Unit is 3419 is centrally located and highly updated. The unit and complex are directly across the street from world famous Charlie Young Beach. The unit is very centrally located to Kihei. Shopping, surfing, beaches, dining, and all within a couple of blocks. The unit comes stocked with all the creature comforts of home including a full size washer and dryer.

Ocean Views from the lanai are a great spot to enjoy your morning coffee or a nice Mai Tai for sunset. Both bathrooms have been recently updated with tile throughout. The main floor bathroom has a tub and the upstairs bathroom has a stand up shower. You will need a shower after coming back from a snorkel or scuba trip leaving from the small Kihei boat ramp. The boat ramp is only minutes from the unit and during the season also has amazing whale watch tours! If the water and beach aren’t your thing Maui has some of the best golfing in the world and boasts the first PGA tour event of the year.

The unit boasts a king bed in the primary bedroom and multiple sleeping configurations in the second loft bedroom. The second bedroom can be configured into two single beds or a king bed. We just ask that you give your preference when you book this unit. The living area also has a pullout couch with a super comfy queen bed. The unit has two air conditioning units for your comfort, however, Maui’s amazing trade winds allow for a great cross breeze plus there are fans in all of the rooms to help increase the air flow.

The complex offers free parking, one of our 3 pools, 6 tennis courts, 4 outdoor gas barbecues and free WIFI. The home has cable television and is a smart tv so that you can log into your favorite streaming service. There is some beach gear in the closet on the lanai.

The apartment was very clean, had almost everything provided to us, beach towels, beach toys, beach umbrella, & cooler. Harry was a great host, always responded in a timely manner. Will stay again!

Beautiful Condo

We had the best time here. Condo is centrally located so walking to dinner was easy. The beach being right across the street spoiled us. We love Kihei and this condo made it even more enjoyable. The condo is comfortable, roomy and has everything you need to make your stay memorable. Thank you!

Maui Vacation

Loved the location of this property. Close to a wonderful beach and great shops. Property manager was accommodating and helpful. The condo itself could use some updates- some things as simple as fixing the toilet paper holder. Would definitely stay here again.

Great condo, convenient location

We liked that this is an easy walk to the Charlie Young beach (right across the street) and all of the south Kihei beaches. Charlie Young is great for swimming and has good morning snorkeling (we saw so many sea turtles!) and great sunsets. This part of the island was centrally located for all of the things we wanted to do. The condo layout worked well for our family of five and the complex is nice. We also really appreciated the beach gear.

Everything but the kitchen sink!

The owners have really outfitted this condo well for a Maui vist. They've thought of most everything you might do while visiting including beach chairs, umbrella, snorkel gear etc. The property manager is great. We did suffer a kitchen sink pipe leak while visiting, but he had it cleaned up and fixed the next day.

Quiet and Cool

We always try to stay at Maui Vista when we make our annual February trip to Kihei as it is conveniently located and well insulated from street noise. This was our first time at Building 3. The condo is exactly as advertised. Because it is not in direct sun light, we didn't need to use the air conditioning unit at all. The previous renters had broken some things, but the property managers were immediately there and solved the problems quickly and efficiently. The kitchen itself is well appointed and there are plenty of "extra" thoughtful touches. We would have rented it again next year, but the calendar showed someone else beat us to it.

Great Condo Centrally Located in Kihei

Everything was as listed on the app. It was very easy to communicate with the management company and it was easy to find the condo and easily gain access. We chose this unit because it had easy access for traveling with elderly family members. They were able to easily get into the unit and never had to climb stairs! It was very nice to have a clean condo to cook and enjoy takeout, instead of needing to wait in line at many restaurants. Appreciated having a washer and dryer so that we could travel with carryon only. Mahalo for a great stay!

