Walnut Valley Cabin is a cozy vacation cabin that is surrounded by nature. The perfect getaway for couples, small families, and friends. Comfortably furnished and fully equipped with an outstanding list of amenities.The cabin is located 8 miles north of Logan, 9 miles south of Lancaster, and an hour southeast of Columbus. A few of the many amenities include: a hot tub on the rear covered deck, stocked, private fishing pond, WIFI, tennis court with a basketball hoop, pickle ball court, and fire pit.

This was the best place to stay! It felt secluded even though you were less than 20 minutes to most stores and attractions. The correspondence before booking was wonderful and they answered all my questions quickly. I immediately was charmed upon walking in to the cabin - there was a decorated and lit Christmas tree, other decorations, and the TV was set to Christmas music. This made my whole trip. In addition, they provided delicious cinnamon rolls and some k-cups for the Keurig. The sofa was comfortable, the beds were wonderful, and the hot tub was simply fantastic. I definitely will stay there again!

We really love this cabin. This is our second time staying and Iā€™m sure we will be back again. The cabin is clean, well stocked and comfortable for the two of us. The kitchen table is a good size (we like to do puzzles) and the couch is the best we have ever seen at a cabin like this. The hot tub is also clean and feels great after a good hike. We like that it is very close to Boch Hollow and Rockstall both of which have terrific hiking. They also have a nice tennis court which looks in good shape. The hosts are also greatā€¦very available and responsive. We like that they live nearby and will respond quickly to any concerns. We like that the hosts are the actual owners rather than a company hired to take care of the cabin. We have stayed at several different cabins in Hocking Hills and this is our favorite.

The cabin was very clean and well kept. The welcome binder with directions and ideas for local attractions was very helpful. The hosts are very easy to get in touch with and responsive. The hot tub was very clean and sanitized and set up on the back porch which feels very secluded for relaxing. Tons of extra things like a basketball and tennis courts and also a fire pit

Wonderful all around! Such a warm welcome with the fireplace on, lights, and cinnamon rolls! VERY responsive when booking and just up the road should there be issues - and we had NO issues. Everything was spotless, adorably decorated for fall. Can't say enough about the cabin and hosts! 10/10 for sure!

The communication from the hosts was great from the start, and throughout the trip. They had the cabin set up and ready for our arrival, left the tv and lights on, had plenty of pamphlets for surrounding trails, attractions, food, and sight seeing, and even left us cinnamon rolls! The cabin was beautiful, just as pictured, and the hot tub was a nice perk after a long hike. 10/10 would recommend this cabin and these hosts! We will be back in the future!!

We had a great time for "girls weekend"! The cabin was very clean and the amenities were everything that was promised. The location was 20 - 30 minutes from most Hocking Hills hiking locations and there's a great winery about 1/2 mile away! Overall an excellent stay.

The cabin was very clean and tidy when we arrived. Having a hot tub was amazing especially after a day of hiking. The linens on the beds were clean and tidy and sleeping was very easy. The pond was nice as it was only just a short walk away from the cabin and there was so many trails to walk within 20 to 30 minutes. I would definitely book this cabin again if I come back to Hocking hills.

The cabin itself was terrific. The hosts make an extra effort to see that their guests are welcome, comfortable, and well informed about the area. The cabin and hot tub were exceptionally clean and well cared for. The bed was very comfortable and the sofa/recliners were the best we have had at a rental cabin. The Christmas decorations were such a nice touch and the cinnamon rolls were unexpected and delicious. One reason we chose this cabin is that it is near Boch Hollow which is one of our favorite hiking areas. While we again enjoyed Boch Hollow we were delighted to find that another nature preserve we were not familiar with was less than a mile away from the cabin. We hiked Rockstall Preserve on our first morning and enjoyed it so much we hiked it again on our last morning so we could see the trail and the waterfall after a light snowfall. Dave and Ronda made themselves readily available during our stay but everything was so well prepared that we never needed to contact them. This cabin is a real gem and we would love to stay again.

Amazing place to stay near hocking holl

Dave and Ronda maintain an absolutely phenomenal cabin to stay near hocking hill! The cabin is well stocked and cutely decorated to give you such a welcome feel! The property itā€™s located in is very well maintained and nice and tucked away! My wife and I really enjoyed the time we spent and would love to come back!
