The kitchen features stainless steel appliances, including a double oven, and offers counter seating for casual meals alongside a designated dining space. The attention to detail is evident with granite countertops and a tiled backsplash. The pine flooring enriches both the living area and the second floor, while wainscoting and tiled floors enhance the kitchen and bathrooms, giving this home a stylish yet comfortable feel. The master bedroom opens directly onto the ocean-side deck, perfect for welcoming the morning. For peaceful moments and outdoor games, there's a private fenced patio with grassy space at the dune level. The bedroom configuration includes one room on the top floor (Queen) and three bedrooms on the second floor (King, Queen, and 2 sets of Bunk Beds).

Summer Vacation

We truly enjoyed our time at this property. It was perfect for our annual family beach vacation. The amenities and views are amazing and we hope to come back again next year.

Great beach location

We had a wonderful stay on Topsail. Direct beach access, my dog loved running on the beach. Easy access to the main land and stores with everything you may need. A lot of stairs but that was expected for the location.

We enjoyed our stay very much, we got great weather too. everything was great, besides the air frier not working and the hot tub could have been hotter, it did get to 100, but didn't seem to stay long. We all appreciated the whole stay overall and would return again.

Topsail Beach Vacation

We had a wonderful stay! We have stayed at this property 4 others times in the past and we were very pleased. We were disappointed that the property was not very clean this time - the master bathroom shower had black mildew on the floor and the shower curtain. There was dust on the furniture and the door frames.

Family of 6 adults and 1 small child. Bedrooms spacious and comfortable. Open common area with ample seating. Kitchen well stocked. Very nice outside deck furniture! Beautiful views of ocean from anywhere in the common area and master suite. The realty handling property were excellent to work with. Making plans to stay here again next year.

Great place to vacation as a family

This is our second year staying at this property. It has the space we need as a family of 6 plus kids. I especially like there are three bedrooms for adults. It is hard to find properties to accommodate multiple adult couples. The fourth bedroom is a bunk room, perfect for kids. Property is clean and nicely furnished. Lots of supplies in the kitchen. Everyone enjoys the hot tub after a long day on the beach. We hope to stay again next year.

Great vacation

We have been coming to Topsail Island/Surf City for over 15 years. This was, by far, one of the nicer rentals. Aside from a strange electrical issue (the breaker was tripped every time the exhaust fan was turned on in the upstairs bathroom), everything was perfect. We had some minor issues, but they were attended to immediately. Communication with the owner was awesome. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an oceanfront vacation!

Cleaning would be good

Great location. There was clearly dirt from months of use. I get that a deep cleaning is impractical. However, one every once in a while would remove some long term dirt. There was no vacuum or cleaning supplies. Some visitors will do some upkeep if there are cleaning supplies to do it.

Garage sale furnishings in an awkward layout

My family has vacationed on Topsail for over 30 years & have rented many ocean-front homes south of Surf City. This property, half a duplex with reverse floor plan, was disappointing. It has an odd layout: there are 4 bedrooms, 1 of which is on the upper floor, but is not the master. Only 1 of the bedrooms (the "master" with king bed) is ocean-facing, & is located on the lower level. In order to get outside from the other two bedrooms on that floor, one must either go through the master & out onto the deck, or go UP a flight of stairs, then back down the deck stairs to get to the beach. The upper & lower bedrooms that overlook the road were very noisy; we heard cars, not the ocean. The outdoor shower is inconveniently located in the garage under the house. With the exception of the master bedroom & outdoor spaces, the place is furnished with beaten-up, mismatched furniture that is second-hand. in addition to being unattractive, both sofas are uncomfortable, & the main sectional sofa is covered in a filthy off-white slipcover. The carpet on the stairs is extremely dirty & stained as well. At least the weekly maid service did a pretty good job cleaning before we checked in. The kitchen equipment included a drip coffee maker that is at least 20 years old, & which burns the coffee after 10 minutes. The kitchen had not been organized in quite some time, so that every meal prep was a scavenger hunt to locate appropriate pots & pans, utensils, etc. Eating utensils & measuring cups were inadequate, but there were 9 sets of kitchen tongs and 4 cheese graters. The property description & photo on the website showed a gas grill, which was missing. We had to rearrange our menu plans until a grill was finally provided. When we arrived, the A/C which cools the three lower level bedrooms was not working; fortunately, the property manager was able to get a tech to repair it the next day, which we greatly appreciated. We also provided the property manager with a punch list of items requiring repair (not our job), including the kitchen faucet that fell off each time it was used, a kitchen cabinet that was missing a knob, the screen door to the slider that had a plastic bag for a makeshift handle, no hot water in the O/S shower, & a bi-fold closet door that was off the track. A handyman came, fixed the kitchen faucet & O/S shower, & removed the screen door & took it away; that was it. Very disappointing, particularly for what we paid for it.