It was OK

On site manager was unresponsive. Condo is a little run down. There are maintainance issues which are subtle, but show lack of concern for property, for example the toilet paper roll holder in the downstairs bathroom had apparently been broken since July 2024. See othe r reviews. Had to live out of suitcase upstairs, no closet or chest of drawers. Sheets had holes. Requested 2 twins combined into king. Wasn't done prior to arrival or after complaint. .no food storage containers. .Advertised with AC, ON TIMErRWITH MAX of two hours. And so on and so forth. Fit what we paid we expected more. r reviews. bathroom

Maui Stay

Location was excellent. Unit was HOT - it was very difficult to get it to cool down. The unit was a tad small for 6 people but it’s workable if you aren’t there that much. Not a lot of places to hang swim suits or towels and you can’t hang stuff the balcony/patio due to the HOA regulations. Communication with property manager was less than stellar. Failed to tell us we needed to check in with security regarding parking and when I tried contacting him before our arrival about items in the condo, he never responded. I’d stay in this complex again because of location but would probably choose a different unit.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was great, close to beach and restaurants. Condo needed serious cleaning. Dust everywhere, carpet was a major tripping hazard. Taps loose and dripping, Hot water was sporadic if we got any at all. Air conditioner was very loud and filthy. I wish I could send pictures of filth. Would like compensation. Have stayed in other units at Maui Vista and never had these issues.

Great stay

The condo was nice and had pretty much everything you needed. I would say a rice cooker would be good to add to the house but thats it. It was a little further from the beach then I thought it was which was a bummer cause we were not able to walk there with the kids but still had a great view! The only reason I gave it a lower star value is the AC. It had wall units (which is fine) but they are pluged into boxes that only allow it to run for 2 hours. We where there in June and it was muggy and hot so everytime we left and came back the condo was grossly hot and muggy. At night it was hot unless you got up every 2 hours to turn the units backs on. To me this would have stopped me from renting this unit as it was not sutible for what we wanted. We didnt want an ice box but wanted to be able to be comfortable.

A great holiday

Maui is wonderful, we have been there several times and have always stayed at Maui Vista. It's a great location, close to the beach, shopping and several great restaurants. We've always been very happy with Maui Vista but found our condo this stay a little lacking. My husband and I took the loft, leaving the downstairs bedroom for our daughter and her young daughter. Not only was the closet padlocked closed, there was also no dresser or even a drawer. Lived out of our suitcases for FIVE weeks! Not ideal! On arrival we found that both toilets needed to be plunged on every use. We told our host, it took 8 days to have both toilets replaced. A LOT of plunging! There were cockroaches in the suite, i asked our host for some help, never heard back from him. The kitchen was pretty well equipped tho the advertised cooler was never found. All in all tho we loved our holiday in Maui and will definitely be returning with our family!

Reviewer Comments: Absolutely love the location of this unit, would stay at Maui Vista again and again as this was our third time, but We will never stay in unit 3419 again. The AC units BOTH need to be replaced, they are covered in black mold, making breathing difficult for both of my asthmatic kids. It was pretty awful. The unit was very dirty upon arrival. Dust everywhere, the floors were so filthy. My husband and I cleaned this unit best we could to make it more comfortable for our stay but there was no getting that black mold out of BOTH ac units, they need to be replaced. Overall I’d give the unit a 2/10 rating and would love to get my cleaning deposit back as we left the unit far more clean than what we arrived to.

Great Location at Clean, We'll-stocked Condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family had a great stay at Maui Vista #3419. It was within walking distance of a great beach, good restaurants, and shopping. It was also a short drive to fantastic beaches in Wailea. It was also a relatively short drive to the airport and larger stores for groceries and supplies. The place was clean and a community approach from prior residents left behind cleaning and laundry supplies, which we contributed more to as we were appreciative to have the necessities upon our arrival. The place also had beach chairs, umbrellas, and a cooler, and we were able to eat a lot of meals in or pack them for the day. Finally, grilling out at the community grill was a highlight for my husband and sons. A lot of nice residents there, and they made good friends while grilling out. And the girills are kept sparkling clean. We will definitely come back to Maui and will look to 3419 again as our place to stay.
