This beautiful 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom retreat is perfect for families, friends, and outdoor lovers, offering breathtaking bay views and direct lake access for an unforgettable stay.



Inside, unwind in the cozy living area next to the large stone indoor fireplace or cook with ease in the fully stocked kitchen, which features a new glass-top stove and pure well water. For those mixing work and play, a dedicated workspace is also available. High-speed WiFi and four smart TVs ensure you stay connected and entertained.



- Master Bedroom: Features a Queen bed, a private bathroom, and two French doors that open directly onto the deck with its stunning lake views.

For thrill-seekers, Silverwood Theme Park is just 40 minutes away. Year-round fun awaits at Schweitzer Mountain Resort, offering skiing, snowboarding, hiking, and scenic chairlift rides. Getting around is easy! While a car is recommended to fully explore the area, here's some information to help you plan your trip. Free parking is available on the premises and on the street. For those arriving by air, the closest airport is Spokane International Airport (GEG), approximately a 1.5-hour drive away. Sandpoint Airport (SZT) is a smaller regional airport about 20 minutes away. Consider using ride-sharing services or taxis for transportation to and from the cabin. Public transportation options are limited in this area, so planning ahead is key. Enjoy your journey!

August Retreat

We had a great time at the Lake Pend Oreille house. The weather was perfect for hiking, swimming, fishing and boating. The amenities provided (kayaks, paddle boards, paddle boat AND fishing poles) made for a fun stay. We look forward to coming back next summer.

Beautiful property

We enjoyed the house and properties. The kayaks, hot tub and fire pit were great extras. I would say you need to be fit physically yo do all the stairs and all bathrooms downstairs can be challenge from upstairs as stairs are steep.

Perfect friends getaway on stunning Ponderay

Property as stated, pictures donā€™t do it justice. Views are incredible from cabin, deck yard and dock. Deck has nice furniture and plenty of room for all, spent most of our evenings there by the fire table, good conversations with great friends. Memories were made at this beautiful home. Sleeps 6 adults comfortably. Ample parking, very convenient. Steep hill down to the water and dock but thatā€™s expected of a waterfront home on a deep pristine lake. Good stairs and walkway makes it very easy to accomplish. Dock was the perfect place to hangout during the day, perfect for our boat. The owners have thought of every possible amenity to make your stay perfect. Weā€™d love to stay here again, would highly recommend to anyone whoā€™s looking for an amazing time at a beautiful place in stunning Northern Idaho!

Fantastic lake vacation property

This vacation lake home was just what we were looking for. The home was very clean, comfortable, and had breathtaking views. The kitchen had everything needed for meals for dining in or picnic on the dock. Can't say enough about the amenities! We enjoyed the fire pit, kayak, SUP board, and simply fishing from the dock. The convienent boathouse was a bonus! The owners seem to truly enjoy sharing their amazing home with guests. Overall great home. I rated the check in process less than ideal as I had to call to find out when the checkin instructions would be provided. Made me a little leery not hearing from the property mgmt company leading up to the day before our trip. It all worked out just fine, but in today's world of scams, just added a little more stress than needed. Simple fix with advance communication from property mgmt of when and what to expect.

Sable Cabin Bottleneck bay

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was the right mix of new and old that felt like staying in a lake cabin, not a lake mansion. The views were incredible. Sitting on the deck after dinner and watching the lake ,the birds the scenery was my favorite part, it was refilling to the soul.

Simply the best!

This place is incredible! The view when you walk in is so amazing - it never got old after 6 nights there. The house was supplied with everything a person could need for a lake vacation. Loaf and Ladle is a 15 minute walk down the road. Otherwise we enjoyed the two grills at the house to make all our our meals. I didnā€™t want to leave!

A very special place...

Wow! This property is amazing. The home is super comfortable and amazingly well-stocked with everything we needed. We spent most evenings down at the boathouse/lawn area BBQing. The dock is great and there is a good selection of kayaks and life jackets. Best skipping rocks ever can be found on the beach! The views are spectacular looking out to the lake and mountains. Hot tub in the gazebo is a great addition. We'd go back in a heartbeat (and will)!

