This fantastic Fort Walton Beach vacation rental features a roomy interior and a well-equipped kitchen. Additional property amenities include a community pool and beach equipment rentals.

Besides being mere steps from the sugar-white sands for which the Emerald Coast is famous, Emerald Towers West is also conveniently located within a few minutes' drive of shopping, dining, and entertainment in Fort Walton Beach and nearby Destin. Here on Okaloosa Island, you'll be close to the boardwalk, with its eclectic restaurants and entertainment, and the Gulfarium, a marine park featuring dolphin shows. So, you need never go far to find attractions and local favorites!

Clean ample supply of necessities. Close to everything with a stunning view of Gulf from the balcony. Mgmt answered quickly when I locked myself out (my fault). Any questions I had were answered in a timely manner also

Unit was clean, however furniture old ,dirty and very uncomfortable to sit on mattresses were very bad, only saving grace was View was gorgeous tho.

Great location!

This is the best beach on the Gulf Coast. This condo gives you great direct access to the beach and to the amazing Fort Walton Beach sunsets!

Don't waste your money!!!

I don't love much at all except the view. Unit was un maintained, unclean, multiple moldy spots, doors wouldn't close and also couldn't use lights in master because of you tried to turn them on the switch would arc

Lovely Condo Right On The Beach

I loved that it was a small building & not a huge complex. No long walk to the beach or parking. It was a quiet neighborhood. The condo was clean & nicely decorated. The included beach set-up was a bonus. No need to lug down your own chairs & umbrellas.

Quiet location……Outdated condo

Quiet location on beach. Condo outdated especially kitchen. Rusted appliances, filthy pots and pans, dirty furniture and broken rails on balcony…… just to mention a few.

Great view but needs updating.

I loved the view and the layout of the condo. It has potential, but money needs to be put into the building and the condo. No laundry on site or in the condo. The walls need fixing in bathroom and living room from leaks. I was surprised vacasa was not helpful. They said too bad so sad. I would like management to contact me

Location Amazing

The location is truly amazing. The king-sized bed was so hard and I couldn't sleep on it, had to buy an air mattress to put on top of the mattress. The place smelled really bad so I had to buy air freshener and febreze. Originally, the place advertised a washer and dryer but after I read the reviews I saw that it has been broken for at least a couple years so I asked before I left and they confirmed that there was not a washer and dryer so I packed accordingly as you can't hang your wet suits and towels on balcony to dry. I had to lay sheets over the furniture to sit down because they are so filthy. The view from the bedroom was simply amazing. You can walk straight onto the beach. Even though there were a few things that needed attention, we made the best of it. The window has water damage by the dining room table. The living room tv doesn't have a remote to work the tv so you can only watch cable, but that was ok we spent most our time outside. It was very quiet there. At the time we went it was not crowded at all.

BEWARE IF CONSIDERING THIS UNIT. We booked this unit expecting a great trip to only be let down in a short amount of time. There are many things to list that is wrong with this unit so I’ll post them numerically with the affiliated pictures. 1) The first cockroach discovered on night 1 after having unloading everything and returning to the unit after dinner we were greeted by this when walking in the door.2) No working WiFi or cable in the unit3) None of the balcony lights work 4) Since there’s no cable/wifi me and wife looked up at ceiling and above master bed is ceiling full of dust5) There is terrible water damage and what appears to be signs of mold by dining area window 6) One of the dining chairs wasn’t connected at all7) The late night kitchen stroll that revealed numerous baby cockroaches and some adult cockroaches in sink area 8) An even later kitchen stroll that unveiled more baby cockroaches and another adult one 9) The living room coach has multiple dark stains on it10) I woke up and had a tick on my waist I discovered while in the shower after getting moved into the replacing unit.If it would allow me to post more photos I would but since it only allows 8 these are the ones I’m choosing. DO NOT BOOK THIS UNIT UNTIL ALOT OF WORK IS DONE.Vacasa was swift to realize the severity of the situation and relocated us into a new unit first thing the following day by noon and compensation for the night in this room.

Perfect location but repairs lacking

This would be a 5 star rating if repairs were made to the unit and it was just freshened up. Ceiling repair needed, curtain repair needed and master bedroom wall repair needed. Appears trying to get by on the cheap. If this was done I would rent again as it is located in a part if beach that is not busy and you walk right on out easily. Not the place to stay for a pool but we spent all day at the beach and don't need one. Also, no ice maker or ice trays in fridge so had to go buy ice and kitchen is lacking in everyday items or they have disappeared. It was very clean and tastefully decorated. Again, with repairs of a few hundred dollars I would have rated 5 stars.

Great beach access, older condo

Our goal was to stay on a less crowded beach with oceanfront view and this unit provided that. Including chair/umbrella was a bonus. We were surprised to learn when we arrived that the washer/dryer unit was out of order and it took a couple of days to get an update on whether it would be repaired--we had to keep asking. The best solution the agent could provide was the location of a laundromat. We spent a lot of vacation time washing clothes in the sink. Clearly the until was broken before we arrived and if we had been notified could have packed accordingly. I never got the impression that the management company had much interest in helping solve this problem and I hope future guests will be alerted to problems they might find on arrival.

Condition of the condo.

Unfortunately I wasn’t real Pleased with the condo. It didn’t seem very clean. There was hair in the tub, it had HUGE roaches in it, several of the cabinet doors are coming off their hinges. I would check into whomever they have cleaning it because I do not think they are doing a very good job. This isn’t the owners fault but there is a pretty good chunk of money going towards cleaning and I do not think they or the renters are getting their money’s worth.

Pass this one up

I have rented a condo in Florida once a year for 10+ years. This was the only unpleasant experience. First, I booked the condo April 1. The last time I glanced at all the amenities was the night before. I would never rent a condo for 6 people with out a washer and dryer. I discovered the washer and dryer was removed from the amenity list on April 1. I discovered this after it was too late to change reservations. Every year, we arrive a little early and as long as the condo has been cleaned, we are allowed access in. Not at Vacasa. We arrived after our 9 hour drive to see the cleaning crew leaving. I called and was told no chance of entering a minute early. The furniture was filthy. The baseboards were dirty. The dresser in the master bedroom had to be wiped out before I could place my clothing inside. There is water damage on the dining room wall and several terrible patch jobs through the condo. You ha e an ocean view but no patio furniture to see over the railing and enjoy the view. There is a glass wall in the living room to enjoy the ocean view l, however the way the curtains are hung, you are unable to pull them to the side completely to have an unobstructed view. I will say that the bathrooms were clean upon arrival and the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided was nice. The beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable. After a week of sleeping on them, I went to the chiropractor and got a massage.

Very disappointed

We got to the property on Friday only to find out that our washer and dryer were out of order. We did contact the property managers and were told that they would not be able to fix them, but they did give us a partial refund. But since we had no way to dry our clothes and towels, we put them on the balcony to dry; and we received a violation notice on the door stating that we could not hang anything on the railings. Then when we tried to run the dishwasher, it also broke, so we had to wash all of the dishes by hand. There was no overhang on our balcony, so when it rained we were not able to go out onto the balcony. There is also no direct access to the beach other than the public access and one bridge on the opposite side of the building we were staying on.
