Here at Gibson SIR, we strive to offer an impeccable customer service experience so that our guests can have amazing stays at our properties. This includes having multiple communication platforms to ensure we are reachable 24/7. That being said, you having used one of these platforms (text messaging) during your stay our team member did reach out about the smell immediately and offered to send someone out along with family members stopping by to check on you multiple occasions. Our communications do not indicate requesting you be at the home for the furnace company and on the contrary show a request to unlock the bulkhead door from the inside. The owner does have family close by and including our team would have been more than happy to meet the technician there to avoid taking time from your day. Through our communications during your stay we wish we would have had the opportunity to rectify some of the items you mentioned (grill and linens) as we were not told until just before you left. All of our properties are Gibson SIR Certified and all photos, amenities, calendar, and rates are 100% accurate and was not listed as providing sheets and towels and within our verbiage mentions to bring if otherwise stated in the description. We encourage all our guests to make sure they read the full details of the home they have booked, and to call us with questions about the home from stocked items, amenities, to ensure you have all the information you need to make your stay an enjoyable one.
