Secluded waterfront with private deep water dock. 5 miles from Sandpoint WiFi

Welcome to the Kottage. Take a deep breath and let the scenic beauty and abundant wildlife inspire you. In the summer enjoy all the activities that Lake Pend Orielle has to offer. Swim, boat, Sail or just relax at the waters edge. You also have many hiking and cycling trails.
Come for lost in the 50's, Arts and Crafts Fair, Wooden Boat Show, or the Festival at Sandpoint.

During the winter enjoy skiing at Schweitzer Mtn. Resort or snow mobiling at Trestle Creek or one of the many other trails.

The comfortable feel of the Kottage includes a full living room with a riverrock fireplace and 40' Flatscreen TV with cable and DVD. Free Wi guest privileges. There is a full kitchen with a microwave and coffe pot. There is a laundry room with washer and dryer.
The living room, dining room and master bedroom all have awesome views of the lake and Schweitzer Mountain.

The Kottage is 5 miles to Sandpoint which offers wonderful art galleries, microbrews, winery, shopping and excellent dining on the water.

Tranquil cottage

Wonderful setting and vwry relaxing. Views are amazing and the bird population serenades you! Cattage has all the comforta of home and the hosts are great, kind people. Has freag brownies and wine when we arrived! Loved our time in this little piece of paradise!

Another great stay at Kitt’s

This was our third family trip to the same property. It’s location is perfect - close to town but not too close, far from train tracks, beautiful views and excellent dock! The house is always clean and welcoming on arrival, and the hosts really care about the happiness of their renters (they helped out with a charger when our van battery died). We hope to be able to visit a fourth time!

Great property

This house is at a great location close to Sandpoint for runs into town and right on the lake. We played on our private dock all day. House was clean and spacious. The photos don’t do this property justice. There is no AC, but lots of fans. It can get warm in the evenings, especially when it’s close to 100 degrees out. House was fully stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Easy to get ahold of the property owners and they left a delicious welcome gift for us. Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.

Spectacular view

We had a wonderful time the view is spectacular,, accommodations was perfect we will be back , the Brownies are the best also, the boat dock is perfect, short walk to the private boat dock. Memories forever

Best week ever!

This property is on the lake with its own private dock. We spent the whole week on the dock with a boat and a waverunner. The property is excellent, the hosts are readily available, and we loved every minute of it. The kitchen is super well stocked, the outside seating areas and furniture were fantastic! We loved every second...

Great access to beautiful surroundings

Great jumping off point for our family- We loved having the dock to take our boat exploring around this beautiful lake as well as the close proximity to Schweitzer and Sandpoint.

Wonderful, family vacation

The cottage is very well maintained and was perfect for our family for the week. We enjoyed being on the water and still close to town. Well equipped for young families. Kitt and Roland are great hosts!

Relaxing getaway, beautiful scenery

Comfortable accommodations, welcoming hosts, and beautiful scenery! Excellent spot to relax and unwind from the daily grind. Easy access to the lake, swim directly off the private dock. Close to many eateries and local shops too. Highly recommend!

Amazing Location

We had an amazing stay starting with homemade brownies and huckleberry wine. Kitts cottage was truly relaxing and private and an incredible view from the dock. I would recommend to anyone and definitely coming again

Great Vacation on the Lake

Wow! Great cottage on the lake and perfect location. Very well stocked, exceptionally clean, beautiful view and nice new large dock to hang out in the Sun on the lake. Kitt and Roland are the best hosts EVER! We had a fantastic time riding our bikes around the lake. Kitt’s Brownies are delicious! The cabin is very nicely furnished and we can’t wait to come back. Thank You Kitt and Roland for sharing your cottage with us we had a wonderful vacation. 10 Stars.....

Wonderful Lake house

This place was great! We were greeted by the owners who left a treat for us inside. House was clean and well stocked with everything we could need. We even locked ourselves out of the house but the hosts unlocked the door before we returned home with no problem. We will definitely be going back to this one!

What a perfect spot! Lakefront splendor just steps out the door and only minutes from Sandpoint--the best of both. This house was perfect for our family, everything we needed was readily available (just as described). Kitt and Roland were gracious and highly responsive hosts. This is a gem.

Charming Lakeside cottage

It was a great stay! starting with a bottle of wine and fresh brownies! Everything was clean and tidy. Well stocked kitchen. The owners are great to work with. I called with a couple questions and they were very responsive. Great dock to park a boat and swim off. Highly recommend

We had a great time at the lake!!!

The dock and picnic area was awesome to have. We tied our sea-doos to them and had fun all weekend. The owners were really accommodating and let us park our long trailer in another one of there lots.

Great Location! Clean and cute! Brownies and white zin on the table for a welcome!

The property and stay and location was all great. It is close to town yet far enough away that you didn't have to be bothered by the noise of town (except train traffic across the lake but that can't be avoided anywhere near the town of Sandpoint). It's just a great little location and the owners were fantastic, met us when we arrived. They did not bother us in any way and I felt like they were available at a moment's notice if necessary. I would recommend it to a friend!

A Wonderful Place to Spend a Vacation

The cottage has all the amenities needed for a great vacation. Nothing to worry about it. The view is gorgeous, and spending time down by the lake, up on the deck or balcony was wonderful. Between us getting ready for our daughter's wedding and all the planning it involves we had just enough time to savor this place beauty. Thank you Kitt and Roland. We highly recommend your rental.

Great vacation rental

Family stayed for a week in mid-August. Cabin had everything and we had a great time on the water and in Sandpoint. Weather wasn't great and the owner came to the cabin and offered us the chance to stay an extra day on the weekend. She didn't have to do that and we really appreciated the extra day in the sun with friends and family. Highly recommend. Owner was spectacular. Setting was great. Can't say enough.
