WE ARE BACK - Great Location right off Lake Tahoe Blvd only 1 block to the lake. An all INCLUSIVE family cabin that you will love. 1700+ sq ft with 3 bedrooms 2 baths on two floors. Heavenly Ski Resort is 1.5 miles - South Shore Casinos are 2 miles.

Upstairs is the very large master bedroom (20x22) with a king bed & twin daybed, jetted tub & separate shower with a lot of privacy from the rest of the house. Downstairs is 2 bedrooms ( one queen and two twins). A full bath, kitchen with dining area and living room. Great for the whole family to hang out. Read our review's for all that we provide.
This home is in great condition and well equipped for your family stay. The kitchen has granite counter tops, gas cook top, dishwasher, disposal, double ovens & all the cookware you will need. All the cooking basics are provided. Plenty of dishes, wine glasses, mixing bowls - everything you need for a comfortable family stay.
Individual gas heating & thermostats in each room. The living room and kitchen are a beautiful warm knotty pine. On cold winter nights enjoy the warmth of the wood stove. All bedding & linens provided. Kitchen is well stocked with the basics and a few extra's (toaster, waffle, coffee, blender etc). Bathrooms have blow dryers and great shampoo's for your use, no need to pack soaps or other basics - we stock that for you. The backyard features a large deck great for BBQ’s and entertaining or just lounging around. WI-FI in the cabin and good channel line-up on the TV.
Walk to the Lake as well as the wonderful community center it is a great bonus winter or summer - yes year round services - This center has a regulation ICE RINK, POOL, Basketball, GYM & Tennis - Amazing level of services right in the neighborhood - this complex has it all. Excellent neighborhood for walking and biking. A 1 mile circular route starts at our back deck for a nice morning or evening walk and great for a kids play area.

We really appreciated cleanliness, TVs in 2 of the rooms plus in living area, large master bedroom upstairs! Loved how cabinets were labeled and appreciated the basic household items were provided.

Clean, quiet, spacious, comfortable and central house that had the feel of a cabin in the woods even though it’s located in downtown Tahoe. Could walk to shops and restaurants. Hostess was very kind and responsive and the house was very well stocked with necessities.

Charming Cabin

Definitely will rent this beautiful cabin again! My family and I spent most of the time relaxing in this cozy home. Everything was very clean and organized. Can't wait to book this house again!

Perfect stay in South Lake Tahoe cabin

We enjoyed a perfect stay in this South Lake Tahoe cabin during Thanksgiving week. We felt very safe thanks to the very efficient check in process in place. Location was great, a short drive to Heavenly California lodge. All the amenities provided were great and the communication with the landlord has been very helpful.

Great location and a cozy cottage

Loved our stay. Cozy and comfortable cottage at a great location. Very close to the lake (short 5 minute walk to the beach). Attention to details on what the guests need with many essential supplies provided in the cabin. Joe and Vikki were responsive and provided timely information. Thank you!!

Can't recommend this enough!

Had an absolute blast of a trip! Our only regret was that we did not book this place for longer. Perfect for families, very clean and tidy, the neighborhood is located in a patch of pine woods, at the same time you have safeway/small restaurants within walking distance, also it's a very short walk to the lake shore. Looking forward to return!

Oh my Gosh, where do I start??! First, the house is ADORABLE...super cozy, super clean, very comfortable. Second, we had a bit of an emergency during our stay and Vikki was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! I cannot express our gratitude enough for all she did for us during this scary time. We wish things would've gone to plan on our part, but all in all, we had a fantastic time. We will be back...hopefully sooner, rather than later [depending on my father's recovery time]. A+++ Vikki, you are an amazing human being and we will never forget what you've done for us!

Location, conveniences, and comfort!

Location, location, location! Great location for South Shore! The description is on point! Rae's cabin is so thoughtfully put together; the emergency closet fro those last minute supplies you realize you thought you packed but forgot (at bedtime and you realize you forgot your toothpaste- no worries!), the kitchen is supplied by someone who knows what is needed in a kitchen, and the bedrooms and bathrooms are not small. I would like to mention that the jacuzzi tub saved my aching body after the two hour bike ride plus hour walk I did with my teenage son - revival!!!! AND if you happen to be a tall person, the upstairs shower head is for a tall person (you know what I mean!!!), and might I say that the shower has enough space to actually bend and wash your limbs. I have stayed at places where the shower stalls are so narrow you can barely get your hands above your shoulders - not here! The water pressure is terrific, too, and the hot water comes quick. The owners are terrific, and quick with communication! Thank you for an unforgettable vacation home for us. Your home is filled with happy memories, not just your family, but now ours as well! Thank you!!!

Perfection!

We couldn’t have asked for a better cabin to stay in while at Lake Tahoe. It was cozy, comfortable and clean! The beds were very comfortable we slept well after hikes and swimming . The best part was this cabin had everything you needed while away from home. I developed a blister on my foot and sure enough there was a first aid kit and a needle I used to lance it and doctor it up. I was so grateful. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Tahoe. Thanks again!

Perfect cabin for a weekend getaway

The cabin was just as described, very clean and very cozy. The house was stocked with amenities and was perfectly located to right by the lake. Super convenient walk to Safeway and not too far from downtown. I would definitely recommend staying here in both the summer and winter seasons!

Cozy Cabin by the Lake

Rae’s cabin is clean, comfortable and well-stocked - you only need to pack your clothes and snow or beach gear! The bathrooms have hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, fluffy bath towels and blow dryers. The kitchen has all the equipment you need to prepare all your meals. The upstairs master suite is bigger than my studio apartment, and the bed is a dream to sleep in. The jetted 2-person tub in the en suite bathroom came in handy after a full day of snowboarding! Both downstairs bedrooms also have comfy beds and the cozy living area was a favorite for our group to HealthEd and share the days’ stories. The location is perfect - walk to the lake, take a short drive to Heavenly’s California Lodge or to the casinos. We enjoyed our stay and hope to book another long weekend at Rae’s cabin someday soon!

Amazing vacation at the cabin

I stayed at the cabin with family and friends over the winter vacation 2019 and had an amazing time. The property was exactly as described. The rooms were clean and had all amenities that one would need for a relaxed vacation. Vikki and Joe were super communicative and they have stocked the cabin pretty well. Our guests forgot some essentials and we found extra pair of gloves thoughtfully made available. The kitchen is well stocked. We had a great time specially the kids. The location was super convenient. Thanks Vikki and Joe. Looking forward to stay again this year.

This cabin was purchased in 2009 by 3 sisters. The cabin is for family gatherings throughout the year. Our family has many snowboarders and skiers as well as everyone's love of the beaches in Lake Tahoe. We look forward to creating many happy memories at this home. I know your family will enjoy it as much as we do.

Location, Location, Location - We wanted something that was close to the lake but allowed us to be close to restaurants and shopping. The Bijou neighborhood gives us all that and more. This is a wonderful neighborhood to take long walks or hop on the bike trail across the street. Having the Bus/Shuttle service right down the street you can get almost anywhere in town. Use of the community center is a major bonus for adults and kids - a year round facility

Back to our Location: The Beach (down the street) , skiing (Heavenly is 1.5 miles) , biking (the trail is across the street) , Casino & downtown 2.0 miles, pools & Ice Skating (across the street), Tennis everything is right in the neighborhood. El Dorado Beach at the end of our street is beautiful and hosts the summer concert series and provides all the lake toy rentals you need. Community center is right down the street. Stateline casino's are 2.0 miles. Shopping is just around the corner - you cannot beat this location or our great pricing. WI-FI installed. Uber available in South Lake Tahoe as well so very easy to get around.
