Our stay was great! The house was very cute and clean. Hot tub worked great and was nice and hot! Everything was so well thought out. Lots of helpful hints posted around the property and we loved that all the light switches were labeled! The location is walkable to downtown as well, however, the road right in front of the home does not have a sidewalk and can be busy at times. We would definitely stay here again!

We walked to the downtown area during our stay, just a couple minutes down the road there was a beautiful and fun sourwood festival going on. The check in process was easy and very straightforward so we got right into having a blast on our trip. Any issues that came up were addressed so quickly that it was like they never happened at all. I haven’t had such a great experience with a rental before. I’m recommending to people I know that this is the best rental in black mountain. It’s honestly worth every penny… then some!

Modern Getaway

From the moment we booked till the time we checked out, the host kept in contact with us. The townhouse was perfect! Cleaniless and instructions for use of the place were fantastic. The recommendations were a plus. The home was relaxing and comfortable. No noise complaints to be given. The hot tub was amazing! This place was situated conveniently to restaurants, shops and other atrractions. I will gladly stay here again!.

Great spot!

Husband and I spent a weekend here and it was a great spot!! It was within walking distance to pretty much every spot downtown while still being private and tucked away. It's small, but it's all we needed for a weekend for the two of us. All furniture was super cozy, amenities were perfect and the hot tub spot was amazing! Highly recommend.

Asheville luxe stay

The space was clean, cozy, and well-stocked with everything I needed. The location was perfect, close to downtown but still quiet, with easy access to the mountains and trails. The host was incredibly responsive and provided great local recommendations.

Nice retreat for for 2.

My husband and i booked this location cause we wanted to stay in walking distance to Black mountain. It was perfect. Very private, close to everything. The spa was amazing. I dont think we could have gotten a better location for in town.

Black Mountain respite near antique shopping!

This getaway was overdue, but what a fantastic 2 night stay! From the outset, the hosts communicated above and beyond. When we arrived, the beautifully and simply designed space had information for how to use any appliances, the TV, explore the area, run the A/C & hot tub and more. Besides just getting away, this was a fun way to explore antique shops in the area. Coming up from SC, we stopped at favorite antique malls in Tryon and Hendersonville (Needful Things II) before check-in. While this two-story cottage is attached to another larger rental, we didn’t run into or hear the other guests, even though they were around. We had our own parking place and entrance. The bed was comfortable, the whole place including the bathroom was clean and organized beautifully, and the kitchen and living space were just right and comfortable for a couple. The one full day we had in Black Mountain, we visited a couple antique shops, gift shops, and local art shops. We ate at the crepe restaurant La Guinguette for lunch and Kilwins for a waffle cone. Everything was within walking distance that day, and we finished off by setting up folding chairs at The Railyard and watched fireworks with many in the community for the 4th of July. It was an easy two minute walk from the front door! After we checked out, we headed toward the Asheville area and made stops at our new favorite Buckeye Antiques before heading on to Altamont Antiques and the Tobacco Barn (on the same road with each other).

The perfect Black Mountain rental!

We booked this cute home for a quick stay before dropping off our son at summer camp, and this adorable and clean space was absolutely perfect. The location is walkable to the new Rail Yard, and all of the cute spots in downtown black mountain. Home was extremely clean inside and out, everything was well organized and easy to find. We will definitely stay again. 😀

Weekend getaway

Homebase for weekend of hikes, trails runs and walkable dining in town. Great outdoor hot tub setup. Would recommend for couples.

Excellent getaway stay

Perfect for a quiet couples getaway. The description is 100% accurate. Everything we needed was there in the house, including every bit of information you could need about the area. There is no need to have a car unless you're leaving the town or maybe for a grocery run. We will be returning for sure!

Great location, everything you need

We really enjoyed our 3 nights at the Intown Cottage. We could easily walk into downtown Black Mountain for everything. We also visited the nearby Lookout Brewery and Railyard, and had dinner at the Bush Farmhouse. Hiking in Montreat is just a few minutes away, and making a day trip to the Biltmore Estate only took about 15-20 minutes. The private hot tub was a great way to relax and recharge after our busy days. We ate out for each meal, but the kitchen has everything we would have needed to make great meals. All in all, it's a great property!

40th Wedding Anniversary

We loved our stay! The lovely cottage was, well….just lovely. ❤️ We enjoyed staying in with the hot tub and very functional kitchen. And we loved getting to know the town of Black Mountain. Chris and Jason were excellent hosts! Hoping to go back.

The Luxe Couples Escape & Spa is a turnkey experience for vacationing travelers who want to be centrally located, with immediate access to both local and regional attractions. Asheville, the Biltmore Estate, Chimney Rock, Lake Lure, Mt Mitchel and the Blue Ridge Parkway are in easy striking distance. But many who come find that Black Mountain/Montreat are the surprise. With a growing reputation as both an outdoor recreation mecca and a town center that supports year round tourism, Black Mountain has become the most visited Asheville satellite (per capita) in the region, while nearby Montreat has some of the most pristine back country hiking and mountain biking trails in WNC.

I provide coffee and assorted teas along with creamer and sugar....For the kitchen-cooking oils and spices, a slow cooker and everything you need for full meal service and prep. In regards to the house, there is Smart cable TV with Netflix and Prime. There is no smoking or vaping inside, but instead please enjoy your smokes on the private deck. For little ones, there is a high chair, and a Pack n’ Play. For families-cornhole, board games, and books. For those working, a printer and 250 mps WiFi. For everyone else a hot tub at 104 degrees.
