BEACHFRONT luxury awaits you in this large 1,060 sq ft. open-designed condo. Enjoy spectacular sunsets from the 10th floor private balcony or the in the hot tub which is steps from the beach. The large fully remodeled kitchen is equipped with granite counter tops and new appliances. The condo facility hosts a community room with a ping-pong table and a lending library for those times you want out of the sun. Local landmark, Caddy's Pub, with its fresh seafood, gorgeous views and live entertainment is across the street. Located on the narrowest part of the island between the Gulf of Mexico and the Intracoastal Waterway, the condo is walking distance from Indian Shores' restaurants and shops. Island Marine Rentals is a convenient short walk for boat, bike, scooter, paddleboard and kayak rentals. The condo is professionally decorated and equipped with everything you need for a fun and carefree vacation. Manager does private fishing, dolphin and sunset tours.

Minimum rental period is 7 nights.

Great Condo!

Great condo! Beautiful view and great area to vacation! Condo was clean, comfortable beds, and property manager is excellent with providing all necessary information for the condo. Would definitely recommend this condo for future vacations.

Great property!

Property was excellent- exactly as described and very clean. Location was also great, right on the beach and a restaurant was right across the street. Property owner had excellent communication throughout the entire process- one of most organized owners I have ever worked with. Views from the balcony were wonderful, pool and amenities were good. We will stay here again- loved everything!

Great condo

We had to move here from another condo because their pool and hot tub were not going to be open from the hurricane damage. Tom was great to deal with. Very helpful and responded quickly. Condo was very well stocked and had a beautiful view of beach and gulf. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent Location!

We enjoyed our stay at Sandcastle 1! The unit offers beautiful sunset views; a great place to start & end your day! The unit was very quiet, even during a busy spring break week and elevators were fast & efficient! We greatly appreciated the beach towels & toys, thank you! Communication with the owner was excellent. We would stay here again and recommend it to family or friends.

Springbreak family vacation

Four adults and a 5 and 8 year old. Many things to do. Easy to cook or go out. Loved watching the sun rise in front of condo and sit on the back patio to watch sunset. Very very nice.

Amazing Time!!

This unit was just as described! Steps from the beautiful beach, heated pool, and hot tub. The location was perfect, a great restaurant right across the street and so many more within a short walking distance. The unit was pleasantly stocked with beach supplies and extra toiletries if needed. Owner was quick to respond to any questions I had. So glad we found this place!

Premium Comfort & Right on the Beach

This condo has just been remodeled with upscale materials, furniture, and appliances. It is extremely clean, very comfortable, and the perfect location for a great visit on the beach. The courteous owner is quick to respond to any questions. There is a good selection of high quality beach chairs and related items in the balcony closet. We give it our highest recommendation. We truly enjoyed our visit and plan to stay in this condo again.

Family vacay

This property was perfect for our summer family vacation. There was plenty of room for all 6 of us (myself, my husband and 4 adult children). Many additionally items were already in the condo which was wonderful; trash bags, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, hand soap, shampoo, etc....Location is amazing. This is our second yr at the same condo complex. Love having Cadsys across the street and very convenient to many other restaurants and shops. We love that the beach is not crowded!

Beautiful Beachfront Condo

We spent 3 weeks at this beautiful beachfront property and enjoyed every minute. The beds were comfortable as were all other furnishings. The unit has very nice high end applicances. We loved being on the top floor which gave us expansive views of the gulf. Tom was very responsive to email. The guidebook sent prior to our arrival contained all the information needed to enjoy the property.

Heads up about impending construction would have been helpful

The construction was a little frustrating. Work started early, there was no sleeping in during the last half of vacation due to drilling etc. pool/hot tub access was changed and there was no room at the pool due to 2 buildings sharing a pool.

Great condo

This was a great condo! Breathtaking views of the sunset and beautiful inside. We've never seen an owner supply all the extra like this place! Plenty of towels, dishwasher and washing machine pods, toliet paper, etc I mean there's even toothbrushes if you forgot one. We had a small plumbing issue the first day and the owner had that rectified immediately, amazing! Traveling with 3 small kids isn't easy and this place had all the baby accommodations and toys for small kids. Definitely would recommend this place!!

Great Vacation Condo!

