Long weekend get away

This property was great for our long weekend away! Very clean and easily accessible. The amount of covered space outside was great, especially for having a baby who wanted to be outside. Very close drive to everything. Would stay again!

Wonderful Spot!

Great stay!

Very cute and cozy place for a couples getaway! Close to the beach and restaurants. Our host was very accommodating! We will definitely be staying again!

Perfect!

This place was perfect for me. It was convenient to the beach and the sound. The owner provided nice touches, like coffee and hot chocolate pods and tea bags. It was very quiet.

Nice and comfortable. Has all the things you love when your on vacation.

Very pretty and comfy. Unit has fully stocked kitchen with beautiful fixtures throughout. Loved the king size bed and rainfall shower head. Location was convenient - easy to get everywhere - walk to the sound and a short drive to ocean beach. Walking distance to dunes, Blue Moon Grill (yum) and beautiful sunsets. Vjollca was very hospitable and offered great ideas for beach, restaurants, etc.

It was very neat and clean. Decorated so cute, so very cozy. We were near anything we wanted to do. We so appreciated the flowers and the wine, although we don't drink, what a wonderful welcoming surprise. We could not have asked for a nicer place to stay, hated to leave. Thanks so very much.

Perfect Size for Two!

Had a wonderful time staying here. Had communication with the hostess very openly and honestly. She was so super nice. It was the perfect room for my boyfriend and I. Plus it’s kinda in the middle of everything, just a short walk from the sound, a short bike ride/drive over the the beach and close to so many restaurants. Will definitely be staying again the next time it’s just us! Thank you so much!!!

Thank you so very much for choosing my place for your vacation stay. Was blessing to have you both over. Katlyn and her boyfriend left the place like no one stayed there. In the end she washed and cleans everything without hesitation. She really traded my house like it was one of them I appreciate then very much. I will be honed to host them again..

Cozy basement apartment

The size of the space was just right for two people. Almost wish there wasn’t a couch in the space but realize it was necessary for additional sleeping area. The space was clean the host was very responsive. The location was several blocks from the sound and required driving to get to the ocean but it was perfect at its price point.

Truly impressed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was very nice and cozy with great aesthetics. All we needed was right there on the premises. The location was perfect we were close to everything. We were only a few minutes (literally) from the ocean on one side and the bay on the other.The hostess went above and beyond to make sure our stay was a good one. We loved that there was an outside shower and a hot tub, a porch swing to sit outside in the morning/evening. Our expectations were reached. We loved the location, great neighborhood (the people were friendly) and you could walk down the road to see the sunset on the water. Beautiful... We were celebrating our 13 yrs of marriage and we will be back for sure!

Tv didn’t work

The ad says smart tv available but there is no cable so can not watch tv shows, They have it hooked up to spotty Wi-Fi and could only watch Netflix which would go in and out as you watched it. Ad should be more honest. Kitchen trash can too small.Window blinds didn't cover the windows had to use towels to cover. I would not come back here or recommend it.

This is not true statement, She try to stay at my place and complain to get the money back. I will not allow her at my house. It was problem with her before they even came to visit. I should have known and canceled their reservation. I have covered for windows curtain and blinds, it is a Kitchenette so will not be suitable for big trash can.

The great, the not-so-good, and the ugly

My fiance's mother was undergoing serveral cancer treatments and was unable to care for her 9 week old miniature schnauzer any longer. So we text our host if it would be okay to bring him along with us. She responded that she usually charges an additional fee for another pet but would waive it to help us out. In addition, she requested that the dogs not sleep on the bed. We thought that was awesome and we also decided to bring our own bedding as an extra precaution. We didn't want to undermine our host. When we arrived, the place was clean but smaller than the 950sq ft it is listed as. We noticed the host had set out a bottle of wine and a welcome card, which we really enjoyed and thought was a nice touch. Looking around, the place had everything you need. A kitchenette, washer and dryer, beach towels, outside shower to help reduce sand, and many more nice touches. There really wasn't much room to sit our luggage along with a dog crate, so we decided to use the couch for our luggage. We set out our things and headed to walk the beach. When we return, we showered and got ready to go out for dinner. We noticed the shower was draining slowly but didn't think much of it being it was still draining. The next few days were the more of the same, hit the beach, shop, and go out for dinner. On the final day, we packed our things and cleaned up putting all the used towels in the wash and balled up the bed sheets to be washed. As we were headed home, we received communication that the cleaning lady said there was pet hair on the couch, we left the dog toys everywhere and we stopped up the shower with dog hair. I was really taken back that our host was now accusing us of damaging the property and doing things we never did. She sent us a picture of 2 dog toys that must have been pushed under the couch or night stand and some pet hair on a cleaning towel. I didn't see the relevance of it. Throw it away and keep it moving. She made it sound as we trashed the place. We were hit with an additional cleaning charge. I don't know what this cleaning lady is use to cleaning but a pet friendly property should know that there will be some degree of pet hair depending on the breed. Besides, wasn't this what the pet and cleaning fee was for. If the host had told me that her cleaning lady upped her cleaning fee and had to pass it along to me, than fine. But to be wrongfully accused! Nope, not going to do it. To be fair, our experience wasn't bad until then.

Comfy and relaxing.

Very welcoming Hostess. Clean and cheery room. Short walk to restaurants, the sound, and Jockey Ridge park. Beach assess is not a short walk with beach gear, but easy drive. Enjoyed our trip.

Great couple’s getaway spot

We had a great time at Nag’s Head. Vjollca was helpful and provided beach chairs and an umbrella that were very useful. A short walk to the beach and short drives to multiple restaurants. The room is small but works well for a short stay, or a longer stay if you’re spending most of your time on the beach/out at restaurants etc.

Cute little spot for couples

This property is a great little spot for a couples getaway. The owner was super nice and quick to answer questions and offer suggestions of places to go! Location is central to things to do and the beach. Within walking distance of Jockey ridge state park which we really enjoyed! I would definitely recommend this little spot to other couples!

It is in the middle of the town Nags Head, it’s close to everything. Short walk to the beach or bike. hopefully you never need emergency, but if you need one, it’s close to the outer bank's hospital to the urgent care and it is closer to everything else.
All the restaurants and shopping center are minutes always accessible by walking or riding a bike as well.
Dunes right beside the house. You can access Jockeys ridge walking distance.
And it’s amazing neighborhood.
