Desert Life with a View

Our getaway is located inside the guard gated community of Palm Valley Country Club. Our townhome sits on a beautifully designed golf course by Ted Robinson. (The courses are for members only)
We're minutes away from Indian Wells Tennis Garden, Acrisure Arena, a variety of restaurants and plenty of shopping.
The fully furnished townhome is a simple 2 story, 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath that has beautiful views beyond the golf course. We face the San Jacinto mountains and have some breathtaking sunsets. You can hear the lake fountain from our patio and from the primary suite balcony. Both bedrooms are upstairs. The primary with ensuite is furnished with a king size bed. The second bedroom has two twin beds and attached bathroom. On the main floor is a fully stocked kitchen and utility room with a front-loading washer & dryer. We supply some paper and cleaning products. The pool and jacuzzi are only steps away. There are pool towels in the utility room. On the main floor there is a TV area and another living area for relaxing. We have a one vehicle enclosed garage. Wireless Internet is provided. More information can be found in our Welcome Book.
12% transit occupancy tax will not apply on stays 30 days or greater.

The condo was exactly as described. Early mornings, sitting on the patio enjoying coffee and watching the variety of birds, then the variety of golfers, was awesome. Two pools were close and quiet. Parking in garage, out of the sun, was another great feature. We would definitely chose this property again!

Thank you for your review. In your personal message to me you only said you enjoyed your stay. We believe the photos and description of our townhome are accurate. Updates are being considered. I think you are referring to the primary second sink in need of repair. There is still a useable sink in the primary. We are talking about updating the bathrooms. We are happy you enjoyed your stay.

Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful experience renting this townhome in beautiful Palm Valley CC. The kitchen is well- equipped, the views are exceptional, and the activities provided (sports raquets, bikes and games) were an added plus!!

Scrapbook Weekend

My friends and I stayed for 4 nights scrapbooking almost every waking hour. The property was in a wonderful location that gave us nice views while we sat and did our craft. It was clean and comfortable. Our husbands came up Saturday to golf and enjoyed the hot tub. Loved our stay.

Scherman’s at Palm Valley

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. The patio view of golf was a delight each day. The location to other Palm Desert places was also easy to manage. Kelly, the owner was very responsive to any questions or needs we had. We would come back in a heartbeat!! Thanks!!

Fine place for family!

Our grown children enjoyed their stay at Kelly's place. The only issue was the noise from the passing trains across the street. Other than that, Kelly was very attentive when the bathroom sink was leaking, offering to have a plumber come out right away. Thanks, Kelly!

Lovely views

We completely enjoyed our stay. You could not get a more well equipped unit or a nicer view. As many have mentioned, the trains are a thing but they only last 90 seconds. If you are light sleeper I would bring silicone ear plugs and you won't hear a thing!

Great home base for friends trip

The description and photos represent the property, and it was a comfortable spot for the four of us. Even though we didn’t get a chance to watch any movies, we loved that there were vhs tapes (so many movies from our childhood!) and a vcr. The owner Kelly was really responsive and helpful, which helped to make the trip stress free. Each room was comfortable and had plenty of space for two adults and their stuff.

Great property with a beautiful view

My family and I stayed at the property for spring break and were very impressed. The house was clean and perfect for our needs. We really enjoyed the pool being so close and the bikes. The view from the patio is spectacular and it was fun to watch the golfers chip onto the green. The host was also very responsive. My only complaint was the noise level. There are numerous freight trains that run by the front of the house and the golf course groundskeepers start mowing and trimming at 6am every morning.

Beautiful View of the Golf Course & Pond

The location and country club grounds were awesome! The place itself was a bit dated but comfortable and well stocked. The kitchen dishwasher was not getting dishes clean which resulted in previous guests putting away dirty dishes. The owner was made aware & she was looking to resolve the problem.

Thank you for your four stars and notifying me personally about the dishwasher. It’s already been replaced. While our townhome may seem dated, built in the 1970’s, we are continuously making improvements, while keeping some of its original style. The W/D, TV, fridge and now dishwasher are all brand new. We have keep the rental cost in the lower market, and believe our description and photos are accurate. I really appreciated your thoughtfulness and your care while staying here. Gorgeous View

This is the most well stocked condo that we have rented. Everything, from three different kinds of coffee makers, was there. The view from the patio is wonderful - it sits on the golf course with a lake in front of the patio - perfect setting. The condo is well stocked with things like bicycles and pool toys. Communication with the host went great - a couple of small questions came up, not condo related, and Kelly was right on top of it to get it resolved. Bottom line - a great condo and great service!

Beautiful location

Beautiful location. Safe and clean. Owner very responsive. Only issues were difficulty opening lock box (no instructions and very worn/tough to open) and no TV instructions. Fully stocked kitchen. Comfy bed and sheets. Could use some minor updating, like screen door that sticks, toilet paper holders too small for toilet paper, plastic hooks on random walls. Nothing major.

Thank you for your review, complements and observations. I am sorry you had trouble with the lock box and television. The lock box is a standard style for rentals, purchased new and only two years old. Maybe the desert sand made it tough to open. We will clean and lubricate the hinges. The TV is a brand new Smart TV that offers many functions, and viewing free cable channels. The instructions are in a plastic clear envelope that I hope you found by the TV. I'm sorry the toilet paper rolls were a mega size and discovered after the package was opened. I am curious about the plastic hooks on random walls. I know of one hook by the dishwasher, that is used to hang a towel. We will check the screen doors. I do appreciate your input. Thank you.

fun in the sun

Condo is in a great location, central to golf, resraurants. We do however have three issues. one is proximity to train, you can hear it through the night. Second we like having something open at night, you can hear the water fountain all night. Third several pieces of furniture have boards in them, not very comfortable. Beds comfortable, everything provided as far as towels, kitchenware.

Thank you for your review. I will check with the CC about the fountain being on all night ... I wish you would have told me sooner and I may have been able to do something then ... The boards are to reinforce the structure of the rattan chairs, the cushions are very thick and brand new. We're glad to hear the beds were comfortable and you had all the amenities you needed. Gorgeous View

The view from this unit is spectacular and the host, Kelly, never failed to reply quickly to any questions we had from the moment we booked this unit. The bed in the master bedroom is very comfortable and there is a nice separation between the master and guest bedrooms on the upper floor. For those aware of the train that runs nearby, I have to say it really isn’t an issue. The only downside is that there is not an outdoor barbecue and the layout for watching tv in the evening isn’t very comfortable if there are more than 2 people in your group.

Sorry no bbq but there is not one listed in our amenities. We realize the tv room is a small room. We’ve brought a chair in from the front room for viewers comfort. If the tv was in the front of the house, we’d have glare during the day … so we’re still looking for that best viewing location. Thank you for your review. Safe travels
