This home is the perfect vacation spot! Close to it all - swimming, surfing, boating, fishing, golfing, biking, walking, etc! This lovely home is located in a quiet established neighborhood just a block away from Jenness Beach. Amenities include central air, internet, hardwood flooring, washer/dryer and fireplaced living room. Enjoy your morning coffee on the spacious east facing deck as you glimpse at the ocean. There is a nice sized yard for the kids to play on after a busy day at the beach. Stroll to Summer Sessions or the popular Carriage House Restaurant. Clean, comfortable, and quantly decorated.
Please note washer/dryer are in 3/4 height basement. Stairs are tight but very accessible.

Be ready to do laundry.

I will never stay in another place that makes me make a bed or launder mismatched gray sheets and towels in a basement with 5' spider web ceilings. Horrible. We got in at 3 AM and had to make a bed. :-( There was one roll of TP for the entire week. There may be folks that are okay with these rules,. We'll never do this again .

Great Jenness Beach location!

Clean, comfortable beach house. Everything you need for a week at the beach. Dan was great to communicate with. Only downside for us (may not matter to others) is that we didn't know, before booking, that linen service is not included. Tenants must make up their own beds then wash, fold and put away any linens/towels used before checking out. I consider this a flawed system since you are relying on prior tenants for the cleanliness of the linens. Additionally, the washer and dryer are located in the basement which is only 5 feet tall. If we were local, I would have brought my own linens or just booked another property.

This was our third or staying at this property. It gets better and better each year. Great location to the beach especially with children and communication with Dan is very easy. We will definitely be back!

Overall, we had a great experience and would stay again. We liked: - Cleanliness of the house - Close proximity to the beach - Close proximity to dining options for all daily meals - Everything included (linens, cooking utensils, etc.) - Good owner communication

Great Stay at the Beach!

My Husband and I stayed at Daniels property, along with my 2 year old and 5 month old, while visiting family in NH. The house was great! Incredibly clean, very renter friendly. We loved our early morning walks on the beach (with the two kids, much earlier than I would have liked ;) We came with 2 portable cribs, and had ample space for them in 2 of the bedrooms. While we went out for most meals, we enjoyed grilling up burgers one afternoon & sitting on the deck - its a great spot. Location is right across from Jenness Beach, 2 minutes to the sand. We also enjoyed walking to Common Roots for coffee/ breakfast - and there's a great restaurant, The Carriage House, for dinners or drink. Very accessible to Portsmouth as well. I would definitely recommend booking this house! Thanks Daniel - we had a great trip!

Nice stay at the beach

Family had a great stay at the beach (2 adults, 3 kids (all under 10). Property was great - 2 min walk to beach, plenty of room to relax, clean and comfortable.

Great location and cute house

We loved the location and the proximity to the beach! The house was clean and cute! However, I would have not had a problem to wash, dry, fold and put away the linens as required but the washer and dryer in the basement were hugely inconvenient to access and I did not feel like the linens provided were fresh to begin with. I would highly suggest they look into a linen service for guests moving forward. We would definitely rent this house again if a linen service was provided.

Perfect for our needs

We live local but needed some “overflow” accommodations for out of town guests. Location was very convenient to everything and space was perfect for us. House was clean and as represented in the listing. Owner was very responsive to all questions and easy to communicate with. The back deck had a great ocean view which made morning coffee so very pleasant. Would definitely recommend.

Cozy Cottage, Great Location, Wonderful Week

First of all, Daniel was responsive, friendly and helpful. That makes all the difference. My sister and I live in Phoenix and we come to NH as often as we can to see our loved ones. They are scattered around with their own families, so we like to rent a house where everyone comes together when they can. Tides Cottage worked out very well for us. It is charming and comfortable, and well stocked with cleaning supplies and such. The neighborhood is quiet and pleasant. The large driveway is helpful. We enjoyed looking at the ocean from the windows and deck. And it is a short walk to get there and stroll on the beach. Being spring, we had variable weather, but we went out when we could and enjoyed cooking meals and card games in the evenings. We had a wonderful week in Tides Cottage.

Our family will always remember Tides Cottage

This rental is everything AND MORE!!! You will just need to pack your swimsuit and you are ready. The owners have thought of everything ~ very neat and organized. The owners were wonderful to work with and the neighborhood is amazing. You will not be sorry to renting Tides Cottage.

House felt like home.

This was a wonderful home away from home. The beach was much closer than I anticipated which made trips to the beach with my three kids very easy. I loved being able to look out the window and see the ocean after the kids were asleep. We all had a great time and look forward to going back next year.
