Beautiful country sunsets II

Brand new 12 x 20 cabin that sleeps 2 Adults. Located on a mountain ridge with a beautiful view on 15 acres. On the edge of Daniel Boone National Forrest and only 15 minutes from Cave Run Lake and 45 minutes from Red River Gorge.

Relax on the porch or deck overlooking the beautiful sunset while the grill is sizzling. The property is covered with wild flowers, blackberries, wooded and open areas and plenty of wildlife. Finish off the night relaxing around the giant bonfire near the pond (NO SWIMMING ALLOWED) and listening to the crickets and frogs while discussing the days fun at the lake (this is a shared area with the other rental unit). If you enjoy peace and quiet, beautiful scenery, sunsets, horses, and the ability to take a quick trip to the lake, then this spot is for you! In addition, this location is on the edge of Daniel Boone National Forest and only 15 minutes from Cave Run Lake and 45 minutes from the Red River Gorge. Perfect location for many different types of day trips and then return to peace and quiet!

This property is shared with one other rental unit and our home as well, but still has plenty of privacy for your stay.

Adorable rustic cabin

The cabin was adorable, cozy, and SO comfortable. There was bad weather while I was there which changed my plans, and the host was so nice and accommodating, and let me check out 2 hours later which was very much appreciated. I would absolutely stay again!!

Nice stay in the country

A great little cabin.

The cabin is absolutely awesome for a small cabin. Plus great sunsets, beautiful horses in the fields and sweet cats outside. Hosts are great communicators and very helpful. You will love this problem.

Quiet Escape

This was an amazing KY trip to an amazing new cabin that is complete with comforts like a variety of family/friendly games, books, tv, fire pit, kitchen, range/oven, utensils/dishes, detergents, cups/glasses, refrigerator/freezer, hvac system, fan light, shower, towels/hand towels, and washer/dryer. This quiet escape offers fresh eggs, views of the pastures that are complete with two friendly horses off the front porch. My two dogs also enjoyed this escape. There are also a few chairs on the porch also a propane/charcoal combo grill and a small deck nearest the fire pit. Plenty of parking exists. Take in the air outside or open windows with ease. Our host Lisa was amazingly responsive and was open with any communication. This escape also offers up star gazing on any clear night. The cabin is tastefully and warmly decorated and in a comfortable and practical way. Instacart delivered my groceries from the Kroger grocer during my 7 day stay. I was the first winter customer and the cabin was ideal for that too. I was able to make home-like hot breakfast and dinner. I am a major Midwest city dweller and this was an escape from my city’s hustle and bustle. This escape gives reason to leave or escape the city. P.S. Lisa’s husband has a very talented hand as he custom architected the functional design of the cabin’s interior space to be beautiful, practical, functional, and aesthetic to all of your senses regardless to the duration of your stay.

Cozy cabin

This property was amazing. We just stayed for a weekend get away and we were blown away! Pretty horses and a beautiful cat we named Mr. Whiskers when we pulled in for the weekend. The cabin was fantastic and had everything you needed. We spent the cold evenings cooking in the kitchenette while watching movies. It was a lovely stay and we will be sure to come back again!

Great relaxing vacation

We really enjoyed staying at this cabin. It was beautiful, quiet, and relaxing. The cabin was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed, and the animals were very friendly! We especially enjoyed sitting by the fire pit in the evenings. We did a lot of hiking nearby at Cave Run Lake, Carter Caves, and Red River Gorge.

Little Kentucky getaway

We had an amazing time and the cabin was not far from Lexington and Red River Gorge. So there were a lot to do and explore. There is also great fossil hunting in Kentucky. The only thing is this all takes you to 325 Colfax and it's actually at 386 Colfax so we got a little confused. BRING APPLES FOR MOLLY, SHE IS AN ANGEL!!

Great country getaway!

Lisa was great and very responsive and obviously took great care to get the property ready for us. My fiance and my pup really enjoyed our quiet time in this beautiful little cabin, and we loved saying hello to the horses throughout the day. We have told our friends about it, and we hope to come back soon!

If your looking for a quite place with a beautiful view then look no further, and dont forget to go out and look up at night or your going to miss out! The owners are friendly and the cabin is nice and clean and has everything from a pizza cutter to a zester. There's a store not far that has hot food like chicken and pizza as well as some grocery items.

Quiet, relaxing, cozy atmosphere.

This was right up there with our best stay. The 5th wheel was clean, warm and inviting. Plenty large enough with all the comforts of home. Loved it. Will be going back. Tim, Darrell & Charles (the poodie).
