Our villa, Shore Thing, is associated with the Litchfield by the Sea resort. Easy access to the gated resort's beach club awaits! Rated 9th best beach in the USA! Bike, run, walk, surf, sail, swim, sun, boat, paddle, fish, golf, yoga, beach comb, etc...it's here!

The Space:

You will find yourself unwinding upon arrival at this private, 4 bedroom, 3 full bath villa built at ground level with no stairs. There are 3 covered walk-out patios - 1 screened and 2 with fairway view (The Reserve).

Bike to 2 of SC's premier attractions: Brookgreen Gardens and Huntington Beach State Park (see more under Property). About 70 yards to the Greenhaven pool. About a half mile to the beach club gates.

Special Activities:

The best beach AND the best golf destination in SC!

Brookgreen Gardens - Breathtaking sculpture garden and wildlife preserve - 3 miles, a great bike ride!

Huntington Beach State Park - Home of some of the most beautiful birds in the world! Also home of Atalaya, a SC landmark, the home of Archer and Anna Hyatt - 3 miles, a great bike ride.

Murrells Inlet Marsh Walk - in the heart of the historic fishing village of Murrells Inlet. A 1 mile wooden boardwalk along a natural saltwater estuary. Dotted with restaurants. Live music and entertainment throughout the week. Seafood Capital of South Carolina. 4 miles, bike-able too.

The Tradition golf course is directly across the street.

Host Favorite - Walk to Quigley's for a great Happy Hour menu and a delicious pint.

Historic Georgetown (13 miles) and Charleston (68 miles). Plantation tours and tons of history.

Getting around:

Driving is very easy around our resort area and the adjacent shopping/dining. The walking/bike paths are beautiful and connect to all of the interesting features within a 5 to 10 mile radius.

Shore Thing is 36 minutes from Myrtle Beach International Airport and the arcades of Myrtle Beach.

Bike rentals are available at Cyclopedia, a 20 min walk, or ask about delivery service.

Motorcycles are not allowed in our resort community. If you rent one please make arrangements to overnight it at the dealer's. Unfortunately the resort does not allow trailers or RVs either.

Property was extremely comfortable for our 7 person party!!! Rooms were oriented such that everyone had their own space & privacy. The property was very homey & the amenities were accurately conveyed. Beach access was provided & allowed permission to a beautiful area!!!! There were also plenty of great restaurants s & shopping areas in very close proximity. I highly recommend this property!

We had such a great time. House was clean, plenty of towels (including beach towels) provided. Great location and perfect for our two families to stay comfortably. State park pass was an added bonus. Would recommend without hesitation!

We had a fantastic family trip to Pawley’s Island this summer, and we found a gem when we stumbled upon this beautiful home! The decor was lovely, beds were comfortable, showers had fantastic water pressure, kitchen was well stocked, and overall the house was very spacious. The location was perfect, especially with access to the Litchfield Beach Club. We played pickleball every morning, relaxed on the beach in the afternoon, and regathered at the house for family dinner and board games in the evening. We never had to worry about finding a parking spot with the beach club access, and the walk from the car to the beach was quick and easy. It was very helpful and appreciated to have access to beach chairs, towels, and a pop-up tent in the unit. We took good care of the equipment and hopefully future guests will do the same. The house had everything we needed, and the hosts were very responsive when questions came up. After a minor mixup in calendar dates, the host responded quickly and took care of us without issue. It was nice to be so close to the Food Lion, which we frequently visited throughout the week. I might recommend having an extra trash bag or two and maybe some extra laundry detergent and dishwasher detergent. The pool access on property was also nice, and if we would have had our golf clubs, I trust the course would’ve been lovely as well. We will most definitely return to Litchfield Beach!

Perfect Getaway for family or friends gathering!

We had four adult couples in town for a wedding. It was PERFECT for us. Just a short drive to the beach, which was accessible as part of the stay. Pool was a few steps from the condo. Pickleball and Tennis courts also available near the beach.Place was very clean and tidy!

Volleyball tournament getaway

This property was amazing and perfect for what we needed. I love the 4bdrms and the spacing of those 4bdrms. 2 of them were in their own space (which my 17yo loved). I can't say enough about this property. All the comforts of home were provided. Pete provided lots of information about the property, restaurants, and activities. The access to the beach was beautiful. I have stayed in MB every year for the last 25 years. I only want to stay in Pawley's island specifically Shore Thing (lol) going forward.

Very comfortable

Owners made our stay more enjoyable by sending us a list of things to do and restaurant recommendations, all were delicious bistro 21and Franks a must not miss eat in the bar.

Perfect Getaway

What a nice place to rest your head, relax and enjoy the beach. Everything you could possibly need for a beach getaway was provided. This is such a nicely appointed and roomy retreat. Peter could not have been a better host!

Excellent!

Property in great condition, host provided many extras not listed, the attention to detail was noticed. Having access to Litchfield by the Sea beach is beyond compare. Host was awesome and very responsive, though we didn’t need a single thing, they exceeded expectations!

Sisters vacation

The property was very clean. The host Peter was very nice and gave a lot of good information on good things to do. Good location you can walk or ride your bike to the beach or drive. Grocery store close by. All beach amenities were clean free from rust and put to good use

Great place for a short get away weekend

Clean and comfortable!

Loved having use of nice beach chairs and umbrella! Boogie board etc. Having beach access was a great perk. We enjoyed the tennis courts! Condo no longer had any tables inside. We would come back!

Relaxing location by the beach

Very pleasant. Just right for the 3 of us. Close to the beach. Nice to have use of the pool before/after time at beach. Would definitely come back next year

Excellent location, clean, attractive well-appointed unit

We stayed while attending a family reunion and it couldn't have been a better fit for us. Great location near North Litchfield, super clean, thoughtfully supplied with everything we needed. Host Peter was gracious and supplied all the information we needed via text. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful little condo with all the amenities!

This place was spotless, decorated beautifully, located near Litchfield which has the best beach and close to many excellent restaurants. The host shared his access to the community amenities and provide use of all the things you would need. Great hosts, friendly and attentive. We hope to come back soon and will definitely try to stay here again!

Wonderful stay - highly recommend!

This is a beautiful suite; perfect for us. We wanted a non-hotel stay that afforded us a living room, separate bedroom area with bath. This was exactly what we wanted. Extremely well-kept and the amenities provided by the owner were very thoughtful such as beach gear, dispenser in shower, bottled water, Kcups, super-soft linens and the list goes on! We only needed the King bed; however, there is another bed available in the Living Room. 2 TV's, cable and movies; great internet. Suite was located close to the beach, shopping and numerous restaurants. Will definitely return in hopes of vacationing instead of caring for a family member. Highly recommended!

We fell in love with the Litchfield Beach section of the Myrtle Beach Grand Strand because it has the best beach, beautiful forests and abundant wildlife. The pace of life is easy going. We chose our home location for the extensive walking/biking paths that lead to restaurants, shopping and some of the nicest attractions in the south.