Excellent dog family beach vacation

Our time last week in your home on the incredible Surf City Beach was honestly perfect. Felt completely private, with nothing between you and the beach 24/7. Being able to walk out of the door and touch the sand every morning, afternoon and night was like a dream — the closest thing to living on a beach I’ve ever experienced. The beds were super comfortable, in each room, and the linens we rented were soft. Kitchen was well equipped. Wish we had known there was a whole closet of beach chairs and tents available — we discovered it literally as we were leaving Surf City is perfect for families like ours with beach loving dogs. We were able to keep ours with us on the beach instead of keeping them inside all day long while we hung at the water’s edge. Shelling on this beach was also pretty terrific, with local shops talking of shark teeth to be found on the shores nearby. Not a ton to do in town there in Surf City, which was fine. We played some mini-golf, the main pier was a nice walk out over the water with some ice cream in hand, and we did find a small video game arcade on the ground floor of a building on the main road just north of town. Restaurants we tried were fine, though we mostly bought fresh seafood and ate in. Found the local custom doughnuts and bagel shops — not exactly a NY bagel, and the doughnuts were cake only, but each gave us consistent, crowd-pleasing breakfasts for family of 8 each morning. Overall, the house was perfect for us — and we would love to come back next year!

Great family getaway

After a bad year for the family we all needed to get away for serious relaxation and healing. This was just what we needed. Comfortable spacious house with just about everything you need for a beach vacation. Location was great-not to close or far from stores and restaurants. Rooms were spacious, kitchen well appointed and had beach chairs and canopies to boot. Great seating on the deck for morning coffee or evening adult beverages. Great time.

Well stocked Ocean front Rental!

We loved staying here in February. It is so nice to be steps away from the beach! The furniture both inside and outside was exactly what we needed. It’s super cute and clean! We loved that the kitchen was well stocked with nice appliances/ dishes, tons of gadgets and utensils. The master bedroom is beautiful! We loved using the hot tub and being able to watch the ocean from the bed. We had a range of ages from little kids to senior citizens. Everyone loved it! We would definitely stay here again!

Clean but other disappointments

We originally rented this home off of a different owner whom sold the property prior to our stay. The items that we supposed to be included in my original contract were not such as beach chairs, paper products, laundry and dish soap. The original outdoor furniture that was shown was also no longer at the property and had been replaced with subpar replacements. However the property was extremely clean upon our arrival but was not ready by our 4 pm check-in time. A real estate company is not running the rental property and when I asked about the items that were supposed to be included in my contract I received no response. Our family did have a wonderful time at this property I just felt that I should have been notified prior to our arrival about the charges. This is why I rent through VRBO and not through real estate companies. We also survived a level 1 hurricane that hit the island and the real estate company did nothing to prepare the home prior to the storm nor did they bother to call and check on the property until way later the next day.

Great Getaway

This Beach House accommodated my family of 10 people very nicely. It was clean and nicely furnished. The beach was great. It was a really good way for my family to vacation during this time of social isolation.

Perfect beach getaway

This house is perfect! Big rooms with a lot of space, perfect location, beautiful beach, outdoor shower for the kids... once we pulled up we never left the property. Towels, beach chairs, kitchen items and laundry. We loved our stay and will be back.

Perfect family/friends gathering~NC Beaches

There were 6 adults and 2 kids. 4 additional cousins came for a short day on sat. Perfect space for all of us. We checked in and didn’t go anywhere until check out. It’s that amazing. Celebrating life~

We truly had the BEST time!

This property lives up to its name and provides a beautiful, tranquil place to have “the best of times” with loved ones. We particularly enjoyed the proximity to the beach and beautiful view even when indoors. We hope to be back again and stay at this property.
