, but no one ever came to look at it. Thecbed was terrible. It was bowed in the middle. Woke up every morning with a back ache. The owner wanted me to leave the air at 72 degrees. I'm menopausal. It was terrible. The patio doir was very hard to open and shut. We were very disappointed.

This unit was fine for being a lock out unit. However, the bar stool fell apart, as did the chairs on the patio. There were definitely some cleaning issues-bits and pieces of random dry food items-a piece of cereal, etc. There is Not a Keurig coffee pot as pictured-just a very tiny 5 cup pot. If these issues were addressed the unit would be great!

This unit needs some major repairs and upgrades. The only thing that was good was the location to the beach. Walking in we were almost hit with a broken closet door coming down on us. Unit wasn’t clean-only surfaced clean. Only one chair at the dining table. Decor drastically needs updating. Kitchen faucet didn’t work properly and sprayed you. Towels and linens looked and felt like there were 100 years old. I guess you get what you pay for as I was wondering why this unit was so much cheaper than the others in the area.

Accurate discription just just needs to be little more

Location and building great. Just needs to be usable space. The futon is not usable and the high stools not safe. The cable took 3 remotes to figure out how to get turned on right. Two of nights no tv. Toilet continuously ran had to shut door to keep sound down Refrigerator doesn’t have enough space to put leftovers Price great location great.

Great Location Property Needs Work

Firstly the location of this property and the overall amenities of the resort were awesome. The saying you get what you pay for applies here. The rental was lacking. The overall appearance was late 90s. The bed was not even the quality of a bed in box from Walmart. If you plan on sleeping anyone on the futon it’s not going to happen. It was the most uncomfortable thing just to sit on much less sleep on.Br

Listing not reflective of property

The unit was so bad I left 2 days early and stayed at hotel. I contacted the owner regarding the problems, the response was not favorable. Here is a list of the problems: outlets not working, sparks flew out and my laptop was fried, dirty bedding, dirty floors (I had to wear my shoes), blinds to patio broken, unit was not at the front of the building, grout in bathroom eroded so tiles were popping up and cutting feet, closet door broken off and shoved in closet, bathroom light burnt out. I have booked with VRBO multiple times. I have never had a problem and have had favourable ratings. I am so disappointed. I was out a laptop and close to $500 for a two night hotel stay

This was one of the worst stays I’ve ever experienced. The property had black mold, a strong musty odor, and clear water damage throughout. The pillows were dirty, there was hair all over the floor, and a futon with what looked like white stains — completely unsanitary. One of the beds was broken, and overall, the place felt neglected and poorly maintained.When we reached out about the issues, the hosts were slow to respond and dismissive, offering no real solution. It was frustrating and honestly concerning to see how little they cared about the health and comfort of their guests.Do yourself a favor and skip this listing. No one should have to deal with mold, filth, or such poor communication on what’s supposed to be a relaxing getaway. We ended up not using the rental and are currently fighting them for a refund.

Once all the issues were handled we had a good time.

We booked the room then wete informed that the microwave and toaster oven did not work. Therecwas not a stove so we hand no way to prepare food. They were also not willing to compensate us in any way. When we arrived at 5:00 the room had not been cleaned. It took about 2 hours before it was finally cleaned. So it was after 7:00 pm before we could actually check in. The next issue was we were supposed to have arm bands to be on property, use the pool/beach ect. They were also missing. I was told to talk with the HOH and of course he was not available! The blinds to the sliding glass door didn't fully work. You could move then from open to close but not back and forth out of the way. The property is great but it was one issue after another.

DONT STAY HERE

Save yourself the hassle of dealing with a garbage property manager because you WILL run into issues. I wish I was kidding. My husband and I are pretty relaxed and can overlook a lot of things, but this rental was just too much. When we walked in, right away we saw the wallpaper was coming off the walls and the floor was dirty (toenail clippings, hair, dead bugs). The balcony lock didn't work. This is a first floor rental, so it would be different if people couldn't access your balcony. The king bed has broken slats under the mattress. When anyone sits on it, they sink down into an actual hole where the broken boards are. They have temporary velcro straps trying to "fix" it, but they're broken. So they knew this was an issue and didn't fix it. It makes a delightful sound that echoes in the tiny room. On to the futon! My 2 kids were planning on sleeping on this because the listing said the futon sleeps 2 people. Whenever you try to lay on it when it is in the "bed" position, it would fold up like a taco. We had to strategically place the kids so they could keep the bed open without them getting crushed. It was extremely annoying. I messaged the property manager the first day to let them know this unit was not only unsafe, but not clean or comfortable upon arrival. The property manager told me they would send a cleaning crew my phone number. Great! I got a phone call from a company telling me they're located in Panama City so they wanted to be sure it was absolutely necessary that they come. I said yes because it was pretty gross. They told me they'd call me back in 10 minutes. No follow up call so we cleaned it. Maintenance got in touch with me to fix the issues 2 days after we got there. AWESOME! Except when she arrived, she told us she's been there many times to put a bandaid on the beds. She told us she couldn't do anything about the beds anymore because they're beyond repair and need to be replaced. She told the property manager the same thing. I have screenshots of this message. When I reached out to the property manager later on in the day (because I didn't hear from them), they told me maintenance fixed the issues. When I told them what maintenance told me, I got no response. Nothing! The last night the AC froze up/stopped working so the vents dripped on the futon all night. We slept like crap the entire stay. I really hope no one books this in the future. It made our stay horrible. It needs new beds and a new manager! I regret booking here

When we arrive AC not working on a 98 degree day Ac finally repaired by 10 pm so could not use condo

I asked property managers if everything thing worked before I rented condo was told yes because a previous review said AC had issues. Will never rent again because ac after repaired at day of check in 6 hours later it still took 6 to 8 hrs for condo to cool down.

Will not stay here again

Air conditioning did not work Handle on door to balcony was completely missing Room description was inaccurate I’ve stayed in this area for over 20 years and have NEVER left a bad review in any unit except this one!!!
