Family & Pet Friendly, Enjoy a Relaxing Vacation in Tahoe

Our three-bedroom, three-bath, Lake Tahoe Vacation Rental is located off of Pioneer Trail/Washoan Drive in South Lake Tahoe. Our cabin is CLEAN with upgraded furnishings and amenities. Per our VHR permit with El Dorado County, maximum occupancy is 6 people, and that includes children over 6 years old. Casa Tahoe's location, is in a QUIET neighborhood, just 6 miles from Heavenly Ski Resort, Stateline Casinos, and Lake Tahoe, making it a perfect all-season getaway for couples or your entire family. And don't forget about the family dog! Please note that Casa Tahoe does not have A/C, when we replace our furnace we will likely get it but at this point, we have ceiling fans in all the upstairs rooms.

We are a family and pet-friendly property. We have a teenager and a Labrador, so the cabin has been stocked for their enjoyment and our ease of staying there ourselves. We have a portable high chair (attaches to a chair), portable crib, baby bath, books, movies, and games appropriate for ages toddler through adult.

Your well-behaved pet is welcome. Our backyard is fully enclosed by a 6-foot chain-link fence. Your dog will appreciate the dog bed and treats we always keep at the cabin. We often take our dog for a walk down to the Upper Truckee River or on the Forest Service Trail starting just a block from the cabin.

Our nearest ski resort is Heavenly, which is easily accessible by taking Pioneer Trail to Ski Run Drive or drop off at the Gondola which is a quick right onto Highway 50 once you are at the top of Pioneer Trail. Our location allows you to avoid the traffic on Highway 50 to reach Heavenly. It is also convenient to Sierra at Tahoe and Kirkwood by avoiding the traffic north of Pioneer Trail. Take advantage of the beginning ski classes at these great ski resorts for your kids or daycare available while you enjoy the slopes. (Please note many of the Tahoe Ski Resorts require an ADVANCE reservation due to COVID capacity restrictions, be sure to check their website before travelling to Tahoe to ski). Close to the cabin are locations for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. Some of our neighbors start their cross-country skiing excursions in the meadow behind our cabin. There are also sleds in the garage for your use should you want to visit a local sledding park.

Amenities like our wood-burning stove add to the ambiance of this Lake Tahoe Cabin Rental. And yes, you can use the outside grill in the winter!

Our back deck affords a relaxing view of the mountains or just stay in the living room as the full-length windows provide you with a view.

If gambling is your game, the casinos are located at Stateline, just a few miles up Pioneer Trail, or enjoy the many extra amenities we provide for your entertainment at the cabin such as cable TV, games, books, Wii, and an extensive DVD library. We have high-speed internet but bring your own laptop for cable hookup or wireless. (SORRY COMPUTER NOT PROVIDED).

We've thought of everything you will need to make your stay at Casa Tahoe comfortable and easy. We provide many extra amenities such as quality linens and a kitchen equipped with top-quality cookware and appliances. The cabin is tastefully decorated with new furniture and bedding and our downstairs recreation room provides a special get-away for the teens.

Please note our South Lake Tahoe Cabin is located in a very quiet, peaceful, wooded neighborhood. Sound carries far in this high-altitude air, so we ask our guests to keep their voices down while using the back deck. Deck and backyard use is restricted between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM (El Dorado County Vacation Rental Owners Regulation). We also strictly enforce the maximum occupancy to comply with El Dorado County Vacation Rental Owners Regulations. If you send us a reservation request please tell us a little more about your group. Ages of the members of your group, activities that you will be doing while in South Lake Tahoe, where your group is traveling from, etc. Our cabin is in a quiet neighborhood with permanent residents who enjoy the tranquility of their homes and we want to make sure that Casa Tahoe is a good fit for your family or group.

PLEASE NOTE, we require our guests to maintain quiet hours, limited hot tub use hours, no smoking, and you must be age 25 or greater to enter into a rental agreement. We will be emailing you a rental agreement for you to sign and return along with other paperwork. Your reservation will be complete once you return to us your signed rental agreement, a list with the contact information of all adult members of your group (both El Dorado County requirements) and a copy of a government-issued ID, a picture of your driver's license sent from a smartphone would be fine.
