735 sq ft-1 Bedroom guest house retreat on privately-gated/walled 5 acre estate. Near The Ritz-Carlton/Dove Mountain/Oro Valley and I-10 with convenient access to golf/restaurants/shopping/hiking/cycling/walking trails. Only 1.7 miles from services. All surrounding neighborhoods are spread out 5-10 acre lots for a uniquely private Tucson setting with magnificent 360 mountain views and natural setting.

Large living/dining area and kitchenette with separate private bedroom/queen bed and large closet. Bathroom has spacious shower with 9' ceiling. No stairs and easy access, only a small step-down for the shower. The owner's detached garage is built onto the guest house, so you may hear the owners as they come and go.

We're a straight shot to I-10 via Tangerine Rd and only 1.5 hours to Phoenix or 40 minutes to Tucson International Airport. 30 minutes to downtown Tucson.

Plenty of parking, also suitable for towing a small trailer with prior approval. The kitchenette is equipped with microwave, toaster, coffee maker, hot water kettle, mini fridge and sink along with complementary snacks, beverages and coffee/tea. The mountains can interfere with mobile phone signals. Use Wifi for cell phone calls, streaming and web surfing. The 50" TV has a Roku and a Google Chromecast for streaming and a Blu-Ray/DVD player with Redbox just 5 minutes away.

Feel like you're a million miles away while you remain close to activities, shopping and services.

Keep your eyes open, and you will enjoy the rich and varied wild life as well as our many unique Soronan Desert Saguaros. Incredible sunset views and nature viewing.

No pets/parties/smoking/vaping.

Beautiful oasis in the dessert

We enjoyed our stay immensely and would stay again next time on dove mountain: very clean with attention to all the details. We also loved the dessert panorama and quiet beauty of this place.

Location and sky-views!

This casita is a gem. Beautifully tucked away in the mountains and yet close enough to amenities. The accommodations are comfortable and clean, bed and pillows very comfortable. Great parking. Pamela was warm and welcoming. I will certainly look to stay here again.

Desert Oasis

Lovely, quiet, clean and comfortable. I highly recommend it for someone who's looking for a peaceful and relaxing desert stay near and around lots of activities in both Oro Valley and Marana.

Perfect Long Weekend

The overview of the property, photographs and reviews are correct. We spent three nights and Pamela our host was excellent! She greeted us, showed us the guest house, provided a list of local restaurants and was so helpful. The property is so quiet , comfortable with a feel of way out in the country, but so close to everything. The yard is beautiful , and we saw many wild animals. This is a well maintained home with views of the mountains and so perfect for two people. We will be back!

Beautiful comfortable home

This is the best vac. Rental we have stayed in. The owner was so helpful with information on the area. The place is beautiful inside and out and so peaceful. So quiet! We will definitely stay again if we return to Arizona and definitely recommend this home to others.

Private and peaceful setting

Wifi was great as my husband was working remotely and host provided a desk and chair for the space. No cable TV but casting was available from your device. Grocery store 7 mins away. Enjoyed Dove Mountain Brewery 10 minutes away was great for beer & food, outdoor patio.

Beautiful Oro Valley Casita.

We truly enjoyed our stay. With the Covid concerns around the country we felt very safe and secure in this location. It is a very spacious casita which met our needs. We highly recommend this location. We definitely will be staying here in the future.

Great Getaway

This place was perfect for my little getaway. Close to golf courses and hiking. Great views of the surrounding desert. The place was very roomy. Comfy couch with dual rocking recliners. The internet service was good for streaming. The TV is equipped with both a Google Chromecast and Roku device as well as a DVD player. Comfy huge bed. Great walk-in shower with high ceiling. The mini fridge came in handy for keeping all my beverages Ice cold. And the microwave came in handy for popcorn and TV dinners. There were separate heaters for the bedroom and living room which worked great. Pamela was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back.

We fell in love with the natural and wild setting while still remaining close to services and easy access to I-10, area attractions and Phoenix. Privacy and security were as important as the beautiful setting for our family, so we have appreciated the secured gate that eliminates unwanted visitors. The bunny rabbits seem to really enjoy that feature as well. While the internet options aren't as fast as some of our other homes in the past, we hope you feel the setting makes up for it.

Very private. Lovely views and wildlife. Nestled into the Tortolita Mountains with 360 mountain views. Surrounded by neighborhoods for miles that are on 4-10 acre lots for unique Sonoran desert setting. Feels a million miles away but very close to services (5 minutes). Very convenient to I-10 and only 1.5 hours to Phoenix/30 minutes to downtown/40 minutes to Tucson Airport. Golf courses abound very close by.
