ā€œCome visit this rustic and retro unit perfect for any mountain vacation. This two-level condo has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the entry level of the home both with queen beds in each. Up the stairs youā€™ll find a trundle day bed that sleeps 2 as well as a sleeper sofa and a full-sized bathroom. The bottom level is the living quarters with a large open style kitchen fully stocked with appliances, as well as a retro style living room with a large smart TV! The private deck outside is the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine in the cool mountain air. With much to do on the mountain you might not want to stay in the house long! There's hiking, biking, skiing, and more for every season. Come take a break or enjoy adventure while using our quaint little home. ā€œ

Comfy and Convenient

This spacious home was prefect for our group! The location canā€™t be beat and the property managers were more than friendly and accommodating! Would definitely recommend!

Looks a lot better than the pictures!

We were surprised how nice it was! Huge place, with 3 stories and lots of room for our 3 couple trip! It was only a 5 minute drive to the mountain. The interior was a bit outdated but it made it unique for sure. Would stay here again!!

Good time

It was clean. It is dated and needs updating but most the time your on the slopes. So if youā€™re looking for a place to getaway at a great price. Then this is it. Can walk about 100ā€™ to 150ā€™ the top of the bunny slope.

Great location

Great location and access to Beech Mountain Resort. Nice size rooms for our family of 7. Management company very helpful and great to work with. Property in need of updating. Hot tub not working with construction items out in the open. New window blinds needed for privacy in the bedrooms.

Great house!

The house was so nice! Not exactly 3 bedroom, the third was a loft area w a bed and TV, but more than adequate for the 4 of us. My 11 year old did have trouble walking back to the house from the ski area. It was pretty steep and a little harder to navigate than we had hoped. Overall a great stay, though!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place itself was nice, but there was not a single fan in the place with no AC. It was an oven in there. The back sliding door also had no screen so we couldn't leave it open overnight with bugs. There was a single ceiling fan, but that was it. Half of the windows were taped and were unable to be opened. We have stayed at a lot of places in the mountains and they always had fans. The whole reason to come up here is to escape the 95 degree heat. It was nice outside but an oven inside.The dishwasher was also full (albeit clean dishes) when we got there. I expected more when you pay all these extra fees.I would not recommend

Not a good experience

Dog and cat hair throughout, old used bandaid on the floor, tabes had food stuck to them. The only vacuum in the place shot out dust from being used on the broken hot tub that was still being worked on / renovated with tools and duct tape left out. Told my kids to stay away from that room as no way to know if a loose wire would shock them or they would step on a nail. Called the manager to ask for a vacuum that worked so we could clean the unit our selfs and they never brought us one, or sent cleaning staff to re clean. One bathroom toilet was plugged and had to plunger it after each use to get it to flush. The sink in the other bed room was backed up so after brushing our teeth it stayed filled with water and toothpaste. We checked out early and notified the property management company of all the issues, all they said was ā€œyou must not have talked to me when you called or I would have sent someone to fix itā€. Buyer beware

Very unhappy with the rental

I am sad to say that this was the most disappointed vacation rentals that I have ever been involved in. There were numerous issues that I addressed with the property manager and the handyman on our first day, have sent multiple emails (with photos) and left voicemails requesting a partial refund with no response. The worst part of this situation is that the reviews of this property going back for two years have all included the same issues. Clearly, the property management company and the ownsers refuse to acknowledge and/or improve the conditions of the condo which are as follows: 1. The only smoke alarm on the premises being ripped off of the wall and not functional. 2. The garbage disposal being broken and the kitchen sink not draining properly. 3. The carpeting being filthy and containing large amounts of dog fur, some balls of the fur as large as my hand. 4. The bathroom tubs not functioning properly and being unable to fill the tubs. 5. The stand up, oscillating fan in a bedroom being filthy and matted with a large amount of dirt, dust, and again dog fur. 6. The door to the heavy wooden armoire being broken, falling off when I opened it and hitting me in the head. 7. A large amount of the vertical blinds in both bedrooms and the sliding glass doors in the kitchen being broken and/or missing leaving your renters vulnerable and exposed. 8. A window in one of the bedrooms being broken and off of the tracks, a shorty attempt at repair had been made with painters tape to fix the large gap of exposure to the outside. 9. The hot tub area being both filthy and a clear and present danger to your renters. The area contains trash and is covered with a layer of dirt and dust.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This chalet was full of character! It was spacious and clean, and had one of the more well-stocked kitchens that I have ever seen. It is old, it has not been updated, but it was cozy and fun, and the fireplace worked very well. It is not a luxurious space, but when itā€™s less than $200 a night, you have to adjust expectations. The proximity to the slopes was perfect. An easy walk from the house to ski. A plus is that every bedroom space has its own bathroom. It looks a 1980s ski chalet, which is exactly what it is. So no complaints there. We would definitely stay again. The management company was very responsive. We needed more towels the first night there, and it was late and dark, I sent an email for towels for the next day, and I got them within 30 minutes of sending the email.

Broken window, with 20degree breeze blowing on you as you try sleep. 6 people in the house and only one person can take a shower every 3 hours. There is a 2x2 whole in the living room floor, with kids and big adults, we had block off half the room. Canā€™t sleep downstairs, cause the freaking bed upstairs is so loud. Completely out dated, unsafe, uncomfortable and honestly I would like a full refund. Oh ya when we arrived there was still poop in the toilet.

To be paying over $200/night, the place should have been in a much cleaner condition.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location is great. Across the street and down some steps to the terrain park. Large cabin and plenty of room. Cabin is dated and there was some work that appeared to be going on with siding and hot tub. That was not a problem. I can live with old. But, clean is a must and this one was not. Linens were clean and in good shape. That is where it ended. Kitchen cabinets were full of crumbs and the counter tops had sticky stuff and rings from cups. Back of counters and around appliances were covered in dust. Had not seen a wet rag in a good long time. The dishwasher had been ran. But, not emptied. Tables were dusty and had crumbs n cup rings. Inside of shower curtain was moldy and gross. Baseboards and corners dusty and gross. Just needed a good deep clean. Looked like a little less than the bare minimum was all it had gotten foe a really long time. I took some high school boys & they donā€™t care. But, if girls, we would not have stayed. I walked around with Clorox wipes all weekend. I have some lodging background and also a few cabins in Tennessee that we have on rental programs. I would die, if I found them in this condition. Also, it is $5 to take your own trash off. Not a problem. But, rental company could charge and include the permit in your paperwork. Or, at least tell you. No mention of it. So, once I got to the reculycle center snd sat in line, I was turned away. Had to go back up the street, park and go in the store to buy the permit. Then, sit in line again. Would save some hassle foe guests if rental company would at least note the procedure. Other people had been charged foe and provided with the permit in their lodging paperwork. That doesnā€™t seem like too much hassle for the management company and would save guests some confusion and about 20 minutes when departing.

Great stay perfect condo

Pictures online and description were right on. Place was perfect for our family. Places older and not renovated but we didnā€™t mind. It sleeps 6 and could easily have a blowup mattress for 2 more. Right in center of everything. One of the Beech man ski slopes is across the street. Rental agency was easy to coordinate with. Accessible t everything
