*PLEASE NOTE: SunDestin Beach Resort is undergoing a property modernization project. Sundestin is proud to offer this 10th-floor two-bedroom condominium for you and your family's Florida vacation. The main bedroom and the living area feature ceiling to floor balcony doors for access to your private balcony. Imagine sharing breakfast with your loved ones on the balcony as the sun rises over the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. This unit has been tastefully decorated in calming pastel colors. The main bath has a king bed for your sleeping comfort. The second bedroom is furnished with two double beds and the living room has a queen sofa sleeper. Do you enjoy cooking? Everything you need is there for you in this fully furnished kitchen including a full-size refrigerator, stove, microwave, and dishwasher. Cookware, dishes, and utensils are furnished for you as well. Bring your cameras and get your vacation started in this condominium.
Things to Know
Check-in time: 4:00 p.m.
Check-out time: 10:00 a.m.
All guests shall abide by the good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
Ongoing construction and amenity closures are to be expected. Construction is predicted to be completed Spring 2026.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Everything was exceptional! The host was very welcoming. He responded very quickly to messages. The condo was clean just didn’t have an ocean view. The entire facility was very clean, nice, and accommodating. It is conveniently located near restaurants and shopping centers. My guest and I had a wonderful time. We recommend the Escapes to the Shores to everyone as will definitely book again.

Perfect location, spotless rental

We loved our stay in this rental. The view was perfect, it was spotless, building employees were very kind, and check in and out were fast and easy. Plan to keep this in mind next time we are in town!

Beautiful View

Condo was clean and comfortable. View was amazing! Easy access to the beach and beach service was available and well worth the daily cost. Would recommend for families. Only thing that could have made it better would have been more towels in the kitchen and a clock in the master bedroom.

Clean condo with nice views

The condo had really great views of the ocean. We really enjoyed that the condo is on the corner so you have a side window as well. The rooms each were a good size with nice bathrooms. This was a great space for our stay. I give it four stars because the condo building itself could use some updating.

This Vacasa rental was just as shown in the Vacasa site. Gorgeous 10th floor views. A balconey facing south and western floor to ceiling windows made the vistas memorable.

Book it!!!

This is our second time renting this specific unit and we will be renting again! I love this condo- I have rented over 10 different beach condos and this is my top choice. The views from the windows are absolutely immaculate, especially when you’re laying in the master bedroom, looking out both views. The size is perfect for a small family. Kitchen is fully stocked and the water pressure is amazing for that post beach shower. Beach access is easy and simple. Beach chair rental services are A+. Beach gift shop has coffee all day as well as last minute shopping for sugar, towels, etc. the towels in the condo were incredible (my husband took a pic of the tag to order some). Like I said- we will be returning again and again to this one. Front desk staff very kind and efficient. Great pools! Honestly with the restaurant, uber eats and gift shop you hardly have to leave- but when you do- all of the best restaurants are very close by. Very easy check in and check out. Book it- you will love it!

Mediocre condo experience

Not the cleanest condo, with piles of sand on the floor in the bedrooms when we arrived. Dated with faucets that dripped the whole time. Coin machine for laundry was broken and the front desk and store didn’t have change so we had to go offsite to get quarters. Parking is a nightmare with an overflow lot across the highway and down a block, so not recommended for kids. Smoking section was beneath our balcony so we smelled smoke whenever we went outside to enjoy the scenery. There were 3 forks, no cutting boards and filthy oven that smoked us out every time we used it. The microwave was super loud like it was about to break. All in all a crappy place to stay and we won’t be coming back.

Door will not unlock!

We arrived got the parking permits unloaded the car get to the condo and the code given to us did not This was not good after being outside in the sun all day. Other than that the condo is beautiful and was perfect for us.

Family vacation

Location was excellent, staff was friendly. The kids enjoyed their room. There were a few things that were not a big issue. The master bedroom needs new pillows and the fan blades need to be cleaned. There was also black mold under both bathroom sinks. I would return to this room again

We waited until 4pm to check in like instructions said. The description mentioned construction noise. Where our condo was located should of been blocked off and not even rented out. We walked in a bunch of dust clouds of construction, could not breathe. Once we unlocked the door to condo the floors instantly felt grainy like sand was all over it. The furniture all had dust and construction dust residue. You instantly smelled construction. They supposedly cleaned before we came, I can say it defiantly felt that they didn't otherwise they would of noticed all of that. The bathroom closet door was not able to open without falling off the hinges. The condo people were not really responsive and then at 6pm we get a knock from two people saying they are here to clean. We showed them everything we noticed and the one cleaner lady was covering her nose with her shirt because the smell in the condo was horrific of construction smell. We couldn't breathe well from it either. I did not get a text or call or message on VRBO that they were sending anyone. After they cleaned it was slightly better with the smell and felt like we could take our shoes off. The condo did reach out later that evening to see about relocating. The next day only gave me two options that were not in the same area and were not condos on the beach like I paid for this one. After traveling all day to get there and have that happen we decided to just stay in our condo. I have never had an experience like this.

