This property will literally take your breath away with incredible ocean views from every angle! With large open plan living areas and balconies on three sides, it’s actually difficult to know where to go first!

Pt. Cartwright is a slice of land between the river and the sea and is home to the iconic lighthouse and water tower! It is a well known top tourist destination on the Sunshine Coast with its grassy areas, rocky cliffs and sandy beaches!

The property itself sits on the 11th floor, sub penthouse, and with only 2 units per floor (1 on the north side and 1on the south side) you have panoramic views of the entire coast. Unit 24 is located on the preferred north side and is 180 sqm.

We can recommend sitting on the oceanside for morning tea/coffee while watching the sunrise and all the activity on the beachside with the surfers, wind surfers and of course the crashing waves! Then later in the day move over to the Mooloolaba riverside and enjoy the sunset and all the activity in Mooloolaba while watching the boats come in from a day on the water!

This fully secure complex features a resort style pool and BBQ area overlooking the entrance to the Mooloolaba river, as well as the beautifully maintained gardens.

Every room with an amazing view!

We enjoyed our stay at this amazing apartment. The sea, surf and marina views were amazing. The apartment had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. We were surprised there were no ceiling fans in the bedrooms as they got very stuffy and quite warm on the balmy nights as there is no air-conditioning in the apartment. The mobile fan provided was too noisy to use while sleeping. This is the only suggestion we have to make otherwise the location was perfect.

Stunning views and beautiful apartment

We stayed here for 9 days from 4 March 2019 .We enjoyed it thoroughly and are thinking of returning next year.The views in all directions are stunning. There are lovely walks nearby.It is all laid back with people swimming in the estuary with their dogs,and some people opting to go to the beach on the seaside.Many boats,including the pilot boats heading off to Brisbane to guide ships entering the Brisbane River,coming and going through the estuary, Several excellent golf courses nearby. We enjoyed dinner at Air Antica ,a nearby Italian restaurant.Very tasty meal. We had everything we needed including many books. No wonder that guests from Oregon have stayed here 5 times.Highly recommended.

Lovely unit. Amazing views.

We have stayed at this property for the past couple of years and it truly does have the most amazing views, location and privacy. The unit is well suited to couples sharing or a family - with a well-fitted out kitchen, great decks overlooking still and ocean beach and amazing breezes everyday. Yes, the furniture is a little dated (as clearly shown in the pics) - but this is such a minor point when everything is so clean and comfortable; including the supplied linens. For those who like to be a little bit away from the 'hustle' of popular tourist centres (like Mooloolaba) but still within easy reach if you want to go out, you really can't get any better. There are good local cafes and takeaways within easy walking distance and Kawana shopping centre about 5 mins drive away. But to not put too fine a point on it, this unit is about the views. Sit back, relax and sip a glass of wine as you watch the world go by - it really doesn't get much better.

A great place to stay

As good as the photos of this unit look on your monitor, the views in person, looking out at the harbor and sea, are spectacular. This unit has great views of the water from every room in the property. The photos are accurate but they can not convey how magical this place is. The harbor, with boats coming and going, is always interesting to watch. The point, with surfers and stand up paddlers is fun to watch from the condo, and is only a short stroll away. On the first days of our arrival there were 4 meter waves with surfers putting on a show at the point. The beach is beautiful and is great for walking on either the sand or the sidewalk and boardwalk that runs along the beach. The unit has everything you need for a good stay, and there is a shopping center less than 5 minutes away that has everything you might need to buy. The shopping center, Kawana Shoppingworld, is much larger than it appears from the street. It will have anything you might need. The kitchen is good for cooking, great views again, and my wife says the amenities were lovely. There is a convenience store and fish and chips stand within walking distance (a few blocks), and also a nice cafe for breakfast and lunch. Here is tip: Wireless service and good connectivity to the internet was a problem for us, but there is an easy fix. The public library is just down the street. Nice library, nice librarians, and free wi-fi with good reception and connectivity and also desktops you can use. If you're going to Australia from the USA, fly to Brisbane, rent a car, and drive an hour to Point Cartwright. Spend a week adjusting to Australian time in the best place in the world to recover from jet lag. We give this unit and Buddina our highest recommendation. I would like to return here. My wife would like to live here permanently. That gives you an idea of how much we liked it. Nice people to rent from too. They took care of all of the details. Thank you.

Spectacular in every way

Over the years we have travelled from Cairns through, Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne but for us there is only one place to relax and enjoy life --- the Sunshine Coast and specifically this outstanding property at Point Cartwright. We come here every other year for several weeks at a time. The attractions are many: Sailing, kayaking and surfing for lovers of water sports; numerous golf courses within a 30 min drive. Nearby is the Australian Zoo and the Glass House mountains. The major attraction for us is the condo itself. Sunrises and sunsets over the Coral Sea and Mooloolaba harbour are the icing on the cake.

Truly special

My family just spent a week here. After a hectic week traveling and trying to see as much of Australia as we could, this was the perfect place to kick back and relax. Terrific views from the 3 balconies. Incredible sunsets. Lovely and spacious accommodations. Easy strolls to the beach and lighthouse. Convenient to Australia Zoo, Glass House mountains, Mooloolaba, and more. Fresh seafood nearby. Great value. I highly recommend this place, and would definitely stay again if I ever make it back!

Perfect

We stayed at Point Cartwright Aug 2009 and the unit is exactly as advertised. The views are incredible and the unit is large, clean and quiet. Our week there was one of the highlights of our six week Australian trip. Highly recommended.
