The house was absolutely perfect for our family! The house was very clean and well stocked. Loved how roomy the entire living space was. The views are amazing!

My husband and I stayed here with our daughter and her two young children. We loved having bedrooms on multiple levels. Plenty of nice beds and bathrooms. The view is unbeatable. The baby gate was a huge plus. The only thing we would request is larger bath towels. We would definitely stay here again.

Good location at Surf City. Walk right onto the beach. Good bedroom setup with adequate bathrooms. Nice to have beds made and bath towels provided. Property clean and well kept.

House is easy to access. Great location. Description indicated there were no beach chairs or towels but those were available - although not as nice as other places we have stayed. It was well kept, a little worn, but overall a great place for a week at the beach. Nice that they supplied a portacrib and high chair. Being on the beach is great. Very easy to communicate with host

Thank you for your thoughtful review! We’re so glad you enjoyed the beachfront location, found the home easy to access, and appreciated the provided portacrib and high chair. We’re also happy to hear communication with our team was easy throughout your stay. We did want to clarify one point for future guests. While you found some beach chairs at the home, we actually do not advertise or supply beach chairs, as they are not part of our standard amenities. Occasionally, guests leave beach items behind, and those may still be available for the next guest to use, but we can’t guarantee their presence or condition. Thank you again for staying with us. The dishwasher was full when we got there. House is beautiful. Great access to the beach! Even had extra chairs and beach accessories. However would have been nice to have a bigger TV in the living room. And the thermostat would only go to 66 and I’m hot natured. I would stay there again!

Below 66 your would have frozen the unit up and incurred a fee. Dishwasher was full because cleaners couldn't hang around and wait for it to finish.

Great place on the beach!

This is a great place to stay and lives up to its description. This is the second year that I’ve stayed here and will definitely be back. The owner has great communication and keeps the place very clean and comfortable. It’s a perfect house for the perfect getaway in Surf City.

Sol Purpose

Stay was awesome. Very nice house and close to son in Holly Ridge so he could visit daily. Lovely beach view from both decks and direct access to beach. Really enjoyed our stay!

Looking to step outside onto the beach and not fight traffic? This is your place. It is comfortable and great location close to everything. The communication was fast and eager to answer questions.

Great family house

Great house for our family of 10 (6 adults, 4 kids ages 1-8) and 2 dogs. Great porches to hang out on and we loved being so close to the ocean. Close to a public beach access but it wasn’t extremely crowded. Lots of eating spaces and comfortable beds. We would have liked to have a small vacuum for cleaning sand during the week, especially with a pet friendly house.

Can't wait to go back!

Lives up to the description . Mom and kids were very satisfied . Great lay out and very clean . Location is perfect also. Most relaxing get away in a long time , can't wait to go back for a longer stay. Hopefully peak time will impress as well. Blender may or may not be there, no worries.

Sol Purpose was the perfect beachfront rental

We had a wonderful time at Sol Purpose in Surf City. The house was exactly as advertised and communication with the owner was phenomenal. We had a small issue upon check in and the owner immediately responded. She had someone at the property immediately. They stayed into the evening (on a Saturday!) to help make sure everything was ok. That meant a lot to us. It was the perfect beachfront house in the perfect location for the six of us and our dog. We will stay here again the next time we are on Topsail. Highly recommend!!

An Amazing Vacation at Sol Purpose for the 2nd Year in a Row!

We first stayed at Sol Purpose last year and fell in love with Surf City, Topsail Island, and the house. You could not be in a better location to enjoy a week at the beach as the house is right on the beach with private access. On the beach, you have plenty of space as it is deep and most of the other beachgoers are staying in neighboring houses. Inside, the house is tastefully updated with a clean and modern look. The bedrooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and towels & washcloths placed right on the bed. Every bedroom has its own television and the internet is plenty fast for multiple different streams or joining virtual meetings. The kitchen and living area is large and full of light. New stainless steel appliances in the kitchen and plenty of of cutlery, cooking/food preparation tools, and cups/glasses in the drawers and cabinets. The deck overlooks the beach and is a beautiful place to take in a sunset or sunrise. Betsy was communicative and clear about everything we needed to do from booking, to check in, to check out. She fielded questions, responded quickly, and was amenable to requests. On the island we loved JM's On The Water for a reasonably priced, large portioned fresh seafood meal, the Beach Shop & Grill for a fancier meal, and Daybreak Donuts for a freshly made sweet treat. Off the island we loved Sundial Coffee and Tea and Salty Turtle Brewery. There are also a Publix, Wal-Mart, and Food Lion in the same area along with various other standard strip mall shops, restaurants, and gas stations. It made stocking the house with groceries or grabbing something we forgot very easy (about 7 minutes from the house with no traffic). I can't recommend Sol Purpose enough, you'll be in good hands and have a great time!

The view and location are perfect! The house was very comfortable for our family which included 7 adults, 2 babies and 2 dogs. I would definitely come here again. Unfortunately most of us had to drive separately and parking can accommodate 6 cars!
