• Zen Space: A bright and welcoming open-concept kitchen, dining, and family area featuring festival concerts, Asian zen, and Alice in Wonderland-inspired décor.

We’re currently in the final stages of a main-level renovation, and starting April 28, 2025, all guests will enjoy a completely refreshed space that still holds onto the original Rock N Roll vibe.

• A large kitchen island with seating for 4–6 people — perfect for group meals or spontaneous jam sessions
• Luxury waterproof laminate floors throughout the main level

• Fully stocked kitchen essentials, including brand-new pots and pans.

Whether you’re preparing a feast or just heating up leftovers, you’ll have everything you need — from stainless-steel appliances to a wide variety of utensils, spices, and thoughtful touches.

• Jam Room: A living area and music haven with a real piano, congas, a Djembe, guitar and bass, and more. Whether you’re channeling your inner rock star or just here to relax, this room is perfect for strumming, drumming, or simply jamming out to your favorite tunes. This is where bands are born, or at least where your dad can relive his high school garage days.


• Purple Rain Lounge: Consistently voted the BEST room in the house, this versatile space can double as a lounge or a first-floor bedroom. You might not purify yourself in the waters of Lake Minnetonka, but you can bask in the purple glory of this Prince-inspired lounge. It’s perfect for relaxing, reading, or planning your next album cover.

Bathrooms & Amenities:

Rock N Roll House ensures your group has plenty of space to get ready, unwind, and enjoy the quirky charm of its three unique bathrooms:

• The Random Bathroom (Half Bath): Tucked away on the main floor, this is the only bathroom downstairs, and it’s as eclectic as the rest of the house. Featuring a mix of Christmas Jam, NOLA Jazz Fest, and Little House on the Prairie-inspired décor, it’s a tiny space packed with personality. And yes, brushing your teeth here might feel like you’ve stepped into an art exhibit—but at least you’ll leave smiling!

• The Dancing Bear Bathroom (Master Suite): Part of the Jerry Garcia master suite, this uniquely remodeled bathroom features gorgeous custom tiling and a glass-door shower with a built-in Bluetooth speaker. Whether you’re singing along to “Ripple” or jamming to your personal shower playlist, this bathroom delivers an encore-worthy experience every time.

• Support Local Music Bathroom (Shared Full Bath): Serving the upstairs bedrooms, this bathroom blends vintage charm with practical updates. The older bathtub is clean and paired with excellent water pressure and updated hardware for a refreshing shower. But when the sunlight streams through the fractal rainbow window, filling the room with a kaleidoscope of colors, don’t be surprised if you find yourself humming “She’s a Rainbow” by The Rolling Stones.
