Great beach front home!

The property was beautiful! The kitchen was fully equipped. The host was very easy to communicate with and very responsive to any questions or concerns we had while on our stay. The property description was accurate. It was a great space for my large family. Would highly recommend this property to others, especially if you have a large family.

We felt that we were misled by some of the photos leading that it was a beachfront when actually it was a jungle front, and the only beach view was really from the very top tower. The trees and weeds were terrible and overgrown!! The master bathroom was horrible with mold in the shower, faucet and along by the toilet, which I have photos of and the kitchen wasn’t clean either. need to update the pots and pans, broken pots and pans there was no glass in the refrigerator, broken burner, broken toaster, where toast fell in, broken glass window with it falling in between the window panes. The outside was horrendous with the overgrown of shrubs. A good power washing and some cleanup of landscaping is much needed, there was trash around the boardwalk. The place needs a deep cleaning inside and out. Also, it would’ve been great to have kitchen towels and dish rags to clean off the counter as we had to clean it and around facets/sink. Lights needed light bulbs. The downstairs smelled very musty, moldy.

Great Family Trip!

Loved being a short walk to the beach. The boardwalk was perfect. Was a great space for family. The kids loved the tower!

Great Stay!

Absolutely breathtaking views from this home, and just a short walk to the beach! Check-in was seamless, and communication with property management was quick and helpful. I’d definitely stay here again. Don’t miss Cool Runnings for some amazing Jamaican food!

Very disappointing view, nothing like the picture. The pic posted needs to be updated. Now it's overgrown with trees and brush.I rarely complain about rentals. This large house had 2 or 3 hangers in total. Most bedrooms do not have a closet or proper drawers to put clothes in. 3 levels of AC controlled by one thermostat. In August the upper level (with the only worthwhile view) was too hot to be in. Toaster was broken on one side. Drip coffee maker brews the coffee then immediately shuts off. Could not keep hot coffee. Very poor lighting over the dining room table where we tried to play cards and games. Trash cans were almost full. One is labeled " pick up every other Tuesday", that's helpful. Is this the correct Tuesday? When I called the office, they said their company puts the trash cans out on Wednesday, I think. It was just confusing.My suggestion to the management company: have a few employees and their family stay in your rentals now and them to see what improvements can be made.

Great Spot

Beautiful location with delightful views was a lovely getaway. We grilled and ordered out. The kitchen was great and we loved the large table for gathering z!

Beach house

Nice place on the beach with a long boardwalk down to the beach. We saw loads of wildlife; deer, squirrels, birds etc. the layout of the home was great for a get together with friends.

Plenty of room for everyone and well stocked. The views are amazing, and on a clear day you can see the Chicago skyline from the beach. We enjoyed the deer in the backyard with our morning coffee.

Great views and meeting space

Loved the setting of this home. Was perfect for our work meetings. Kitchen lacks many helpful cooking implements, like spatulas, serving spoons, etc.

Lake Michigan beach house rental in Mich City, In

The beach house was great, the weather was perfect , and the beach was beautiful. The house provided everything needed plus extra beach chairs and a beach wagon. The wood/railed walkway to the beach was great and only wish it could have been a little longer . The perfect beach experience.

Perfect Place for Our Family Get Away

Wonderful Friend Reunion

This property was perfect for our old friends grade school reunion. The kitchen is nicely appointed and the large kitchen table made for nice group meals. We would have appreciated a functioning grill though. The location to the beach was great! No complaints about the beds/bedrooms. The home is very nice and we enjoyed our time there very much! Other than the lack of a functioning grill, a great stay!

Great Location - House needs some attention

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I grew up in the beach area of Michigan City and spent much or our adult life there. We miss the lake and return every summer to see family and spent time at the beach. The property had a great location and the beaches in Sheridan Beach are some of the best on Lake Michigan. The house needs a deep cleaning inside and out. The kids were comparing how dirty their feet and socks were after walking on the floor for a few hours. There was a strong musty smell when we arrived so we opened the widows. The air conditioning kept the garden floor very cold but the main floor was uncomfortably warm during the day despite having the AC run full time. We only found one beach towel and one beach chair. We didn't realize there was a nice grill and a beach wagon in the storage garage until we were there for several days. I would have been nice to have a note letting us know of this storage area. It is very damp in the storage area. There was an umbrella laying on the damp floor that we didn't attempt to use as it looked rather dirty. The property company was very responsive. We had two minor maintenance issue that were dealt with quickly. Not trying to be too negative just want to let someone know so they can make this great location even better.

Kids loved the lookout tower. Right next to the boardwalk so beach was an short walk. Office kept us informed and they responded quickly with a tv problem. They were very helpful.
