Additionally, each of the 3 bedrooms all have their own full bathroom. This home is located in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by cool pines and is close to Shopping, Hiking trails, nearby Lakes all within a few miles and a park only walking distance from the home that has a Frisbee golf course, Hiking Trails, Softball Fields and Tennis courts all within walking distance.

Fabulous location with a nice park and walking trail just outside the door. Everything we needed for the stay. Good communication. Quiet neighborhood and friendly neighbors.

My husband and I rented the house July 28 through August 8 this year. There were thick cobwebs both inside and outside every window, especially on the front of the house. There was a pile of pine needles in the corner of the master bedroom sliding patio screen door. There was a tea kettle on the stove that had grease spots over all of the surface. One of the exhaust fans had half an inch of dust on it; same with the overhead vent in the hallway. VRBO's description showed a gas grill. It was inoperable because there was no grate that could be used on top of the gas jets. The grill was further unusable because there were some kind of bee in the back yard. My husband was stung six times, and I was stung once. There were only two hand towels among three bathrooms in the house, and no wash cloths. There was only one lamp in the house, no reading lamps in the 3 bedrooms. There was one night stand among the 3 bedrooms; no place to put a phone, etc. There was a hole in the front deck approximately 12 inches by about 3 inches.My husband and I tried 4 times to contact the owner. He said heā€™d get in contact with us. We asked when we could expect him, as we wanted to let him know about the things mentioned above; further I had pictures of cobwebs and the vents I wanted to show him. He told us heā€™d let us know, but didnā€™t.He did come to the house while we werenā€™t there. None of our further attempts to contact him were successful, either.

Great getaway in Show low

We were in town for a youth baseball tournament and made a long weekend of it. The mountain retreat was the perfect place to stay!! It was steps away from the park, and close to everything (dining, stores, etc). Great closely wishing at Fools Hollow and just a short drive from Rainbow lake, our favorite Fishing spot. The house was perfect for our small family, we couldā€™ve had a couple more and been just as comfortable. It is updated nicely and very comfortable. We will definitely try to stay here again! Brian was great to work with!

Thanksgiving trip

The king size mattress was very comfortable. The floors weren't very clean, but that was probably due to the vacuum not working properly. The 3 toilets had urine all over them. We had to clean them before using them. The showers had shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in them. The kitchen didn't have any baking pans to use, so we bought a pizza pan that we left there for the next people. The outside of the house had spiderwebs everywhere and the rain gutters were full of pine needles. Over all, our stay was great. We were thankful to have a place to stay that was able to accommodate a big family.

Location was good.

Spent a week at the property and we enjoyed our stay. It had plenty of room for a multigenerational family vacation. The yard was perfect for the kids to play and the park down the street was amazing. The windows do let cold air in so keeping the house warm got challenging at night but there was also space heaters provided. I would stay here again if the need came up.

Wonderfully Cozy

We had an amazing stay. We were in walking distance to baseball tournament fields. We wished we could have explored Show Low. Itā€™s a beautiful town with the nicest people. The neighborhood was quiet, friendly and picturesque. There were parks and trails with walking distance. The owners have an awesome binder with lists of things to do. For a baseball moment m the home provided all the amenities it lists. Three bedrooms each had a bathroom which meant my sons had their own bedroom and bathroom, no lines or waiting. Seriously an amazing stay. Th house is beautiful, the amenities are perfect and the neighborhood was an amazing community. Thank you!

Attended a Murder trial

Our stay was enjoyable at the property and the location was perfect with the park down the street for family that stayed in separate locations it was perfect. We wanted to grill steaks one night, but the grill was out of gas. Looks like the previous tenants left the valve open. The stay at the property was the best thing about our trip as we were in court all day and coming 'home' to relax and take in the day was very helpful and assisted the family in dealing with the case.

Show low Labor Day trip

We enjoyed our stay a Mountain Retreat. Large spacious rooms, kitchen and living area. Short walk to the city park and short drive to both lakes, grocery store just down the road. What was not so good was the cleanliness of the floors and the back yard where the BBQ grill was and fire pit needed some tending too. Would have loved to see the grill and picnic table on the front deck. It was a long way from the kitchen to the back grill. Found Dining room chairs very uncomfortable. Just a little more TLC and this place would be a gem

Our family had a great stay at Mountain Retreat! It's so close to the Show Low city park and pool and Safeway. It was a great homebase for our hiking adventures also. Would highly recommend! recommend

Great house!

We had a great time staying here! The house was clean, nicely layed out for us- traveled with 4 kiddos, kitchen had everything you need, and both back and front yards were fenced in! Beds were comfortable too and therr was plenty of extra bedding. The location was spot on as well! Close to City Park so we could walk the 5mins to the playground or a bit longer to the dog park. All activities we were interested in were within 15 mins from the house. Neighborhood was quiet and neighbors were friendly. I would definitely stay here again!

Spacious home with three well sized bedrooms and bathrooms. The master bedroom is in the other side of the home making for a great quiet area for the adults. The gated in front yard was a great space for kids. The neighbors were very friendly!
