Great place to stay

Lakefront property with boat ramp, jetty, space for parking trailers/vehicles and well set-up accommodation with everything you need.....and fabulous views.

Amazing stay highly recommend

Great location Hired both houses for our family and had the best Xmas stay right on the water front. The houses are supplied with everything you could possibly need. Friendly owners and very helpful. Plenty of room for boat and jetskis. Very clean and accomodating highly recommend.

Great bach on the lakefront

We had a great time here. Bach has all equipment you could possibly need. Great for 2 families staying together. Boat ramp allows easy access to the lake. Easy to find and quiet location

Great location

Had an awesome time for the long weekend. Had 2 days on the lake fishing. Great to come back to a warm house with great facilities. We've booked again :-)

Good stay in nice property

As advertised, nice property, good facilities. Just a couple of very minor things - spices in space rack seem about a decade old and faulty wiring on one of the bedside lamps. But not worried about those minor things - Overall great stay, happy to recommend to others.

Great Location on the Lake

This little cottage has character. Situated on the lake, it is peaceful and beautiful. There is a shared drive with the neighbouring cottages on each side. As described there are 2 cottages joined by a common covered sitting area and shared front door. We stayed in Koura 1 which was plenty of space for us 4 adults. Kitchen was well stocked. Communication was a bit of a challenge at first. We did not receive arrival instructions until 8pm so we ended up going to the neighbor who shared the caretaker Mike’s contact info. Mike was very helpful over the phone walking us through entry and basic instructions about our stay. Overall would recommend staying here if you want a quiet spot out of the busy touristy Rotorua, but easily accessible at approx 20mins drive away.

Cosy Lake House

This is the second time we stayed here. It is so comfortable and very well provisioned. All communication with the owner has been easy and friendly. I would highly recommend this property. The launch ramp and jetty are great for everyday boating. And the icing on the cake is the lovely next door neighbour.

Family friendly getaway

My family rented this property for 4 nights and absolutely fell in love. Great location and ideally situated to enjoy the relaxed environment of a lake side cottage with all the amenities but also close enough to drive into Rotorua for the odd dinner and adrenaline fix. Seven minutes to the Rotoiti Hot Pools on the jet ski from the boat ramp on the property was an awesome bonus. Family friendly accommodation that has everything you need for either a relaxing holiday or fun with the boat or jetski exploring the lake. Thanks for the use of the cottage Dan and we will definitely be coming back again.

What a gem!

We had a great time at this lakeside Bach…was so nice to put our boat in the water and just go out for the day on the lake and the hot pools were a highlight! Enough beds and kitchens well stocked….2 families stayed across the two beaches and this worked well. We have a wakeboard boat and although it was easy to get it into the water off the boat ramp we struggled to get it out (due to the angles) so had to pull it out over at the public ramp. This would not put us off staying again…just a good to know for anyone with a similar boat.

Lakeside relaxation

Wonderful spot to holiday. Worked so well to have two different spaces. Really well equiped… the best equipped bach so far on lake Rotoiti that we have stayed in.

Great summer spot

A great spot for two families to share a holiday. Pictures are accurate on listing, a classic Bach in a great part of NZ.

Relaxed Stay

Relaxing time in Lake Rotoiti - great property - plenty of space, easy access to use Lake and get away from the busyness of life. Would love to come back again in summer and enjoy the lake!

Winter Family Holiday

A warm cosy spot to get away to. Although we stayed in winter with very cold and wet weather the house was warm and cosy, plenty of room for our family of 6. This would be fantastic in summer with the boat ramp right in front of the house. A great stay thanks.
