Prominence Beach Access Points:

Beach Access to the West

Deer Lake State Park - Deer Lake is the most popular and the closest beach access to Prominence and is located .6 miles away. While it is popular, there are a few things to keep in mind: There is a small parking area at the access (approx. $3 for parking). The walk from the parking area to the beach is a bit longer than most area accesses but offers beautiful views of the dunes and great photos.

Walton Dunes - Walton Dunes is about 2 miles to the west at the end of Beachfront Trail. This is a Walton County beach access with parking and short distance to the beach.

Santa Clara - Santa Clara access is a Walton County beach access located near Bramble Grove Road, about 3.5 miles to the west of Prominence. *This is the scheduled stop for the Prominence shuttle. Parking and bathrooms are also available at the Santa Clara access. If you take the shuttle, please note that the hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Beach Access to the East:

Gulf Lakes - The Gulf Lakes access is a Walton County beach access located about .5 miles to the east of Prominence. This is a small access and can be easily missed. Parking is not available, but makes for a great bike ride to the beach.

Sea Breeze - Sea Breeze is a Walton County beach access that is just past the Gulf Lakes access. Parking and bathrooms are not available at this access, however, there is a shower.
