This island cottage is in an ideal location. Newer construction. Easy 3 blocks to the beach and 7 blocks to the island's "downtown" restaurants and shopping. Four seat golf cart provided. Must be at least 18 years old with valid drivers license to drive golf cart. This 3 bedroom 2 bath home has a spacious living area and vinyl plank flooring. Outdoor shower. Cable and high speed internet provided.. It has a large sunny deck overlooking the fenced in yard making it a perfect getaway with your dogs. Large sitting area downstairs with a charcoal grill ideal for family cookouts with plenty of shade. Pet door leads to fenced downstairs area. Back deck with separate stairs off the kitchen offers easy access to the large back yard area with plenty of room for boat parking. New stainless appliances. Flip Flop Inn is on a quiet street but easy access to everything on the island. Great neighborhood!
If you're looking for luxury, this isn't it. Just a clean island home.

Great location. Enjoyed the porch. Floor plan worked out well for our needs. Although we didn't have a dog the fenced in area is perfect for one. The golf cart was an added plus!

This visit is the second time we have stayed at Flip Flop Inn. One of the things we love is that everything in the house is on one level. Our dog enjoys the fenced-in yard, and my husband and I enjoy sitting with our dog on the front deck because there is a gate at the stairs. We all love the available golf cart and riding around the island on it. We also love the neighborly atmosphere on the bay side.The house was clean, and everything worked. Bruce and Nita are great hosts and respond quickly to messages. We definitely recommend staying at Flip Flop Inn.

Great visit!

We love St. George Island, and Flip Flop Inn is our new favorite beach house! Conveniently located by golf cart to everything we wanted to do! The included golf cart was such a great addition to this property! Our yearly trip with our adult children was fantastic. The fenced in yard was perfect for our small dog. Clean and comfortable property. Communication with hosts was top notch.

Fantastic!

Absolutely loved the house and location. Close to the beach and a quick golf cart ride to restaurants but quiet, which was perfect for us. (We did visit in the off season, for what that’s worth) Well stocked kitchen with plenty of plates, pots, silverware, etc. Home was actually better than I expected. Stayed with my school age kids and parents and had other family over for Easter. Plenty of space, clean, and comfortable. The hosts were responsive and kind. Definitely made memories my family will never forget.

Best house yet!

Wonderful home. Great layout and amenities. Been to St George 4 times and this was our favorite place to stay by far. Easy to walk to the beach, but the addition of a golf cart made things even easier. Definatley would stay again

Great stay!

The house was clean and had most everything you would need in a kitchen, which is great for those who plan to cook. The host was easy to get ahold of if needed and check in was very easy. The short walk to the beach was really nice and the addition of the golf cart was helpful and fun!

Beautiful home away from home!

Flip Flop felt like we were visiting a thoughtful friend's home. The hosts really thought of everything their guests might want. The home was designed for comfort. It has rasy access to the beach and the bay. We will definitely visit Flip Flop again!

This house was perfect for our needs. Great location and outside areas. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals, even a crockpot. The use of the golf cart was an added bonus!

Great dog vacation home

This unit is great dog house .It was built with your dogs in mind .It has a doggie door,it has gates at every stairway,it has fenced yard,and laminate floors.The owner is easy to get hold of and work with.

We Loved It

We really enjoyed our stay. The house had everything we needed and more. The fenced yard and doggy door made it soooo nice and just like home. The golf cart was also fantastic! It made it so quick and easy to get to the beach and was fun to drive around the island. There were little things that made it nice too, like hooks on the doors for hanging clothes, bathroom shelf great for putting my things on, a big fan for noise (we slept so good!), plenty of paper towels and toilet paper!! I enjoyed painting a direction sign for the pole outside. Such a fun idea. Everything was fantastic. The owner is very nice and quick to reply if you have a question. Tips for others: wi-Fi password is on the back of the router. To lock the front door, turn the handle upward.

Wonderful!

We had a wonderful stay at Flip Flop Inn. The house was clean and fresh, and it is in excellent condition. Bruce communicated with us exactly right - enough to know we were there, and then he left us alone for the week. There were no issues with the house, so there were no problems to solve. We enjoyed the three different places to sit outside - the front deck, the small deck outside the kitchen, and the porch underneath the house. The golf cart (at no charge) is definitely an added value. We did not use our car after we got to St. George because we went everywhere in the golf cart. Another added value is no pet fee, and Bruce and Nita simply ask that guests clean up after their pets. In addition, the fenced back yard and the gate on the front deck meant we could sit outside with our dog and not worry about him escaping. The fence is in good condition, with no escape holes. Finally, it was great fun to add our arrow (which was provided) to the destination pole! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Flip Flop Inn and would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.

Island Getaway

We loved our vacation in St George Island. This home is pet friendly and just a short walk to the beach which is lovely and peaceful. The property also comes with the use of a golf cart which is a great addition, we used it to go to local restaurants and to the beach. The property manager was very attentive and checked in with us throughout our stay. We had a mandatory evacuation on our first day due to hurricane Debby and the property manager reached out to us to make sure we were ok. We really appreciated his communications with us during this time. Overall a great property and we will definitely be back!

Good Location ! Private, nice outside areas and porches. Very cute place. Had what we needed. Good Air Conditioner worked great. Good temperture for running water, showers and etc. Good for a small group not lg group.

Perfect getaway with family!

We enjoyed our stay on St. George Island. Having the golf cart was a huge bonus! The house was well equipped and comfortable. A short ride/walk to the public beach access or the park area on the bay side to put in kayaks if you bring them. The area was very quiet and peaceful. We will definitely go back - the owners were very nice and reached out to us throughout our stay.

Definitely A Must Stay

We had an amazing week with our 2 dogs at Flip Flop Inn!!! The house was clean and the fenced yard was perfect for our fur babies. And not to mention the house comes with a golf cart which made it so easy to load up and head to the beach and to the local restaurants. The house was so perfect we have already booked our trip for next May! The hosts were very responsive and nice to deal with!

Great place. Great location.

Super clean and really nice home. My wife and dogs and I all loved it. The location and close proximity to virtually everything made it easy to scoot around in the golf cart. The golf cart was a really nice addition.

Great house on a great island

Me (age 72) and my dog stayed for 9 days. The area was perfect for walking. The house is well built with amazing front deck and side deck. Inside has tall ceilings, lots of windows, and walls are painted a beautiful pale/grey blue. We felt very safe and comfortable there. Beaches are great, and you MUST visit the state park. It is gorgeous.
