Most Spectacular View and Sunsets on Magnificent Lake Atitlan

Casa Tzampoc is nestled on a hill overlooking the 3 volcanos that created Lake Atitlan. It is situated between the Mayan villages of Santa Catarina Palopo and San Antonio Palopo and next to two of the most prestigious boutique hotels on the lake. Restaurants and fabulous shopping for local crafts are located minutes away in authentic Mayan villages and the larger town of Panajachel.

The house is furnished exclusively with antique and hand made furniture, local textiles, ceramics and crafts. The kitchen is fully equipped for a gourmet cook, which can be arranged. The interior space is separated by an atrium and stairs to private bedroom and bathroom areas. There are views of the volcanos and outside areas from every room through beautiful mahogany windows and doors.

The private swimming pool, nestled in the garden, is heated by solar panels and maintained every day by Nicholas, our houseman. The house is beautifully kept every morning by Suli, our maid.

All transportation and excursions can be arranged with advance notice.

Itā€™s all about the view! Important to know if youā€™re not physically fit that the hill to the house is very steep & the walk to town about 15-20 minutes. Youā€™ll need to be able to climb into the back of the pick up truck for arrival-4WD required. There's no ATM. Restaurants & groceries are very limited, you may be able to eat at the hotel next door, otherwise youā€™ll need to hire the cook which is quite costly nearly 400 for two dinners and two breakfasts.

Amazing Family vacation rental!

Everything about our stay was wonderful! The house is exactly as described, except words and pictures do not do the picturesque view justice. My children loved the private pool. Daniel, the concierge/manager, was so helpful and responsive. Teresa cooked us a delicious breakfast each morning and it was a great way to start the day. Highly recommend this property.

Waking up to volcano views

Book it! Absolutely amazing place, location, service, food. Every room has a view and outdoor access. Nicolas, Daniel, Ramiro, and the cleaning lady were all top notch. Booking lanchas and tours with them were a breeze and cheaper/on par for pricing. Couldnā€™t have asked for a better stay!

I highly recommend this property. The views were out of this world amazing, the house was large and fully stocked. The outdoor areas & the landscaping were gorgeous! All of the staff were so friendly and helpful. Nothing but great things to say, you wonā€™t regret staying here.

We celebrated my motherā€™s birthday at the Lake and this home was amazing! All of the staff were super helpful and friendly. Whenever I had questions, the concierge Abner, was only a text away. I would recommend this place to anyone whoā€™s stays in this area.

Beautiful house beautiful view

The views of the Lake are impeccable. House was well stocked completely clean. I would highly recommend this house. I especially appreciated the concierge help for planning our lake day, shuttles to and from Lake AtitlƔn, this alone was very important in our trip. Relax and take in the magic of Lago AtitlƔn in this great spot!

Amazing Place

Our stay was magical! The views are to die for and the house beautiful. The property manager Daniel and caretaker Nicolas were awesome and so kind to us. Highly recommend hiring a chef through Daniel to cook breakfast and dinner in the house for you! The hotel restaurant next door was also delicious and will bring meals to the house. Can't wait to go back!

Great getaway

It was a very pleasant stay. we chose to have the chef prepare our meals, they were good and timely. All staff was very polite and accommodating. I rented the house as a surprise form my mothers birthday, she loved it, was ready to extend the stay lol. Very happy over all. Thank you for a great experience.

Daniel was very helpful in verifying all the logistics from transportation to having 2 dinners and a breakfast prepared at the house (the food was amazing). Nicholas was always ensuring every need was taken care of in a timely fashion. A trip highlight at Lake Atitlan for all of us.