Wonderful stay!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at SunDestin Resort, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. The location is unbeatable—right on the beach, with breathtaking views and easy access to the water. The resort itself is clean, well-maintained, and offers a variety of amenities, including a great pool area and hot tub. Our condo was spacious, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen had all the necessary appliances, and the living area was perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. The balcony was a highlight, stunning view of the ocean, especially during sunrise and sunset. The staff at SunDestin were friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any requests we had. The check-in process was smooth, and we appreciated the security measures in place, which made us feel safe throughout our stay. Overall, SunDestin Resort provided an excellent vacation experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing beach getaway in Destin. We will definitely be returning for our next vacation.

Do not recommend at all. The unit was full of dust, mold around AC vents, towels were full of stains and very dingy. Not to mention the balcony was a big safety hazard due to the railing not being attached to the wall.

This property is in rough shape. Closet doors off hinges, faucets that don’t work properly, in rough shape, we couldn’t get the TVs to work for days, the dishes in the cabinets weren’t all clean, there was trash under the beds, and just felt overall dirty. The inside was much smaller than it appeared in the photos. When we arrived, there was major construction going on and we were never informed before hand. There were jack hammers going off earlyIn the morning. The walk from the elevator to our room was like walking thru a parking garage. They had torn up all the tile and it looked in rough shape. When we got there, we couldn’t get the TVs to work. I notified them and it wasn’t fixed for two days. They were asking me to hook up cables etc and I asked them “shouldn’t that have been done before we arrived? I don’t know what hooks into what”. They finally came while we were gone and hooked them up. We had to reach out again because the kitchen faucet waa about to fall apart and we had a hard time turning it off, same with the shower in the master bath. Both bathrooms are very dated and small! Pulled silverware and cooking utensils out and they had food stuck on them. I didn’t even want to really cook in there. Everything felt dirty. There was gunk in the drawers where the silverware and utensils were. They were very limited on what they had in their kitchen. If you want to cook, plan on washing everything good before you use it. Sad it was in that state.

Okay Condo

Pros: Location was good, free parking, view of the beach from the balcony is excellent, being a corner unit is great since there is a window on the side that lets in nice sunlight which makes the unit feel very large and comfortable. Cons: The building is very old and dark in the lobby, halls, even at the indoor pool. The condo itself has a better feel since it has been remodeled and is bright inside. The outdoor pool was closed, and the hot tub was packed with people, mostly young children, so we were never able to use it. The condo is not stocked at all in the kitchen, so you need to bring your own spices, etc. Tissues are also not provided. It feels much more like a furnished apartment than a condo someone actually owns. The last morning we were there the occupants in the unit above us were flying a drone off their balcony, right up to our balcony. When I told the staff at the front desk, they were even more upset about it than I was! They had already had other reports regarding the drone and were trying to locate the owner. Overall, it is a nice condo.

Great Place, Issue with Amenities

The condo was great, staff at front desk helpful,but was very disappointed that we were not informed of outdoor pool was closed during our stay. Knowing that we would of stayed someplace else

Beautiful condo and view!

We arrived a day after hurricane sally hit and the original condo we reserved sustained water damage. Vacasa notified us that morning prior to arrival and moved us to this condo as a substitute. We couldn’t have been more pleased with their attentiveness and quick action. The condo is gorgeous with a breathtaking view corner view of the ocean and Destin skyline, perfect to watch sunsets and dolphin watching! The kitchen for the most part had everything we needed with the exception of food storage containers for leftovers and a cutting board ( not a big deal). The kitchen is beautiful tho, I cooked breakfast every morning and ate on the balcony overlooking the ocean. Master bedroom was comfortable and also had a beautiful view of the beach/ocean with floor to ceiling sliding glass door with access to the balcony. We took full advantage of this and slept with the curtains wide open so we’d wake up to the beautiful view. Sundestin resort it self was nice, we didn’t use the pool or other amenities, but they looked nice. The convenient store located in the resort was PERFECT for last minute things like sunglasses, beer, eggs, touristy gifts, coffee etc. The beach was clean, we paid $20 for umbrella service and would reserve the day prior so our spot was ready to go the following day on the beach without having to wait in lint that morning for an umbrella. Sundestin is also easy walking distance north On the beach to the Back Porch Restaurant. We really enjoyed ourselves and look forward to coming back next year. In the era of Covid most people wore masks in the resort/lobby. The staff for the most part was wearing masks which felt reassuring. Thank you for the great service and special thank you to Brian at the front desk for making sure our vacation still happened, we greatly appreciate it!

Honeymoon Views

Everything was great. Home away from home. It’s was so amazing that we stayed another day. We plan on coming back in Dec. The ocean view was amazing too...I love that u can walk right out to the beach... we enjoyed our vacation.
