Deer Lake State Park has an extensive trail system for a day of hiking and exploring the Florida landscape. Golfing is also an option, as Camp Creek Golf Club is just five miles North. Great location and nice condo

The location of the condos was great. The walk to the beach was nice and there were plenty of food and shopping places within walking distance. The condo was clean and spacious. The primary bedroom’s king bed was very uncomfortable and also was lacking adequate bedding and pillows. The other beds were nice though. And the refrigerator does leak water as other reviews have mentioned.

Overall a good stay

Let me start by saying I would definitely stay here again, but there are some things worth noting. The beds are REALLY firm, and I personally like firmer beds. The kitchen is extremely bare bones. If you enjoy cooking, I would recommend bringing your own cooking supplies. The bedding is very thin, so if you enjoy cover I would recommend bringing some extra.Other than that the place is great. It's located in a great area, there is coffee and several restaurants within walking distance, and the private beach is truly a 5-minute walk. We had an absolute blast and would come again. We would just be a little more prepared next time lol.

Good for a short getaway

This was our second time staying at this condominium but first time in this specific condo. The condo itself is in a good location and has plenty of space to spread out. If you like sleeping on anything other than what feels like a wood board, bring a mattress topper with you for the master bedroom-because ouch. Also, there are very limited supplies in the kitchen so be prepared to bring your own supplies. The pool was very nice but no shade or umbrellas. The women's bathroom at the pool smelled like toxic mold and actually made my eyes water. We LOVED the access to the beach but it is a bit of a walk-especially if you bring chairs, umbrellas, tiny humans etc... Overall would give this unit 3 stars but wouldn't stay in this condo again specifically because of the master bed.

Aesome!

Loved the place!! Plenty of room for all 8 of us. Felt very homey. Would definitely rent again. Only downside was the dryer. Took 3 hours to dry a load of clothes. Everything else as perfect.

Week of 3/24-3/30

It was a wonderful condo! However, it did have some imperfections. We walked in and the refrigerator was leaking and we had to clean it the entire week. The toilet in the master bedroom was making a sound 90% of the time. Also, when I turned on the jacuzzi black stuff came out. Other than those minor fixes. It was a great stay!

Great location, great space

Firstly, the location is unbeatable. Easy walk to the a private beach. First floor makes is easy to walk out of back porch and onto 30a. The inside is good with nice living room/dining/ and kitchen space. The one complaint I have is that the kitchen did not come with a pan of all things.

Room was not very clean and there were a lot of fleas or knats in the room. The outside furniture was very dirty. There were at least 2 broken chairs and the dryer did not work but called the office and it was fixed soon after we called. Love the area. Nice condo. Nice pool

Yearly Summer Beach Vacation

A comfortable place to stay within access to a private beach! If you are looking for just a relaxing time to go to the beach-this spot is so close and the walk is beautiful. Lots of walking to do around you and little places that are going up where you can get some yummy ice cream at Pecan Jack's and do a little window shopping. Go eat some yummy sea food just down the road at Steamboat Grill. Such a nice, quiet spot. Our little family and close friends truly enjoyed!

Great location

The property is great. Gated, quiet, and well taken care of. The condo was clean but dated. the mattresses in the king and twin rooms did not have any kind of topper on them and were very uncomfortable. The kitchen only had 3 forks and 1 pan. For a group of 6 this was pretty inconvenient. All that aside, it was a great place to stay with easy access to a nice private beach! Vacasa was very easy to deal with and Geraldine in the office in Seagrove was so kind!

Property need work and beach rental chair problem

Ice maker poured water in floor all week half plug ins didn’t work and sofa was broke when we walked in then to put a damper on it all paid $209 dollars for rental chairs that other owners of other condo set in all week only chairs down there was ours and we didn’t get to use them and other owners said they owned beach and everything we couldn’t setup up there would not prefer sea view villas to be rented by anyone unless you want problem with beach rental company and owners of the other condos inside sea view think they are only people allowed!!!

Spacious and good customer service

It was very spacious and clean. Wish they had more kitchen supplies like bowls and baking sheets since we mostly cook our own food. Great customer service. We had a broken toaster and the next day they brought us a new one. Overall pleased

Great stay for everyone with a family

This property was really easy to rent it was worth every penny. Everything was nice and clean and up to par. The private access to the beach was simple you get your key card from the office box and take a short hike there. The people in this town is very friendly. They also had a pool on the property and a jacuzzi in the master suite it was amazing.

