Villa has gas fireplace, dishwasher, private parking space at front door and additional parking at back entrance, private raised covered patio off bedroom, small enclosed back yard , mountain views, large windows ,washer and dryer on premise, ice maker, gas BBQ grill ,polished concrete floors, western decor ,large walk in shower, reclining furniture ,WIRELESS INTERNET, Dish TV, Smart TV with Roku, Netflix, dvd player, landline telephone, all linens, all dishware, microwave oven, toaster oven, pots and pans, hair dryer, iron & ironing board. We had a great stay at Hacienda Hideout. The peaceful, quiet location is also convenient to great hiking trails as well as the numerous amenities of Tucson. Nancy and Patrick are super hosts. They keep the Hideout clean and well equipped and the comfortable furnishings and the private back patio made for a welcome stay. We’ll be back!

A Stay To Remember

The property is exactly as advertised. Peaceful and quiet. The villa is quiet and peaceful. The owners provide everything you need. Just arrive with your groceries and relax. The light switches are labeled for easy identification. Everything worked perfectly. The place is spotless! Tranquility at its best.

Wonderful house and property. Tidy and Super furnishings. You feel totally immersed in the Southwest. Feels like your staying in the Saguaro national forest, but still close to everything! Great Hosts

Wonderful stay in the Tucson desert

We spent a week here over the Chistmas break. The place is fantastic, with awesome views. It is quiet, with lots of wildlife around. The house has everything one can dream of. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. We hope to be back!

Wonderful Weekend Getaway

Nancy was a fabulous host and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. The location of the property was amazing, with Saguaro National Park and other beautiful sites just a short drive away. Highly recommend staying here for a relaxing long weekend away!

Casita in the foothills

Patrick and Nancy were readily available to answer any questions and are super nice folks. The interior is comfortable and decorated with a southwestern/cowboy theme. The casita sits among saguaro cactus, which is a treat.

A Short Stay in Tucson

We came down from Mesa to enjoy a few days in Tucson. My husband was apprehensive about staying in a casita-style VRBO, but shortly after we arrived loved this villa! It was comfortable, clean, and private. We saw a deer and enjoyed our coffee, watching the hummingbirds come to feed. You can see Mt Lemon and the town just below it from inside the villa. The host covered everything, and the water pressure was good and heated up quickly. If you're looking for a great escape for two ... this is the place. Enjoy.

Desert Hideaway

The Hacienda Hideout Casita was a wonderful place to stay! So many personal touches were involved with making the casita a true home away from home. We thoroughly enjoyed having coffee on the porch with the hummingbirds visiting and even saw a javelina passing through! The Casita had everything that we needed to cook a quiet meal and relax in between adventuresas well! We are so glad that we found this little desert hideaway.

Desert Haven

This review will not capture the level of satisfaction we had with Nancy’s place. It was immaculately clean, orderly, well-stocked, and simply perfect. The views were amazing, too! Proximity to the Saguaro National Park and other outdoor recreation was super convenient. . comfy bed ample supply of towels washer / dryer wifi tv (thought we didn’t use it. *Nancy was great to answer any text but allowed such a high level of privacy that I never saw her. FIVE STARS HANDS DOWN

Hacienda Hideout

Property was awesome! Husband & I both felt @ home. And my Yorkie was playing like crazy. The location for us was great. St. Mary’s Mexican food on St. Mary’s had delicious food @ reasonable price (take out only). Although some distance the Macy’s and Dillard’s at Tucson Mall are both so nice. Again, the casita was great. Would not hesitate to stay again.

This is such a lovely place and in a wonderful quiet location. But still very easy to get places around Tucson. Hosts were lovely. We enjoyed our time and would certainly go again if we go back to Tucson

I had the most wonderful stay here. As a solo female traveler, I felt incredibly safe and Nancy and Patrick were the kindest of hosts. The home was clean, quiet, cozy, and had everything I needed. I was just a short drive from all my Tucson must sees. I loved, loved, loved staying here!

Casita in the Sonoran desert west with views

The casita was beautiful, well maintained. Excellent, quiet wildlands with hummingbirds, flickers, singing white wing doves, cottontails and 'songs' of coyotes overnight. The hosts were very cordial and friendly. We will return!

The Perfect Desert Getaway

This charming hacienda exceeded all our expectations. The sweeping views of the desert landscape out the large picture windows are breathtaking. Nancy and Patrick are so welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay special. We even extended our stay for extra days because we hated to leave. Most of the sights we wanted to see in Tucson were within easy driving distance. I highly recommend this as the perfect place to stay if you enjoy a quiet, secluded desert getaway!

Wonderful Desert Hideaway

What a wonderful little casita, was the perfect place to unwind from the rest of the world. Nancy was wonderful to talk to and property was amazing. Loved the wild life, the 3 owls that greet you at the front door every morning, the deer, jackrabbits, quail and doves and even saw javelins and coyote.s... I can not say enough wonderful things about the property... 10 stars for sure...Thank you and we will be staying again very soon...

Awesome experience!!

Our stay was characterized by fantastic sunrises and sunsets with mountain views in both directions. The wildlife was spectacular and the location was convenient to amenities yet far enough away to relax out of the bustle! We look forward to our next stay at the Casita when we return! Bob & Michelle

Perfect Desert Getaway

For us, this was a wonderful introduction to the natural beauties of the desert in Arizona. The hacienda was situated among cactus (a large saguaro in the front!) and afforded us many sightings of wildlife...javelina, jackrabbits, lizards etc. The lovely back porch was a favorite where we enjoyed meals while we were visited by a Costas hummingbird and were able to observe a white-winged dove nesting in a Palo Verde tree. The house itself was a marriage of southwestern decor and cowboy whimsy. The hosts really took care to decorate it in a comfortable, artful way. There were so many custom touches and we took many pictures inside and out. Large windows provided sunlight and spectacular views. The hosts were a delight to talk to, and made many helpful suggestions. The location was convenient to every place we needed to go or wanted to visit. We really can't imagine a better place to stay!!

Darling casita in a perfect spot

This is the sweetest little casita, artfully decorated and comfy. The high ceilings, big picture windows, and open floor plan keep it feeling roomy. The windows offer an unobstructed view of the saguaro forest and Catalina mountains. We enjoyed sitting out on the back deck to read and watch the birds. The shower is HUGE. I loved all the brightly colored tile and concrete floors. It's a perfect location, only a few minutes from town but feels like out in the country. We loved it and hated to leave.
