Beautiful Country Sunsets I

Quaint, cozy one bedroom barn cabin in the country that sleeps up to 3 Adults. Located on a mountain ridge with a beautiful view on 15 acres. On the edge of Daniel Boone National Forrest and only 15 min from Cave Run Lake and 45 min from Red River Gorge.

Relax on the deck overlooking the beautiful sunset while the grill is sizzling. The property is covered with wild flowers, blackberries, wooded and open areas and plenty of wildlife. Finish off the night relaxing around the giant bonfire near the pond (NO SWIMMING ALLOWED) and listening to the crickets and frogs while discussing the days fun at the lake. If you enjoy peace and quiet, beautiful scenery and sunsets, horses, and the ability to take a quick trip to the lake, then this spot is for you! In addition this location is on the edge of Daniel Boone National Forest and only 45 minutes from the Red River Gorge. Perfect location for many different types of day trips and then return to peace and quiet!

This property is shared with one other rental unit and our home as well, but still has plenty of privacy for your stay.

Perfectly relaxing!

We absolutely loved staying here. It was our second time. We didnā€™t want to leave the beautiful scenery and nature. The lighting bugs light up the sky at night. Amazing!! Birds were everywhere. It's become our go to place. We will be back again.

Great get away

Coming up from Tennessee for a family reunion. Cabin was immaculately clean and had everything one can need. Beautiful sunsets and great morning coffee on the porch . Two beautiful horses made sure they got their daily apple from us . Hosts were extremely friendly and made us feel at home. Enjoyed the peace and quiet with great view and fresh farm eggs. We had a great time and hopefully will be back soon.

Anniversary get away

Todd and Lisa are amazing. The cabin was what I was expecting. It was small but just what we needed. Zeus met their horse and pony which he had never been around before and loved them. We fed them carrots and apples. We have already talked about planning another trip down for maybe next year. The cabin was stocked with everything we could have needed except a mop (lol). We did drive around and look at the beautiful scenery but didnā€™t get to walk much due to rain. We will be back

Way out there

Didnā€™t realize when booking it was sooooo far away from everything. Fortunately I packed food because weā€™ll never did see a grocery store. Had an issue with the hot water but it was addressed quickly. Loved the view at sunset. Great if you are looking for piece and quiet. It so great if you are looking to be close to activities.

Awesome View

We had a spectacular time and the views from the porch are the icing on the cake! We loved our entire time at the cabin. The horses & cats are super friendly! Lisa & Todd are attentive and extremely helpful along with being two friendly people. We plan on coming back. We were here for 10 days and it was convenient for us to make day trips across Kentucky and even into Ohio.

We were looking for a weekend away and this place did just the trick. The kitchen was well stocked and the most prepared hosts I have ever stayed with. The space was spacious and homey and the bed was very comfortable. It was nice to interact with the horses and be out from everything, but not to far to find food and places to hang out. We canā€™t wait to come back again!

Perfect Cozy Cabin!

This was a perfect quick getaway for my husband, son, puppy, and me. The cabin is cozy and meticulously clean. The view from the porch was beautiful! Itā€™s a bit out of the way but that was what we were looking for. Lisa was great. We had to change our original plans and she was very helpful with rescheduling and allowing us to bring our pup on short notice. We are already talking about staying here again on our next trip to the area. Thanks!
