Beacher's Oceanfront Balcony Suite with onsite Front Desk and Staff

This 2nd floor Balcony Suite is all that you really need to be happy at the beach. This condo is charming with cheerful yellow hues throughout. The sofa in the living room area is the perfect spot to watch TV or catch a view of the ocean. Kick back and relax in the recliner. Ceiling fans in both the living room and bedroom keep this condo breezy during even the hottest months. The kitchen has the stove top only, but still is enough to be able to enjoy a meal on the ocean front. The bathroom has the tub and vanity. The private bedroom was recently updated with vinyl laminate flooring and has the queen bed with a 26" Flat Screen TV. This condo will allow a pet, so it's everything you might need for a great beach stay. SMALL PETS ARE ALLOWED. TWO PETS MAX. $75 PER PET. NON-REFUNDABLE. Minimum age to rent is 21 years old

Great Stay!

Great stay at Beachers!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo 231 was great. Loved the bar setup to maximize eating space within the living room area.A side note - only downside was the revamp of the pet walk area to include the astroturf/fake grass. Our dogs hated it and refused to walk on it. I saw others taking their dogs to the back patio grassy areas as well and dogs going potty in the small step down area between the fence and dog area. We really hope they go back to natural grass in the dog walk area.

The room was exactly like the pictures, but a little worn around the edges. Enjoyed walking with my dog on the beach as well as the beach view.

A little far but 100% worth the stay

Quaint little beach place

SO RELAXING !!

Reviewer Comments: WE HAVE STAYED AT BEACHER'S PLENTY OF TIMES BEFORE BUT IT WAS ALWAYS MORE OF A FAMILY TRIP, BUT THIS TIME WAS MORE OF A COUPLE'S TRIP FOR OUR BEST FRIEND'S BIRTHDAY AND WE HAD SUCH A GREAT AND RELAXING TIME! THE CONDO WAS NICE EXCEPT WE DEFINITELY NEED A KING SIZED BED (THE QUEEN WASN'T BIG ENOUGH OR VERY COMFY) BUT WE STILL SLEPT WELL, AS WE ALWAYS DO AT THE BEACH :))

Relaxing but room needs updating badly

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We’ve stayed here before but this time when we checked in we started noticing that there were several gashes in the walls, the chair had a couple of holes in it, the fridge had a lot of rust and there was mold on the baseboard under the sink. The balcony is always our favorite part but unfortunately the overall room needs a lot of work and updating for it to be worth the price charged for the room.

Nice room, terrible bed

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a nice second floor unit. It has the great view of the ocean that all units above the first floor have. It doesn’t have an oven, and only 1 of the burners was functional, so our ability to cook in the room was really limited.The bed is virtually unsleep-able. It is so old that my husband and I immediately both rolled into the middle of the sagging mattress. We ended up having one of us sleep in the roll-out sofa bed in the living room with the hope that we could get a decent night’s sleep.

Great Beach and Stay with Some Issues at Beachers

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have been staying at Beachers for almost 25 years. We have stayed in different units each time and this unit had some minor issues that I'm had existed prior to my arrival and were not addressed. To begin with, the stove had two burners and one did not a matter of fact, the burner was totally disconnected. The unit should be repaired or replaced. Next, their were issues with the televisions. The one in the bedroom was an old non-smart tv and the channel selection was terrible. The main tv was a smart television, however, it could not connect to the WIFI signal. Maintenance came and after I was able to connect the tv to the mobile hotspot, he said that the WIFI wasn't very good in the building. I understand that we are at the beach and on vacation, but we do like to cook and relax watching television and that is why I bring this up. One other note, the ice machine on the north end of the building was broken and apparently it had been for awhile as there were numerous laminated signs telling it was out of order. To get ice, we had to walk the entire length of the building...not the biggest of deals but an inconvenience. Overall, Beacher's Lodge does not disappoint and we certainly will be returning to this magical beach! One other note, the staff was extremely accommodating and friendly.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The room we rented was decent. It was a bit worn, but had been given a facelift not too long ago. Evident by the paint splatters on the remote and coffee machine. Not much for cable channels if you get rained in. The exhaust vent in the bathroom did not work which will build moisture and do damage in the future. The toaster did not work. And the aforementioned coffee pot burner plate was rusted. The staff was excellent! And The view was as expected. Overall a solid 6 and 3/4 out of 10 decent

Front desk said they would call or text when unit is available. We never received a call nor a text . We went back to the office to check status and they said they texted which never happened. Unit had mice droppings in corner of living room.

Great staff, pool, & views. Condo in need of TLC & updates.

Reviewer Comments: Staff-friendly Views we're stunning; St Augustine does a great job of protecting their shoreline, and I am excited to see all the turtle's nests being protected as well. Loved that it was Dog friendly. PoolNice, Fantastic seafood at Commanders! The condo itself is very run down, with dated furniture, peeling paint, and rust on the lamps, and it had so much potential to be a favourite.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in unit 231 before. No oven, but has a small stovetop and microwave. The refrigerator looks rusted on the front, but keeps food reliably cold and frozen stuff frozen. Gorgeous view of the ocean from the balcony. The sleeper sofa has some light staining on the cushions and looks to be due to be replaced. Otherwise, had a great stay at Beachers as always!