Location was great. Right inbetween Seaside and Rosemary. Great private beach so crowds at a minimum. Layout of the condo was great too. Queen bed way too lumpy and mushy. Appliances a little dated. Ice on door not working. Toaster not working. Had some little (OK, palmetto bugs - not so little) critters but first floor, Florida condo not unheard of. Living space overall was great. Parking very good. Liked it was a gated community.

Beautiful area and unit but needs some maintenance

Pros- private beach was amazing, we had so much room and our kids were able to play and we could easily keep an eye on them. Not far down, on the public beach, people were packed in like sardines. There is security that makes sure you are supposed to be on their beach. We brought our own chairs and umbrella and didn’t rent one, when we called they were $55 for 2 chairs and an umbrella. Little pricey to me if you are going to be there for a week. Nice and quiet area. Not a far walk from the beach and it’s a pretty walk. Sidewalks around the area were great and bikes were super fun! The house is big and we fit comfortably. We had pretty much everything we needed for our stay. Plenty of towels provided and we were able to get more as needed. We really enjoyed the area and that it is gated. Pool is close by and very nice. Cons-we received a call the day before our arrival notifying us that the washing machine was broken and we would not be having one for our stay. This made things very difficult especially having 1 year old twins. Having to hand wash clothes on a vacation was not ideal. Then tugging home a weeks worth of dirty laundry is disappointing. We were not offered anything to make amends for this except the suggestion of a laundry mat 10 miles away (who wants to spend their vacation at a laundry mat). Disappointed their wasn’t another option for us or at least some other reparation. The lint filter on the dryer is so worn out and brittle, there is actually a hole in it, maybe a fire hazard? The 3 layout chairs in the backyard are broken/too worn out and non usable. The freezer leaks and we had to keep a towel under it, which was there when we arrived. The ice dispenser on the freezer does not work, who knows how long people have been sticking their hands in the ice box to grab ice. The buttons are broken on the ice dispenser too. The sheets and blankets are old and thin. Bathtub in twin bedroom takes 15-20 minutes to drain completely. A handful of chairs by the pool are broken and not usable. Only one keycard to the beach is provided which makes it difficult when you have more than one family coming and going. It was overall a good stay, we had higher expectations for this unit and although we had a great time as a family, we will not be staying in these units again seeing the multiple issues there that haven’t been taken care of.

>>>>ONLY 1 BEACH ACCESS CARD FOR THE ENTIRE UNIT<<<

The ONLY reason I gave this unit a 1 star review is because we were only allowed 1 beach card access. The gate was a good walk from the beach and the condo and you had to have the card to come and go. So if you stay here your entire party has to come and go to the beach at the same time or else someone has to go and let them in/out. That's is fine for a single young family, but my boys are 19 and 21. The unit was great, but I wouldn't have rented it if I would have known about the gate situation to begin with. The lady there apologized and said she wished she could help but it was out of her hands.

Gate keeper

This unit has only one key card for beach access!! The walk is not short!! Someone has to spend a good amount of time being the gate keeper as key card is required for both entering and exiting the beach!! The path is extremely narrow with fence on both sides. The path is covered in and around with thick vegetation. The second day of the trip my family experienced burning of the eyed and throat. My eyes were swollen shut! The unit was nicely updated, clean and well kept. Just the description of the beach access is not accurate. There was problems with the units door key codes as well.

Great location, clean but absolute minimum amenities

Location and beach access is great. Clean home. However for the price paid, the linens are absolutely bare bones. Super thin sheets and blankets, old and raggedy. Towels are cheap thin and old. There were literally two tiny pans about the size to make a single fried egg, and I’m not sure what their purpose is. No salt and pepper or coffee filters. If you are looking for a a week vacation home for your family, it would be very difficult to cook here. Additionally there was one beach chair that was rusted, a couple of dingy beach towels. The television is old school and has direct tv so difficult to watch family movies in the evening. The location was good, beach access great and heated pool nice. A few upgrades would make this place worth it but for now this is a bare bones accommodation.
