The beach is next door, so bring lots of sunscreen. Alvin's Island - Miramar Beach #752 is just a half-mile away with plenty o,f swimsuits, beach towels, and floaties for your days at the beach. Head to Gulf-Angler Fishing Charters to get out on the water for your daily limit of saltwater fish.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the ā€œDamage Waiverā€). Great location with good amenities

Very nice small condo that was perfect for a weekend away. Great location with easy access to the beach. Very close to various restaurants and the outlets. Would stay here again!

Review of Surfside L7 condo

Nice, clean, well decorated unit. We liked that there was a wall separating the sleeping are from the rest of the space. Only problem we had was that the cable tv service stopped working the night we got there, but I was able to overcome that due to the fact I brought an Amazon Firestick with me that allowed me to watch Dish Network programming over wifi. We loved the location of the resort which made it convenient to visit our favorite restaurants and shops.

Stay away from this vacation home!

The sofa mattress was soaked with urine. The whole unit smelled horrible. My kids had to sleep on the floor on an air mattress during the whole stay because we never got a new sofa mattress. The rest of the unit was not too clean either. We enjoyed the beach and the amenities of the resort like the pool and tennis courts. The building needs some upgrades for example carpets.

The blinds behind bed rattled every time you moved. They need to swap for curtains, shades or something that doesnt make so much noise. Tv in LR would not turn on. Would not have been an issue if weather had been better. I understand weather is beyond anyone's control. Dust bunnies fell each time you opened door.

Overall we loved our room. However the floor wasnā€™t very clean we let our 1 year old crawl and when we got up his feet were black. Our trash wasnā€™t changed the whole time we were there. Not sure if there was miscommunication there or not or if we needed to do it but just wasnā€™t told where to take the trash. The blinds could have been replaced it was missing a few and people could see in our room. The bed was really squeaky and we couldnā€™t use our dresser in the room due to it having a bed and broken blinds in it. But overall we enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful location but, very poorly maintained!

Our room had no hot water 1st 24 hrs. (We weā€™re only staying 3 nights). Their response was thereā€™s nothing we can do. The next day our toilet wouldnā€™t flush and the base was coming up off the floor.šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļøMy husband had to work on it 3 different times to get it to flush. Our TVā€™s didnā€™t work and my hubby had to work on those but failed. Oh, our code didnā€™t work to get in after waiting 7 families deep to get on to 2 elevators all at once.@.4:00 pmā€¦ because check in time wS same for everybody. This was L7 and btwā€¦ the porch was filthy! Wouldnā€™t touch those cushions for my dog. Many other families complained about cabinet doors falling off, etc. etc. Weā€™ve loved it there for years but never again. For 300.00 per nightā€¦. NO WAY!!!!!!

Left some to be desired.

This unit was very clean. If this was a get away for just me and my husband it would had been perfect space wise. The walk to the beach is short and the staff at the front desk and the security older gentleman were top notch. However there were many things I wish I would had known prior to booking. I noticed in the description that a washer/dryer is part of the amenities. I wish it would had been listed as a shared coin laundromat. Iā€™ve stayed at surf side resort before and had the washer and dryer in my unit so I did not consider that. So I had to get change and haul laundry up the stairs a couple times during my stay. We were there 4 days and 3 out of the 4 we were locked out of the unit at least once that day with our code just deciding to stop working. They did respond quickly to get the issue fixed, but on day 3 it was really frustrating. Also it doesnā€™t feel like a true 1 bedroom. The divider wall doesnā€™t reach the ceiling. So if youā€™re bringing guests to sleep on the sofa just know there will be zero privacy and impossible to both watch tv at the same time. Most likely related to the holiday, but this unit has very little noise reduction. Your bedroom window facing the parking garage means you hear every ā€œbeepā€ all hours of the night of people locking their car doors. Also may want to bring pillows and blankets for the fold out couch because all that was provided was 2 flat sheets. Not vacasa related, but for the size of the resort the pool is small. It got really crowded at times. As much As I was disappointed in some things, the staff at the front desk really tried to make our experience pleasant and Iā€™m thankful for that.

The blinds are all tore up and need replaced in the front room and bedroom. The fridge make a load noise and kept us up all night.

Anniversary Getaway

The condo was great and located close to everything in the area within a 10 minutes drive. The beach was across the street just walking 5 minutes . The condo is just like in the pictures. We will definitely come back again with our two girls as a family vacation next time.

Excellent location and very clean.

We had a great time. Very clean and Destin is a beautiful city. The condo environment is extremely loud. I would also change the blinds in the master bedroom to curtains. Every time you move in the bed the blinds rattle (extremely loudly.) Overall experience 4.8 out of 5.0

Great Location- Clean Unit

This unit was a nice place to stay. It has been updated and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was very clean and ready for us upon arrival. The location was great-walk out the door and you are practically on the beach. The complex is old and dated, and not as well-kept as the unit itself, but luckily you donā€™t spend a lot of time in the common areas. The beach in front of the resort is dedicated to resort guests with special stairs and gates for guests only (you have to use the code to access). The young men setting up the chairs and umbrellas each day were very friendly. This unit did include two chairs and umbrella, so it was great to not have to purchase that separately. I wish there was someone on duty at the front desk all night, but the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall a great experience.

Drainage issues

The shower wouldnā€™t drain properly. The first day we got there one of us showered and it filled up fast. Couldnā€™t get two showers in or it would of flooded the entire bathroom. Had maintenance check it out. Couldnā€™t do anything the first night with the snake did t drain at all and the room started to smell like sewers. Day two anther maintenance man came and put drain O still did t solve the problem. Had to come back day two with a plumber and finally got it resolved. Saying four nights and having to deal with maintenance coming and going was an inconvenience. The maintenance guys were nice and did what they could. Once that was done the last two days were fine. I was told by maintenance that I would be getting a refund on my booking fee and cleaning fee. I still havenā€™t received anything. And was actually charged $100 once I got back. Not sure if that was the cleaning fee or not.

Great spot for beach access

Loved our short stop over on our way home. Sitting in the white sands and playing in the blue water will always be a memory Iā€™ll keep. The place was clean; check in and out was easy breezy.

There were no teaspoons. Very limited closet space. And not much storage for food items. We were only there 9 nights and werenā€™t going to cook much anyway. So it worked out just fine.

Great beach location

Some upkeep things in this unit need attention, but also some things were really good. The good definitely outweighed the bad and we would love to stay here again next time. The location in the building is wonderful and the layout is nice.
