Kuratau Holiday Home

Kuratau is a fantasic family holiday spot, ideal for swimming, boating, water skiing, kayaking, fishing, bushwalks and relaxing.

Our bach is a comfortable, sunny, 2 storey home with a sleepout. Upstairs it has a large open plan living space with a log burner, a dining table that can seat up to 10 and a separate toilet and utility room. There is also a large deck with a BBQ, outdoor furniture. Downstairs are three bedrooms, a bathroom and laundry.

It is a 5 minute walk to the lake/boat ramp, rivermouth, tennis courts and children’s playgrounds. Kayaks can be hired nearby. It’s within walking distance of the local cafe, is a 45 minute drive to Whakapapa Ski field, a 40 minute drive to Taupo, a 10 minute drive to Tokaanu Thermal Pools, and a 15 minute drive to Turangi.

There is plenty of offstreet parking for a boat and additional cars. The house is well set up to accommodate children (highchair, porta-cot, stairgate, fire guard, books, games, puzzles, paper and pens, tennis racquets) and has a flat private lawn.

Two night minimum stay.
Smoking allowed outside only.
Cleaning: Visitors to leave the bach as found or there is charge for cleaning $85.
Pets outside only.
