Eagle's Landing is a private cabin nestled in the trees near the Henrys Fork of the Snake River. It has plenty of gathering space with over 1900 sq. ft. with two living areas, one up and one down. There is a bathroom and TV on each level. The large wrap around deck is great for indoor/outdoor living. There is a large dining table and a table for outdoor dining on the spacious deck. There is a gas grill and the kitchen is fully stocked with small appliances, dishes, etc. The large driveway has plenty of room for parking vehicles and toys. There is year-round access to trails. Just exit the driveway and you are on #626 and Shotgun trail. Perfect access for ATV's in the summer and snowmobiling in the winter. You are a short drive from central Island Park or Mack's Inn and 35 miles from West Yellowstone.

As others have said, the photos don't do the place justice. Loved our stay at Kathy's property, to the extent that we tried to see if we could extend our stay (unfortunately not possible due to flights, but Kathy was super accommodating and helpful).The location is great, 35 minutes from the Yellowstone west entrance gate, 2 hours from Jackson Hole and Grand Teton NP, and in a quiet area. The property itself was immaculate, well maintained, and VERY well stocked. We've stayed at other rental properties that had only a few plates and utensils etc, but not here. Whatever you could possibly need was available, and they provided a few nice welcome supplies.We had a family of deer wander through the property several times, and the friendliest little chipmunk who came within inches (both the deer and chipmunk were even friendlier than our ones at home near GSMNP).We felt very at-home during our stay, and plan to stay here again when we next return to the area (which we certainly will, since Yellowstone and surrounding area is one of our favorite places).About the only (minor) negative i can think of (and it is very minor) is that the heating is a little noisy, but we overcame that by turning down the heat in the master bedroom so it didn't come on at night, and just left the door ajar instead so the air could circulate.Thanks again Kathy for letting us stay at your wonderful property. We'll be back sometime !

Beautiful cabin in an excellent location. The pictures donā€™t even portray how awesome this cabin is. Very close to Yellowstone. Cabin is spacious. We loved the dining room table that was big enough to seat our whole group. The kitchen pantry was very well stocked. Beds were comfortable. We were sad that our stay had to come to an end. When we go back to Yellowstone we will be staying here again for sure!!!

Perfect home base for Yellowstone

This house had everything for our familyā€¦completely comfortable, stocked with snacks, bear spray, coolers, towelsā€¦all the things! Great quiet place to stay when visiting Yellowstone. Saw Momma Moose and her calf our first morning and a fox! Beautiful location.

Perfect Stay

This was a perfect house for our Yellowstone trip. Close to town but quiet and serene. The 2nd story wrap around deck is awesome. The place was better stocked than any short term rental that we have ever stayed in. The hosts are attentive, and have thought of every little detail to make your trip great. The smore kit and fire pit were great. We even had the bonus of seeing a mama moose and her calf on our last morning. We would definitely stay again.

The house was perfect for my wife and I are two adult sons and their wives. It was furnace with everything we needed and more. The neighborhood is very quiet pleasant and the fire pit was awesome. It was so much like being in your own home. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We made lots of memories.

AMAZING property and amenities!

We had a lovely stay here. They left out a ton of treats, and had more for us to take on our excursions to Yellowstone. Every kind of appliance was available in the cupboards, every station on the TV, a million towels and toiletries, extra toothbrushes, everything! They really made sure we felt comfortable and had a pleasant stay. One of the best places we've ever stayed.

Wonderful stay for our Yellowstone/Grand Teton trip

Everything was as described and more! Loved seeing the deer and moose near the home. Very clean and comfortable home. Enjoyed the hospitality with the fresh bread, huckleberry jam, butter and all the snacks! One of the best stocked vrbo homes I've ever stayed at. Thank you Kathy!

Absolutely Wonderful!!!!

This was absolutely the cleanest and well stocked vacation rental we have ever experienced. The cabin is comfortable, clean and in an excellent location. We appreciated all the special touches, such as, the availability of spices and supplies for cooking in. The snacks and ingredients for Sā€™mores were a group favorite. We would definitely recommend this vacation rental and would return again.

Best Vrbo weā€™ve ever stayed in!

This was the most clean, organized and comfortable rental! Seriously, every detail was well thought out. Every kitchen appliance, pan or spice was available, even down to a softened stick of butter for our morning toast! Plenty of extra blankets for the cool nights. Games and activities for our children. Such a beautiful cabin and location! We would love to come back and stay here again in the future. Thank you!

The best cabin ever!!!!

Kathy and Pat, Thank you for letting us stay in your cabin! We love Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, and the whole Island Park area. We loved how the Henry Fork Snake river was so close. We loved the Corn hole and fire pit. This is the best VRBO ever!!! It was very stocked which made it feel more like home. We saw 3 deer and a moose that kept hanging around the cabin. We loved it there! We floated down the Henry Fork Snake River through Mackā€™s Inn. Thank you again for letting us stay! We had a wonderful time! It was so hard to leave! Thank you again! Great family spot

Our family had a great time. We watched TV, movies, played games from the cabinets, put together and puzzle and visited nearby Yellowstone. Being close to Island Park was great, too, as we ate out one night. Upon returning to the cabin there were 2 full grown deer in the yard to greet us. Love it!

Eagles landing in Island Park

The home is nestled in the pines. Very quiet. Everything was provided. We did some shopping at Sam Patch. Nice store. Mackā€™s Parlor for pizza was very good. The home is beautifully decorated and comfortable. Home away from home.

Cabin in the woods

This beautiful, lovingly kept and decorated 3 bedroom spacious home was amazing! From the snack basket and girl s out cookies, wrap around porch surrounded by woods to the homey thoughtful touches totally surpassed any VRBO that I have ever stayed in! The cupboards were well stocked with supplies that most vacation rentals dont provide. The host definetly pays attention to detail! Only 1 hour to Yellowstone and the Island Park is beautiful with lots to do. I would defintely come back!

Yellowstone

Eagles landing is the best property we have ever stayed in. It has every amenity that you could want. It is well stocked. The accessories are high-end and beautiful and the decor is great throughout the whole house. Wonderful fire pit. The wraparound porch was so much fun because we played games outside and just had a wonderful family experience. I would recommend this place to anyone whoā€™s coming to the Yellowstone area

Great place to stay

We stayed at Eagle's Landing for 3 nights and evrything was great. The cabin is very confortable and located in a very quiet forest (we saw 2 deers in the frontyard). A great place to visit yellowstone (45min to the west entrance) and enjoy the different activities offered in island park. A special thanks to Kathy for her warm welcome and here generosity!

Everything you could want in a cabin

My son in law said , ā€œThis cabin has everything you could possibly want in a cabin!ā€ It was amazing, clean, comfortable and in a gorgeous setting. My only regret is that we didnā€™t schedule enough down time there. Highly recommend it.

Beautiful home and location

We stayed at Kathy's cabin with our grown children and newborn granddaughter. The location is beautiful and quite. It is just far enough out of town without being too far. The cabin was beautiful and clean. We had everything we needed and more. The kitchen was well stocked with all cooking appliances and utensils that you would ever need. There were snacks and games provided which were a great touch. The beds and furniture were very comfortable. Traveling with a newborn, we didn't have to worry about packing a pack and play, as it was provided. They also had a highchair. We had plenty of towels and essentials (toilet paper, soap, etc). We have stayed in places that are for 8-10 people for a week and only have two rolls of toilet paper, this was not one of them. Kathy provided every necessity. She was quick to answer every question we had. If we go to Island Park again, we will definitely stay here.