We LOVED this house!

From the moment we walked in and found our handwritten note welcoming us (with special goodies to boot!), the gentle sound of water waking up with us each morning to the fun boat house, hot tub by the water, private dock, kayaks, SUP and fire pit by the lake - we never wanted to leave! The only downside was the hot spot for wifi didn't work too well (with three teenage girls and the two of us) trying to use it for music/xbox but we learned to adapt. We made wonderful memories and even rented a boat for several days to go with the covered boat lift and that just made it perfect. We will be back. Thank you so much!

Private Summer Lake House with all amenities included - dog friendly!

We loved the fun communications and welcome gifts from the owners on arrival - we were briefly misled by WAZE on directions to house, but finally figured it out - about 45 minutes from Silverwood so kids had fun but wish we could have stayed at house longer to enjoy the kayak, paddleboard, paddle boats and swimming off the dock - the hot tub was greatly appreciated as well. Very steep to get from parking to house and from house down to lake but steps made it easier - not for anyone with knee or hip issues. Very well stocked kitchen - and Sandpoint relatively close for grocery store. Great instructions for house we had a blast kids all wanted to come back soon

Live the Harris cabin

Great winter cabin getaway

In the midst of crazy winter weather the owners and manager worked very hard to ensure the cabin was accessible able welcoming. The space itself is cozy, warm and inviting. It was the perfect place for us to escape and spend time with our family over a holiday weekend. One note of caution, at the turn off to bay drive there is a steep downhill. In order for us to make it without sliding into the ditch we had to chain up, even with an awd SUV and new tires.

Amazing!!!

We have stayed at this amazing vacation rental in both summer and winter now! I love the charming lake cabin feel of it and all the little special attention to detail. Theres even a basket they provide with washable house slippers for our cold feet and another for commonly forgotten items like a toothbrush or razor (new in the package of course ;) I thought this was so cleaver! We've stayed at alot of vacation rentals and these touches really are special! One new addition since the last time we stayed was a little hottub right at the lakeside! My family thought this really made this place even more perfect! What a magical time to visit too as the fire place was beautiful, we could still fish, theres great skiing not far away, and there were some nice areas to walk, or snowshoe...we cant wait to come back in either season!!!

If you want a great experience with ever little detail thought out this is the place. From having wood for the fire, a cheese grater when I needed it, to fans in the room just to name a few of many. Awesome views and great parking. Dont miss out on a great place and they love dogs!

A cozy cabin getaway on a beautiful lake!!

This cabin has it all. So many little extra touches to make sure your visit is comfortable and special. We enjoyed spending most of our days on the dock or in the grass by the fire pit. The boats and paddle board were so much fun! Highly recommend this spot for families or a couples retreat.

Beautiful cabin with amazing views of Lake Pend Oreille

Couldnā€™t ask for a better location - the views are incredible and the cabin itself is just as impressive. We have stayed at many rentals, and never have we stayed at one that was as fully stocked as the Harris cabin. Every detail was considered - from shampoo to cooking supplies, fishing gear to a basket full of items that you may have forgot on your trip (toothbrush, q-tips, bandaids, etc). We spent our days on the dock and evenings building puzzles overlooking the lake. What a perfect vacation. Thank you to the Harris family got generously sharing your piece of paradise with us - we look forward to returning next year.

The cabin is on the lake and the boat lift was fantastic! We had our kids and grandkids with us and everyone loved the place. We had a great week!

Beautiful, Clean, One Of A Kind Gem!

We absolutely loved our stay. The cabin is clean, well stalked for cooking and relaxing. The views are unbelievable. We loved the extra parking for our boat trailer. The boathouse and beach area was a hit with the whole family. This place has been loved and well laid out for others to enjoy. Weā€™ll be back!
