Our stay was made comfortable because of the wonderful space and community. Everything was clean and so welcoming. I highly recommend it and when in that area again I will definitely stay again!

The cottage was so cute and I appreciated how the property owner shared some of the history of the home and about the art of the former owner. So adorable and made the stay even more special for my friends and I!

Such a uniquely decorated cottage! Close to Ligonier and Latrobe. Has everything we needed. Host was very responsive. This is my second stay at this property.

The Cottage is so charming! Not only was it comfortable, clean and had everything we needed, it was aesthetically pleasing. I've stayed at many Vrbo's, the cottage is hands down our new favorite place to stay. We spent a lot of time on the deck, which is so lovely. The property is well maintained and even though you aren't far from restaurants, stores and activities, you feel nestled in the woods and it was so relaxing. Our hosts were so helpful and communicated well. We are giving the cottage a 5 star review!!

Beechwood Cottage

This cottage is lovely and comfortable and welcoming. The property is peaceful and beautiful. The owners are friendly and helpful. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Magical weekend

My friends and I had a magical weekend at the cottage. We’ve never stayed anywhere as clean, well appointed and charming. We’re already planning our return!

Lovely home near Ligonier

The home is immaculate and very close to Ligonier, Laurel Mountain and many outdoor activities. I had some last minute questions and the owner responded immediately. Check in was easy. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

So comfortable I would love to live there

My husband and I were so comfortable at Tom’s cottage we could live there. It was centrally located for visiting all the sites. Fallingwater, Kentuck Knob and Flight 93 Memorial. The owner accomodated our special request above and beyond my expectation.

Wonderful stay! My family really enjoyed our stay at the Cottage. The cottage was spacious and immaculately clean!! We enjoyed cooking out and relaxing on the beautiful deck. The cottage is well-maintained and it is apparent that the owners take pride in the condition of the cottage and want guests to enjoy their stay. Tom answered emails immediately and was extremely pleasant. We hope to stay again soon!

Sisters weekend

My sisters and I had a weekend getaway at this quaint little cottage. It fit our needs wonderfully. Vert clean, well stocked, quaintly furnished and great neighborhood/location. Unfortunately it was a rainy weekend so we were unable to utilize the cute back patio. If we ever decide to make a return visit to Ligonier, we would definitely choose to stay here again.

Great, cozy cabin.

Everything great. A bit mildewy smelling but weather's been hot and humid. Probably would help to keep the AC at a lower temp.

Thanks Teresa for the review.. For future visitors - We experienced a problem with a failed dehumidifier (it was replaced the day we figured out it was not working) leading to higher than normal humidity in the house for a short period of time. Now that this situation is corrected, we don't anticipate future issues with unusual humidity levels. We hope Teresa will return again and we're glad she enjoyed her stay.

It's always so nice to get compliments like this! Thank you, Dana. When we opened up our home to guests 12 years ago, one of the goals we set for ourselves was to provide an accommodation that's different...creative...and not like most folks' regular homes - and a place that is well-prepared, very clean and carefully cared for. We hope when Dana comes back for another stay, (or you choose us for your first one ;-)... that one will be just as nice as her first visit.

Beechwood Cottage

1 daughter, 2 small sons, and 2 grandmothers from Ohio enjoyed a lovely 3 days at the cottage. Days were spent at nearby Idlewild park and soak zone and it was wonderful to come “home” and unwind afterward. The cottage has all the amenities we needed and more. We were lucky enough to meet Tom, the owner, and he gave us a brief history of the house!! Ver cozy and just as described. We loved it!

Family Reunion

The cottage was very nice and clean. Only complaint is there is really no shower in the master bath only a tub with a hand held shower head but no shower curtain. Everyone had to use the one shower in the main bath. We made it work because the location was close to other family members staying in Ligionier.

I am a repeat customer at this cozy, safe, comfortable cottage. Tom and Christen are fantastic; respect your privacy while also being available for anything. No stress check out! Not a huge list of things to do before leaving. The highlights during this visit were the new Bluetooth/vinyl record player and seeing several very colorful birds! Honestly, this place just keeps getting better and better:) Will 100% return.

Highland Games and Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival

We had a wonderful time. The cottage was spacious and comfortable. ( Three bedrooms and two baths. ) The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies. The property was only a few miles from Idewild Park where the Highland Games were held. The property owners reached out to see how we were doing and if we had any questions. The property instructions were clear and simple. I would stay there again!

Cottage

We rented this adorable little cottage to bring our grandchildren to Idlewild and Soad Zone for a few days. We ended up calling it the Storybook Forest cottage for all the charm it held. It was very clean and met all of our needs. The only downside was we had to check out a day early as the parks all closed due to some minor rain, what a disappointment that was. The best part of the cottage for us was sitting outside and listening to all the birds and watching all the little squirrels. The owners were very easy to communicate with.
