Large home for families, 2/10m to Kalmus Beach, 4BR sleeps 12 plus 2 GameRoom

We're in a great location on Ocean Street and it's a quick easy walk to two beaches: 1/10 mile to Veteran's Beach and 2/10 mile to Kalmus Beach along the newly paved walkway. With over 2,200 square feet our large rooms makes it great for family reunions and shoulder season golf type weekends. The large main living room has a 65'' tv with plenty of seating on the 3 sofas. The kitchen is between the living room and dining room where many also use the large table for card and board games. Don't forget the two games rooms where many bragging rights have been earned competing on the full size slate pool table, commercial air hockey or Foosball.

The floor plan gives you plenty of privacy for multi-generational or extended family with three distinctly private sleeping areas. The first floor ensuite master bedroom has a queen bed and tv. The other first floor bedroom has 2 twin beds and a full bath across the hall. Or choose one of the upstairs suites. Both the North Wing and South Wing are mirror images of the other and the layout works well for families as they are each closed off from the other. Once you enter your private suite you have a large living room with sofa, tv and in the alcove is a full bed; both your queen bedroom and full bath are each located off the living room.

Our large home comfortably sleeps up to 12 in 4+ bedrooms and 5 full baths. (A total of 7 beds: 3 Queen, 2 Full, 2 Twin) Linens and towels provided; 4 TV's. Games/Books/Cards included for indoor activity; beach chairs/toys and patio chairs. Off street parking for 4 cars.

Many have enjoyed the stone patio for a bbq using the gas grill and eating on the picnic tables. Others have enjoyed the simple pleasure of sitting and reading a book in the chairs or starting their day with coffee to watch the sunrise or after a busy day having a drink watching the sunset. We've even replaced the front bushes with hydrangeas that are so familiar to Cape Cod.

Veterans Beach (1/10 mile) is located next to Hyannis Yacht Club, Kennedy Memorial, and the Korean Memorial and has a nice picnic area with grills, picnic tables, a new playground, and an inlet for children to catch critters with pail and net. Kalmus Beach is great for swimming, has a volleyball net, and is known for windsurfing and also has a snack bar and both beaches have bathroom facilities. If you are interested in visiting our other local beaches, a laminated 'landlord' beach pass is provided allowing one vehicle free parking at all town beaches, ponds and lakes.

We are located close to a variety of places to explore. Only 7/10 mile away you can take in the beauty of vibrant Hyannis Harbor where you'll find fishing, charter and tour boats, ferry to islands, free entertainment, artisan cottages, harbor master and restaurants. Continue on the ''Walkway to the Sea' one block to downtown to explore numerous restaurants, shops and Kennedy Museum. Or don't forget the Cape Cod Baseball League if you are a baseball fan...you can walk to the Hyannis Harbor Hawks ball field for a classic hometown feel. Each choice is a good one. Walk, drive or check the RTA trolley schedule that passes by the house.

The house is close to Hyannisport and the Kennedy Compound, and Hyannis has a movie theater in the Mall, miniature golf, airport and transportation center. Golf is less than 5 miles at Hyannis Country Club. Considered the 'hub' of the Cape, Hyannis is convenient to other sites on the Cape.

-We require a signed lease upon booking and an executed lease is necessary to secure your rental. A copy of the lease is available on this site and we will email you the lease once you have booked.
-For the benefit of all of our guests, we have a No Smoking, No Pets policy. We are located in a residential area and our house is not a party house. -
The minimum age to book our home is 30 and there must be someone over 30 staying at the property.
-We have lived next door to our rental home for 25 years and would be available should you need us.
