The Barn Smith Lake cottages

This cottage is designed to be ultra modern and efficient and literally sits on top of the water. With 2 king bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, along with a bunk room (1 set of twin over twin bunks), and a pull-out/rollaway bed. It sleeps 6- 8 guests and has a full kitchen, living area, washer dryer, outside deck, fire-pit and great water views. We also offer concierge services to fully stock each cottage with food, beverages and any other needs you might have when you arrive at the lake.

Nice location, beautiful views

We love this location on the lake, and the views from the living room and deck were gorgeous. Swimming right off the dock was wonderful with the kids. The house was clean, updated, and everything operational. Communication with the property manager was a bit lacking. They were late to send check in instructions, which would have been helpful in answering some questions in advance of arrival. I asked several questions about amenities and supplies and was not answered. Also, the listing is a little misleading as it says it sleeps 8 and I was told there were 2 bunks, implying 2 sets of bunk beds. Instead, the other sleep area was a bed-in-a-bag with no where to even set it up. Also, there was some damaged railing which was a little concerning with children. I would return to this property now that I know what to expect.

Memorial Day Get Away

We had a great short Memorial Day get away here. The location was perfect, and the service to stock the cabin with groceries and deliver the boat and jet ski to the dock was perfect for us since we were only there two days and needed to use our time wisely. We will definitely book again in the future.

Amazing Time

My family of 4 decided not to spend Thanksgiving with our extended family this year due to COVID-19. The house was amazing, very clean with an awesome view of the lake. We loved relaxing on the deck and watching/listening to the nature sounds. This was definitely a true get-a-way. We will be back.

Getaway

Fantastic getaway with gorgeous view. Much needed refresh for the mind and soul after being house bound these past six months. Everything you need provided. Plan to return when I need my next recharge.

The Best

The house was perfect for our stay...new, clean, modern. It had a beautiful view with the tall windows looking towards the lake and an awesome deck to enjoy the view. In my opinion, Smith Lake has its prettier areas and not so pretty areas...this is a very beautiful section of the lake. My wife and I really enjoyed our time there and would highly recommend. Peter is a great guy and great host. We would go back in a heartbeat!

Paradise on the lake

Our lake 3 night getaway could not have been better! The cottage is beautiful and the view, stunning. Peter and his staff could not have been more helpful! We will return!!

In Love on Lewis Smith Lake

To say we enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home is an understatement! First off, the property managers go above and beyond to show you the best hospitality and work with you all throughout your stay. The home is modern and clean~ I’m very picky and this place far exceeded all expectations. It’s was comfy with luxury furnishings and then waking up to the most incredible view! Since we couldn’t travel outside the country I was quite disappointed but not at all here! This place ranks up there with any location worldwide for scenery, ambiance and charm. If you have a chance to go do not miss out! We shall be back soon and often!

Worth it!

Absolutely wonderful property. The house was new and immaculate. The complex, which included another cottage, large home, and a luxurious "barn"- style entertainment building, were all very impressive. The views from our cottage were absolutely stunning. The maintenance man (Rooster) and the manager took incredible care of us and were immediately responsive to our texts. This is a world class establishment. We can't t wait to come back next year!

Amazing views and facilities!

The house is well stocked, super clean and has AMAZING views! Peter was great to work with and provided timely responses. The property is beautiful and has easy access to boat docks. We would definitely return again!
