In the center of it all, Unit 11013 offers convenience and a stay with comfort and style. The Palms of Destin is conveniently located next to Big Kahuna's water park and is less than ten minutes away from HarborWalk Village, where you can shop at eclectic stores, eating at exquisite restaurants, and trying some fun activities. The area has numerous championship golf courses, or you can enjoy other attractions like snorkeling, swimming with the dolphins, dolphin cruises, water parks, fishing excursions, and much more. Additional sleeping available in the living room with a queen sofa bed. There is a large balcony featured in this unit with views of the pool and gulf waters in the distance. There are two full bathrooms, a washer and dryer stackable, a nice dining area, and a complete kitchen stocked with cooking supplies and utensils.

*Please note there are no same day bookings allowed.

Beach Stay

This condo is in a perfect location in Destin. The resort has lots of amenities: large gym, pool, hot tub, restaurants, coffee shop, entertainment, free shuttle, tennis courts, playground, etc. The resort is very close to all activities in the area. Would definitely return to this property!

What a lovely condo to stay at with our two young children. Views of the ocean can be seen from the balcony and peaceful sounds of the pool below can be heard and seen. I highly recommend this condo at The Palms of Destin!

Nice but need to be honest

The condo was nice but need some improvements. Patio door doesnā€™t open. Remotes do not work with either bedroom tvā€™s. There is only silverware & glasses for 1 meal. The 2nd bedroom has no closet or dresser. We only had two people so it worked but it wouldnā€™t be a good fit for 6 people.

Good resort, wouldnā€™t stay in same unit

Overall property was nice! Pools were ice cold and a little dirty. Far walk to beach but there is a shuttle. Good location and close to things Unit was not somewhere Iā€™d stay again. Beds were very uncomfortable! Not enough blankets, toilet had water coming up from the ground after flushing, trash can top wasnā€™t working, and screws sticking up from floor.

Not as expected

The resort itself was nice, very friendly staff, however upon initial entry to the condominium it was very messy and unclean. There was copious amounts of sand in the carpet, several stains in the rug, the patio furniture was frayed and falling apart, the couch had a very foul smell, there were empty alcohol bottles under the dresser and bed as well as trash, there was a foul smelling rug in the closet just shoved in a trash bag, and no extra sheets or blankets for the beds as there were some stains on the sheets that were already on the bed.

Palms of Destin is very nice but this unit 11013ā€¦.

The resort is nice and clean. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming I love the pool. However the unit we rented needs some major issues addressed asap. The code to the door stopped working several times, there are horrible stains in the carpet, and the TV in the master bed doesnā€™t work. There were bad stains on the curtains in the living room. The patio set is fall apart as well. The owners really need to put some TLC in cleaning. I spent time cleaning up the unit before we could unpack. After all of these issues the young lady at Vacasa called and was very helpful in getting someone out address a few of the issues. I would like to visit Destin again, but I donā€™t want to stay in the same unit.

My wife and I booked this condo for a week trip. The night before arriving we received an email stating we could not stay here since my wife is not 25, (we had previously spoken with Vacasa who said it would be fine for her to stay since I was above the age requirement). Well, on the day that we were supposed to arrive we kept calling Vacasa trying to figure out what we were supposed to do to get our money back and find another place to stay, they canceled our trip, and then after speaking with 3 employees a manager called and said the trip should have never been canceled in the first place, she made things right and allowed us to stay there for the week. Upon entering the home things looked decent until we got to the shower and found mold in the shower and on the outside wall near the shower. The second day we were there my wife opened the dishwasher to load it and found a full load of DIRTY dishes and clumps of food all over dishwasher GROSS. I contacted Vacasa in reference to the dishwasher being left like that, and nothing was done my wife cleaned it up herself( they asked if we were requesting maintenance?). Overall experience with Vacasa was not fantastic. The room was not "terrible" but definitely not clean.

Major issues with unit.

Upon checking in the toilet in the master bathroom had no flusher and the fridge didnā€™t cool. I called at Vacasa (property manager)at 4:00 and maintenance showed up at 8pm. They fixed the toilet but the fridge could not be fixed. I had brought a fridge full of food. the next morning it somehow started working. Long enough to ruin all the food. Vacasa did deliver a fridge in the middle of the day that I sent away as they wanted to put it in the living area. This day the ac started to act up, shut down for long periods of time and continuously had an error message of E5. I called and texted to have this looked at and was told I would be contacted and reached out to. Never was contacted again so rest of the trip the ac was very non consistant. I have pictures and text chains documenting all of this. How is it acceptable to just say ā€œI am sorryā€ for major issues, ruined food, and wasted hours waiting for a call or someone to show up acceptable when this unit was advertised with these things?

Quiet/Clean and great view.

Enjoyed our vacation here. Pool/Hot Tub and the food was excellent. Beach was close by with shuttle and very convenient for shopping or dining out.

Great location. Great pool area. Room needed a few things but overall good. Skillet, remote and hair dryer missing. 2 plugs in bedroom not working andb1 plug in living room face plate half missing leaving plug exposed. Carpet needs to be cleaned.
