Fall/Winter books open! Listen to waves by the pier and feel the soft breeze at this water access new constructed cottage a fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, and many other comforts from home. The home has a private pier into Core Sound. The homes has 3 full bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Perfect for families, friends, or couples. Enjoy the comforts and privacy of home while having access to Outer Banks of NC & Cape Lookout, Beaufort, Morehead City, and Atlantic Beach.

The cottage is located in a small fishing village known for great fishing in the spring, summer and fall. The duck hunting is renowned in the winter months. We have beautiful weather for boating, kayaking and just lazy summer days. Carteret County has many festivals year round that visitors love to participate in. The home is close to Cape Lookout, Historical Beaufort, Morehead City, Atlantic Beach, and Fort Macon. This location would also be great for wedding venues or as a reception, please contact us for further details

Guests will have access to the entire home as well as the driveway and front yard. They will also have access to the pier.

Guests can call, text or email if they have questions.

The cottage is close to the beach, ferries, aquarium, restaurants, parks and museums.

Automobiles are best to travel in around the area.
Water can be accessed by any water toy. There is also a ferry close by.

Guests should bring water shoes, life jackets if needed and don't forget sunscreen!
- Hunting dog allowed outside in a kennel or in the storage shed
- No crib provided

-There is a non-refundable fee of $105 for the first pet and $35 for the second.

Stay at Cottage in Davis NC.

Nice cottage with full amenities. The cottage was nice and pleasant to stay in. The local people are very helpful and make you feel like you have lived there all your life. Could not ask for a better overall experience! I highly recommend this place to anyone wishing to have a restful stay and the scenery is absolutely beautiful!

Great house!

The house was great and plenty of room for the 5 of us. We brought a boat and left it tied at the dock which is a short walk down the road. Plenty of water even at low tide. Thanks to the property owner. We enjoyed it!

Spring Break 2023

The home and Kim are great to work with. Any questions were answered prompt. Would recommend this home for any one wanting to explore Cape Lookout and surrounding area. Would stay at this property again. We had a great time.

The home is nice and well stocked. The owner is very responsive and helpful. I read other reviews but we were disappointed that there are no waterviews from the home. There is access to a dock at the end of the lane the homeis on, however the steps are wooden and covered in barnacles.aWe would stay agai

Family Vacation

This was the first time we used VRBO and it was a great experience. The only drawback is the water. We washed a load of clothes, and a light colored shirt came out brown. Otherwise we truly enjoyed ourselves! The water issue will not keep us from using VRBO again. Can't wait for next trip.

Sister's Vacation

The property & location were as advertise. The property needs a very detailed cleaning! There was people & pet hair on everything in the house. One of the bathrooms had not been cleaned at all. I own a cleaning business & have for over 20+ years. I would return & refer others to come, as long as the cleaning is done. Give me a call if you want that Detail Cleaning! Ms. T. Saunders

I will check with cleaner as we just had a through spring cleaning. We use a professional cleaning and pest company on all our rentals. Feel free to visit one of our properties again.

Nice house. A little further from the location the property was originally listed for. Quiet area which was really nice and relaxing. Owner was easy to communicate with and answered all questions.

I am glad you enjoyed your stay. We try to help people have a relaxing enjoyable place to visit on their vacation. The water, water access and private pier are down a private lane about 100-200 yards from home.

Fun time

We had plenty of fun at this location. Quite and pleasant. We needed a break from the hectic life and we're looking for a quiet place where we could enjoy nature and be with ourselves and this was perfect for a short stay. Kids enjoyed fishing at the pier. short walks, horse patting. The nearest beach is 30 mins away. Couch and Rugs had Dog hair but it did not bother us. We enjoyed the place. Very nice Owners and that mattered a lot. I would recommend this place.

Friends meet in the middle in Davis, NC

Home was very clean and as listed. Location was as listed in a quiet area. Easy access and comfortable for the 4 of us. A/C was working but could use some tweaking. Not all rooms were equally cooled. But we enjoyed our time together.

House is decent, nicely staged, area not so nice

Owners are nice and helpful. The house is good for in and out, not a house for staying and enjoying with family as there are no activities around it. It is nicely staged and make you feel cozy. Internet is good. Cleanliness ok but would like more attention to details especially shower and kitchen sinks. There is no view of the sound you have to walk 5 minutes. Ac just in main area and one room, barely makes it to other areas of the house. You have to keep doors open if you want ac. (The problem are the mosquitoes inside house) The porch area very nice but hard to be there during the day, it is too hot and no ceiling fans, and during the evening worse because too many mosquitos:( Water quality not good. It smells... make sure you take lots of water or maybe owners can invest in a filter. Overall experience ok for a last minute booking or for people who goes to the area to work only. Fair price for location.

This is a new coastal home just built The home comes with a private pier at the end of the lane opening to core sound. We can not control insects it is a part of being at the coast Our cleaners take great care with cleaning especially since c-19. Other people have thoroughly enjoyed the home. There are ferries, parks, tennis all with in 5 minutes of the home as well as of course as water activists at Core Sound. I think a through reading of the description would have explained this home is not on Atlantic Beach

This is a beautiful newly built home with hardwood floors located by Core Sound. It has a fully stocked kitchen with all of the cooking basics as well as beach chairs and towels. There are 3 bedrooms in the home. There are 2 queen beds in the downstairs bedrooms and 2 full beds in the loft. It is furnished with new furniture, linens, and artwork for a relaxing atmosphere. There is also a grill and outdoor seating provided that make it the perfect location to enjoy the outdoors.

Guests will have access to the entire home, driveway, and front yard. They will also have access to the pier for water activities. It is only a few miles from the local boat access as well as the Davis Shore Ferry which will take you to Cape Lookout National Seashore and the Cape Lookout Lighthouse.
