Tivy Cottage is an 1940's bungalow that has been fully remodeled to add a modern take on its vintage characteristics. This Texas Hill Country home is close to restaurants, coffee, bars, theater, river trail, breweries, wineries. Located only a few blocks from downtown Kerrville! Tivy Cottage is the perfect place for your next getaway. This home has many amenities like a private hot tub, outdoor shower, lawn games, fire pit and record player with records.

The Tivy Cottage has a open floor plan with lots of natural light that fills the home. This home also has very comfortable memory foam King beds, luxury linens, bamboo sheets, and comfortable furnishings to create the perfect setting for your stay. Master bedroom has an ensuite bath with large walk-in shower. Second bedroom has a bathroom just out its door with a bath/shower combo and an original 1940's sink. Sunporch has twin bunk beds with memory foam mattresses and luxury linens that even adults will love them. The room is just off the kitchen and has its own door that can be closed off to the rest of the house. Beautiful working fireplace.

Large front yard with mature pecan trees (help yourself to their bounty). Pink porch swing adorns the front porch. Backyard has a large patio and beautiful outdoor furnishings for entertaining. String lights to light backyard. fenced backyard, Six person HOT TUB. FIRE PIT area, Barbecue Grill. Outdoor game area. Outdoor shower. WIFI. Smart TV, log right into your favorite source for shows and movies. iPhone charger in each room. Dog friendly. Dog treats, dog bed, medium kennel/crate available as well. NO CATS and Please DO NOT allow you dog to get on the beds. If we see that the pets have been in the bed, we will keep security deposit.

I pride myself in having more than just the basics. For example, the house has iPhone chargers that are next to the beds, well-appointed kitchen, fabulous barware, great books on mixology, beautiful throws, blankets for by the fire pit, outdoor shower, luggage racks in both rooms, essential oils with a defuser, and paper and plastic goods.

The entire place is yours to enjoy. You will be given an entry code and will have a self-check in. If you need anything at all we are just a few blocks away. A very safe and friendly neighborhood. About a six block walk to downtown and some of the best restaurants and coffee shops.

Late check out and early check in can be requested but will depend on availability.

Lawn service come on Tuesdays between 8 am and 12 pm. Take note when booking. If weather has been bad, they may have to come on Wednesday.

Cleaning: We have always had extremely high standards for cleaning and sanitation. After cleaning we sanitize every surface. Pull chains, switch plates, coffee pot handles, faucet handles, doorknobs, refrigerator handle, oven knobs, etc.
