Steps to the Sand w/ Ocean Views in Oceano

333 Juanita Avenue is a wonderfully unique property. Located less than a block from the sands of Pismo State Beach near the Oceano Dunes Recreation Area this home has 3 spacious bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, 2 full kitchens, 2 living rooms, fenced backyard and deck with views of the Pacific Ocean and the beach.

All of the bedrooms are equipped with queen beds, and the upstairs living room has additional sleeping in the living room on a sofa sleeper accommodating up to 8 guests.

The primary suite is open, filled with light, and has an airy feeling on a sunny day (which we have a lot of!) The attached primary bath has a combo tub/shower, dual vanity, and walk-in closet.

The second bedroom is also located on the second floor with the main living area and primary suite. The second bath has a shower only and is just across the hall from the second bedroom.

The third bedroom and bath are downstairs, the bath is equipped with a tub/shower combo and an oversized and modern bowl-style sink.

Both kitchens are fully equipped with cookware, utensils, dishes, and flatware perfect for any home chef, and who couldnā€™t use an extra oven on Thanksgiving? There are gas BBQā€™s on the deck and in the backyard.

When youā€™re not searching for seashells or adventuring on the dunes youā€™ll be able to keep the kids entertained or up to date on your favorite series with the Wi-Fi enabled TVā€™s in the living rooms. Wi-Fi is always included at no additional charge, but there is no cable/satellite service.

There is ample off-street parking with the garage (the garage is temporarily unavailable rates during affected dates have been reduced) and driveway and additional parking space to the side of the driveway. Coin-operated washer and dryer (potentially shared if the small rental next door is occupied long-term) is located in a laundry room by the garage.

Oceano Beach Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. The overall experience was excellent. The house is exactly that way itā€™s portrayed online. The check in process was easy. I only had 2 minor complaints. The first issue is the upstairs TV did not work. The property manager fixed them issue promptly. The second issue, we paid a pretty hefty cleaning fee. Housekeeping needs to set it up a little. There were crushed up Takis in the downstairs fold out couch. The bed in the master bedroom had hair on the sheets. Other than this stay was amazing!

Graduation celebration

Enjoyed our stay at Grover Beach for Cal Poly graduation weekend. Easy directions, Old Juan's restaurant nearby, and plenty of sunshine. The house was great - matched description and we were all comfortable.

Great Location

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The kitchen had all the amenities. Space was sufficient. Location is perfect. Steps to the beach, close to ATVing, nearby restaurants. Shops were close by. The house is kind of quirky where it combined two units into one by leaving a door unlocked. We mostly used the upper level while lower level was just as a breeze way to the laundry. There was another tenant onsite. Which we didnā€™t expect. We also had to pay for drying our clothes which has never happened.

Masters graduation

We rented this place to have enough room for all of us but not to break the bank. The house was nice inside and quick walk to the dunes/beach. The neighborhood was quite eclectic but it didnā€™t matter much as we were in Paso Robles or SLO most of the time. We enjoyed our stay.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is in an amazing location, super close to beach access and very child friendly for a toddler. We were disappointed with the support from the office - when we arrived we realized the electricity and lighting wasn't working in the master bedroom and part of the other bedroom, I contacted the office immediately and spoke with the manager who said they'd be back in touch - unfortunately they forgot and it wasn't until I followed up and spoke with someone else who was very helpful that we finally were able to have an electrician fix everything on day 4 of our 7 day stay. We were also disappointed at the lack of basic kitchen utensils e.g. can opener, cork screw, any decent knifes for preparing food.

Great family geyaway

We came out to enjoy the beach and get to know our sons new girlfriend. And it was great, we got to go down to the beach every day, we walked Pismo Pier and even went to Avila beach! The house was a great place to relax in the evenings. All in all we will be coming back hopefully soon!

the location was great, check-in process was annoying. We requested the information to get in and it took hours to hear back and it didnt even work. A lockbox at the house would be helpful for obvious reasons. The was decently clean but not clean to where is felt comfortable. We were never able to get the wifi as it wasn't listed in the house nor did anyone respond when we asked for it.

Disappointed Guest

The property smelled like the home had been closed for months. It was dirty, no shower curtain, stale and old condiments, filthy coffee maker, patios and bbq area were filthy. Unbelievable this would even be considered a vacation rental. When I contacted property management regarding my concerns (also provided pictures and video of the issues) the response was, ā€œthe cleaning company resined after hearing your concernā€. I was extremely disappointed.

The house met our needs, but for the price the beds and furniture were so-so. It wasn't the cleanest either. We found food under the dining table and food and bits of trash under the beds and couches etc. The deck umbrella was broken. The windows were very dirty. We rented the whole place because there was one couple and two singles. It met our needs. We had a good time. Not a complainer, but in these Covid times. Spotless is preferred and it wasn't that.

Reviewer Comments: We loved that this house is steps from the beach and allowed us to maximize our time enjoying the beautiful sand and ocean. However, the house itself was very disappointing and not worth what we paid. Upon entering, there was a musty smell as if the carpet wasnā€™t clean. The furniture is all very old and mismatched, giving the feeling of being in a cheap motel vs a nice comfortable vacation home. The kitchen was sparsely stocked and many things just didnā€™t work well - the dishwasher took almost 4 hours to run each load, the fridge ruined many of our vegetables with freezer burn, the toaster doesnā€™t work unless you manually hold down the button, etc. There were also some old crumbs around the kitchen, as well as ants in the kitchen, bathroom and dining area. Our thermostat was out of batteries and someone promptly came which is appreciated. Communication with the property management was generally difficult (had to download an app, unresponsive to messages within VRBO, no instructions at the house for basic things like WiFi). Unfortunately overall, this was one of the worst vacation homes we have stayed at. Great location and spacious house, but desperately needs updating.

Great Beach House

Super close to the beach, house as described and very large. Wish the house had a lockbox so we didnā€™t need to stop by the office for the keys before the house, but other than that no complaints!

Excellent location.

We stayed at this house for our wedding anniversary. It was such a wonderful location at a reasonable price. The walk to the ocean was 1 minute. My family had a great weekend. Thank you.

Awesome house

We had an awesome time and the house was wonderful! Had issues trying to pick up the keys but the check in rating is based on having 2 kids under 2 after a long 6 hour drive and so was frustrated! I would suggest more attention to detail from the cleaning crew The dishes were still in the dishwasher when we arrived and there were ants in the master bath, the stairwell railing broke as soon as we got there and the light in the stairway did not work! Nothing overwhelming The house was close to the beach just a short walk!!ā€™