We had a wonderful time! Condo is nicely updated and has a lot of kitchen items cookware. There are even a few spices. There are a lot of other items as well such as tooth brushes and shampoo/conditioner. The grounds and pool were very nicely taken care of. Owner provides a very informative guidebook that even has a video of how to park. This was very helpful! As others have commented, it’s a tight spot. We had a VW Atlas and had to back all the way down the garage to get the vehicle in safely. We would highly recommend this condo and the beautiful beach views that come with it!

Beachside and good for family

Nice 10th floor condo. Kitchen had everything we needed to make a Thanksgiving dinner. Lots of extras in the bathrooms in case you need a toothbrush, toothpaste, or hair care products. Could have used a few more trash bags, toilet paper, and clothes soap but shops are right around the corner to stock up. The outdoor pool is heated, which is a plus. . Note that if you have a big vehicle like we did (Tahoe) you will have a hard time parking in the allocated end spot, so maybe reassess your vehicle choice if you rent this condo. We don’t plan on visiting Tampa again, but we would recommend this unit to others!

Beautiful Condo

We loved our time at Indian shores! The host was so incredibly responsive right from the start, there was a website with all the info you could need. The condo and location was absolutely beautiful. This unit was newly renovated, and had super comfy and clean furniture. The other residents and guests were so friendly, the pool was heated and clean, and the beach was perfect! The condo was equipped with everything we could need for our stay -kitchenwares, bath, linens, everything. Only notes would be for people visiting - the parking spot is TIGHT we rented a minivan —and it required some skill to park. But we were able to use the guest spaces so not an issue. The outside beach equipment is in rough shape as warned and we ended up having to rent chairs and an umbrella - but we used a local company and it was easy.The only downside is the unit is on the top floor and it has an open balcony with only a slightly wobbly railing so we felt a little nervous letting our kids out there. However I saw that they were redoing be all the railings soon so I imagine that will be fixed.All in all a great stay and couldn’t recommend it enough!

Andrea thank your for the great review, I am happy you had a great stay. Beach chairs have always been an issue with renters lugging everything up and down, they break and get damaged. I am glad you got to use the chair service on the beach. Also the railings in the 10th floor are all reinforced with metal, so the PVC your seeing is just a protective layer, ALL buildings in FL are going thru engineering and construction and all our balconies were good,.

Condo nice. Property worn down

The condo is nice. It has a beautiful view from the balcony. Was a little concerned about the pvc used for the railing on the balcony. The property itself seemed worn down and needs some tlc. The parking garage is very hard to get in and out of. We had a mini van and it was impossible to park in the space provided. Overall we had a nice stay. Just need to address some of the issues mentioned above.

Lovely time

The condo was very nice. Beautiful sunset views off the balcony. Fairly well equipped in the kitchen if you want to cook. (Could use some new pans and a new corkscrew). It was nice to have starters of the paper goods/ soaps. However, if you are counting on sitting in beach chairs with an umbrella, you may have to buy or rent. There were 3 chairs that were not broken but they were in bad shape. However, lots of beach towels and kids beach toys. The pool and hot tub are nice with plenty of chairs there. Beds were comfy. The restaurants close by close pretty early (9/ week, 10/weekend) or even earlier in a few cases. Salt Rock is amazing, but you have to make a reservation if you want to dine there- even on a Monday or Tuesday. They are always packed! Overall we had a good time. Indian Shores is a quiet little town.

Review of Sandcastle 1

Wonderful condo with enough room for entire family to enjoy. Tom was very responsive to any issue or questions we had. The only issue with condo was parking. If we had rented a larger vehicle, we would of never fit into assigned spot in garage and there are only 17 guest spots. Our other family member had to keep moving their car due to an obvious owner hoarding many of the spots for his family during our stay. Be sure to make reservations early for places to eat like the Salt Rock Grill and Seaweeds, otherwise you'll never get in. Other than that, quite place to stay, beautiful sunsets and great views of ocean and dolphins in the am.

Great condo

We have stayed in this area for several years, but this condo is officially our favorite. It was super clean and recently updated. We ran into a few snags (smoke detector battery, refrigerator water filter) but our host Tom was really on top of it and responded and resolved immediately. Thanks for being a great host, Tom. We'll see you next time we're in town.
